The invention relates to a ring spinning machine with a plurality of spinning rings and rotors arranged thereon according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
Ring spinning machines of this type are known in various designs (WO 80/00 982; CH-PS 490 532). They all have in common that the radially inner leg of the rotor rests in operation with a certain surface on the running surface of the spinning ring, the surface pressure generated by the centrifugal force acting on the rotor being greater, the smaller the contact surface between the rotor and the Spinning ring is.
Not only the centrifugal force is important for the surface pressure between the rotor and the spinning ring, but also the centripetal force generated by the thread guided by the rotor, so that the resulting force acting on the rotor from the ring forms an angle of about 5 to 10 ° with the horizontal includes, whereby this resulting force has a small component in the direction vertically downward. These force relationships influence the wear phenomena that occur on the spinning rings, which are greater the greater the surface pressure that occurs between the spinning ring and the rotor. In the usual spinning rings with a T-shaped cross section, the available contact area is relatively small and the surface pressure is therefore very high.
This limits the rotor speed and thus the spindle speed on the one hand, and high spinning ring and rotor wear occurs on the other hand. In a plane running through the spindle axis, the generatrix of the contact surface between the spinning ring and rotor transverse to the resulting force between the ring and rotor generally only has an extension of approximately 0.5 mm. With larger contact surfaces, the surface load is uneven, which results in a correspondingly uneven wear and also limits the spindle speed.
The aim of the invention is to increase the contact area between the spinning ring and the rotor during operation, especially in the direction transverse to the force between the ring and the rotor, and the performance potential of the T-flange for spinning rings with at least a substantially T-shaped cross section Ring system to increase significantly, ie allow a significantly higher rotor speed and therefore spindle speed without excessive wear of the rotor and spinning ring.
To achieve this object, the features of the characterizing part of claim 1 are provided. Preferred dimensions can be found in claims 2 to 15.
The idea of the invention is therefore to be seen in the fact that the tread on the spinning ring of the T-shaped spinning ring is drawn significantly further downwards without an excessive curvature and that only then is the ring step of the spinning ring provided at the transition to the foot part. As a result, the contact area between the rotor and the spinning ring is increased significantly in operation in the required direction transverse to the normal force, without fear of an uneven surface pressure distribution.
In contrast to known designs (CH-PS 490 532), all areas of the contact surface between the spinning ring and the rotor are at least substantially evenly loaded in the spinning ring-rotor system according to the invention, because they run at least substantially perpendicular to the normal force. According to the invention, it is therefore not only important to enlarge the contact area between the rotor and the spinning ring during operation, but to carry out this enlargement in such a way that all areas of the contact area are at least substantially equally stressed, so that the wear is largely evenly distributed over the contact area ,
Compared to known T-flange ring rotor systems, the contact area between the rotor ring and the spinning ring can be increased by a factor of 3 without the uniform distribution of the compressive forces being significantly impaired.
The embodiment according to claim 2 is preferred, although the curvature of the generators could in principle also be variable, but only to a limited extent.
Of particular importance is the radius of curvature range according to claim 3, in particular in connection with the features of claim 4, because a significant increase in contact area is achieved without significantly affecting the uniformity of the force distribution.
This objective also favors the embodiments according to claims 5 and 7.
On the basis of the features of claim 7 it is achieved that the rotor in the contact area is slightly less curved than the generatrix of the running surface on the spinning ring. As a result, at least at the start of operation, the inner leg part of the rotor is initially supported in the middle of the intended contact surface area, which then expands to the intended target contact surface within a short operating time due to wear. As a result, the two surfaces adapt to each other due to the inclined position of the rotor.
The features of claims 8 to 10 are important in connection with a proper mounting of the rotor on the spinning ring and possibly to prevent unthreading when the ring spinning machine is at a standstill.
The embodiments according to claims 11 and 12 are important in connection with the arrangement and design of the tread according to the invention.
A further advantageous embodiment can be found in claim 13.
The invention is described below, for example with reference to the drawing; in this shows:
Fig. 1 shows a vertical section through the center of a spinning ring for a ring spinning machine according to the invention and
Fig. 2 shows the detail II of Fig. 1 on a greatly enlarged scale and with additional representation of the rotor arranged on the spinning ring and the thread guided by it.
