Description
The invention relates to a method for applying markings to a stationary surface according to the preamble of claim 1 and to an apparatus for carrying out the method.
It is known, for example, to mark straight lines of a playing field by means of a mobile device to be led by an operator by hand, provided with a marking head. In doing so, at least the end points of these lines must first be defined and designated.
The present invention has for its object to provide a method of the type mentioned above and to provide a device for carrying out the method by which marks of any shape can be reliably performed even from large areas for a corresponding template without a prior measurement is necessary ,
This object is achieved according to the invention by a method according to claim 1 and by a device having the features of claim 3.
Preferred embodiments of the invention form the subject of the dependent claims.
The method according to the invention and the device according to the invention for carrying out the method enable rapid and cost-effective marking of any shape on surfaces of various and complex types, with which, for example, advertisements, inscriptions, boundary lines, images etc. can be applied without much effort.
The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. It shows:
Fig. 1 shows schematically an embodiment of a mobile device for attaching marking lines in side view.
In Fig. 1, a mobile device 1 is shown for attaching marks on a surface F, which has a provided with at least one wheel 4 and movable with this on the surface F chassis 2. For handling the chassis 2 is equipped in the upper part with a handle 5. In the lower part of a marker head 6 is mounted on the chassis 2. The marking head 6 is designed as a spray can actuated by the operator from the handle 5 or its actuating part 5a in a manner not shown in detail.
Coaxial with the longitudinal axis A of the marking head 6 and the spray can, a positioning device 7 is mounted on the chassis 2, which is provided for determining the current device or marking head position with respect to the surface F to be marked. It is preferably an antenna which forms part of a navigation system known per se for satellite positioning, such as GPS or Glonass. In one of the Fig. 1 corresponding working position of the mobile device 1, the longitudinal axis A is directed perpendicular to the surface to be marked 3, so that the position determination is as accurate as possible. To control this working position, the chassis 2 is equipped with a spirit level 8.
The positioning device 7 is operatively connected to a not shown in the drawing, carried by the operator electronic control device, which communicates with means for visual display in connection, for which purpose the antenna is connected via a not-shown wire to the control device. As a control device, for example, a computer can be used as a means for visual display a screen. The current device or marker head position determined by the positioning device 7 is detected by the control device and displayed on the screen as, for example, a cursor. At the same time, a template of the desired marking in a reproduction scale is displayed by the control device and displayed on the screen.
Based on the visual display, the mobile device 1 is then guided in accordance with the current device te- or marker head position and in coordination with the target template by the operator, while the marker head 6 is actuated.
The chassis of the mobile device may well have a different from the embodiment of FIG. 1 shape. Advantageously, for example, the marking head 6 and the positioning device 7 are interconnected and arranged on the chassis transversely to the direction of travel together adjustable. By means of a transverse adjustment of the marking head carried out by the operator, smaller line deviations in the transverse direction can be carried out without the mobile device having its wheel unit having to be rotated in the transverse direction.
Instead of being carried by the operator, the control device and the visual display could also be positioned on the mobile device itself.
Of course, the mobile device could also be equipped with two or more wheels. The marking head could include more than one spray can. Instead of a spraying spray of a paint, another marking element could also be used, e.g. a nozzle, a seed spreader, a tool for a surface treatment such as roughening, piercing, mowing, etc.
The mobile device could also be constructed to include a rack holding the positioning device 7 and the marking head 6, which is carried by the user during the control movement, which is not shown in detail. The frame has no wheels, but it is brought by a corresponding hand movement in the required position.
The invention is sufficiently demonstrated with the embodiments explained above. It could of course be explained in other embodiments.
Thus, for example, instead of the spirit level, an electronic means for measuring the vertical attitude of the device could be provided so that the axis A can always be kept more vertical.