1, a spinning ring 11 according to the invention has an annular base part 26, which is arranged on a ring bench, not shown, of a ring spinning machine around an opening 25 provided for the passage of the spindle, not shown. The base part 26, which is extended in the radial direction, is adjoined at the top by a narrower and also ring-shaped foot 18, on which the actual ring-shaped rotor support part 27 is located.
The foot 18 and the rotor support part 27 together have a substantially T-shaped cross section.
According to FIG. 2, a rotor 12 is arranged on the rotor support part 27 of the spinning ring 11, which rotor has an essentially inverted U-shaped shape and is continuously curved from one end to the other end in the embodiment according to FIG. 2. The runner 12 has a convexly curved apex region 28, which is located at a distance from the apex region 22 of the rotor support part 27, as well as a radially inner leg 32 and a radially outer leg 20, which in each case continuously towards the free end toward the inside of the U. - Form-pointing inner bend 14 or outer bend 24, which in the operating position shown in FIG. 2 have a safety clearance 17 or 21 relative to the foot 18 of the spinning ring 11.
The generatrix of the apex region 22 of the rotor support part 27 is essentially rectilinear according to FIG. 2 and is slightly inclined towards the inside of the spinning ring 11.
The inner bend 14 is arranged at a substantially vertical distance 30 from a lower ring step 15 of the rotor support part 27, while the outer bend 24 has a clear vertical distance 31 from an outer ring flange 23 of the rotor support part 27. The ring flange 23 forms the radially outer leg of the T-profile of the spinning ring 11.
The inner leg 32 of the rotor 12 contains a leg part 13 which, in the operating position shown in FIG. 2, cooperates with a tread 16 provided radially on the inside on the rotor support part 27. In the operating position, the radially outer surface 19 of the rotor support part 27 has a clear radial distance from the outer leg 20 of the rotor 12.
During operation, the leg part 13 and the running surface 16 are in such surface contact with one another that there is at least essentially constant surface pressure on all surface regions. For this purpose, the generatrix of the tread 16 is slightly convexly curved in the shape of a circular arc, the radius of curvature being 2 to 10 mm. The mean angle of the generatrix of the tread 16 to the vertical, that is the tangent T to the center of the generatrix, is clearly below 45 ° and preferably 5 to 10 °. The angle of the generatrix to the vertical in the upper area is at least very close to 0 ° and should not exceed 30 ° in the lower area. The length of the generatrix of the tread 16 should be 1.0 mm or more.
The curvature and inclination of the leg part 13 of the rotor 12 largely correspond to the values of the generatrix of the tread 16, although the radius of curvature of the leg part 13 is expediently greater by about 20% than that of the generatrix of the tread 16.
This design takes into account that the centrifugal force Z acting on the rotor 12 and the thread force S exerted on the rotor 12 by the yarn 29 add up to a normal force N, the tread 16 and the leg part 13 being designed and arranged in such a way that the base point of the resulting normal force N on the tread 16 is at least substantially in the middle of the generatrix of the tread 16 and the normal force N is at least substantially perpendicular to the tangent T to the generatrix of the tread 16 at the base. The triangle of forces formed on the tread 16 from the thread force S, the centrifugal force Z and the normal force N is shown in broken lines in FIG. 2.
The function of the arrangement described is as follows:
In operation, a yarn 29 is guided through the gap between the apex region 22 of the spinning ring 11 and the apex region 28 of the rotor 12 in the manner shown in FIG. 2 from the drafting system, not shown, to the spindle, not shown. Here, the yarn 29 exerts a relatively low resulting thread force S on the rotor 12. The rotor 12 moves at a high speed of e.g. 40 m / sec around the center of the spinning ring 11 and thereby gives the yarn 29 the required spinning twist. The interaction of thread force S and centrifugal force Z on the rotor 12 forces the latter essentially radially outward, so that the leg part 13 comes into contact with the running surface 16. The resulting normal force N is perpendicular to the tangent T approximately in the middle of the generatrix of the tread.
The free ends of the bends 14, 24 have a clear safety clearance 17 or 21 relative to the base of the spinning ring 11. In addition, the rotor 12 is clearly spaced everywhere from the latter relative to the spinning ring 11, so that the contact is limited to the running surface 16. On the basis of the design according to the invention, the forces between the spinning ring 11 and the rotor 12 are distributed over a relatively large area, the surface pressure over the contact area being very uniform.
