The invention relates to a fastening coupling for corrugated pipes of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1. The fastening coupling can preferably be used as an adapter or screw connection for fastening corrugated insulating pipes to control cabinets, housings, machines or the like.
A fastening coupling of this type is known from DE 3 903 353 A1. Your locking tongue is held in the locked position by the two lateral material webs connecting it to the sleeve, in which the locking projection projects into the clear insertion cross section for the corrugated pipe. By pressing on the other arm of the securing tongue, the locking projection can be moved radially outward, with the torsionally elastic deformation of the material webs, in order to release the corrugated pipe. A disadvantage of the known coupling is that the locking projection is held in the locking position exclusively by the elastic restoring force of the material webs, so that a strong pull on the coupled corrugated pipe pushes the locking projection outwards and can lead to an unwanted release of the corrugated pipe.
In order to avoid this, the webs could be dimensioned such that they oppose the pivoting of the securing tongue with a very high torsional resistance. In this case, however, the coupling becomes very stiff both for coupling the corrugated tube and for a desired loosening of the corrugated tube.
The invention has for its object to provide a fastening coupling of the type specified so that they have an additional safeguard against unwanted loosening of the coupled corrugated pipe and / or an additional relief for the coupling of the corrugated pipe.
The achievement of the object according to the invention is specified in claims 1 and 2. The dependent claims relate to advantageous further refinements of the invention.
Embodiments of the invention are explained with reference to the drawings.

Fig.
9 shows a partial section on a larger scale along the line IX of FIG. 8.
The fastening coupling shown in Figs. 1 to 3 consists of a one-piece plastic, e.g. Manufactured by injection molding, essentially tubular sleeve 1. At its left end in FIGS. 1 and 3, the sleeve 1 has a threaded section 3 with an external thread 5, so that the sleeve 1 fits into an opening provided with an internal thread, e.g. a housing wall 4 (see Fig. 4) can be screwed. Flattenings 7 on the circumference of the sleeve 1 are used for attaching a screwing tool.
The right section in FIGS. 1 and 3 of the sleeve 1 serves to receive a corrugated tube or hose 21 (FIG. 4) which can be inserted through the open insertion 9 of the sleeve up to an inner stop shoulder 11. In the circumferential wall of the sleeve 1 delimiting the receiving section, a rectangular recess 13 is provided in each case at two opposite points. In each recess 13 a locking tongue 15 is arranged, which is made in one piece with the sleeve 1 and is connected approximately in its longitudinal center via two material bridges or webs 17 to the peripheral wall of the sleeve 1. The securing tongue 15 is shaped in such a way that it essentially completely fills the wall opening 13 and only a small gap remains between it and the edge of the opening 13 which is sufficient for the freedom of movement of the securing tongue 15.
The two material bridges or webs 17 serve as hinges which define a pivot axis extending tangentially to the sleeve 1, about which the securing tongue 15 can be pivoted, each web 17 being elastically deformed in torsion. The safety tongue 15 is constricted on both sides of each web 17 in such a way that the web 17 has a length sufficient for the elastic torsional deformation.
The securing tongue 15 is designed with respect to the pivot axis defined by the material bridges or webs 17 as a two-armed lever with two lever arms 15a and 15b. One lever arm 15a carries on its inside a rib-like locking projection 19 for engaging in a circumferential groove of the corrugated tube to be inserted into the sleeve. The other arm 15b of the securing tongue 15 serves as a pressure plate. If this pressure plate 15b is pressed inwards by hand, the lever arm 15a moves outwards with the locking projection 19, so that the corrugated tube is released and can be pulled out of the sleeve 1.
The securing tongue 15 and the webs 17 are designed such that in the relaxed, undeformed state of the webs 17, the securing tongue 15 is in the locking position shown in FIG. 1 and the locking projection 19 engages in the groove of the corrugated tube. In this locked position, the outer surface of the securing tongue 15 also runs flush with the outer contour of the sleeve 1. If the lever arm 15b is pressed inward, the webs 17 are elastically deformed in torsion, so that when the lever arm 15b is released, the securing tongue 15 springs back into its locked position.
Each of the webs 17 is exposed by the constrictions or incisions of the securing tongue 15 delimiting it to such a length that it is not only torsionally deformable but also bendable in the direction parallel to the axial direction of the coupling. As shown in the drawings, the length of each web 17, i.e. its extension transverse to the direction of the axis of the sleeve 1, significantly larger, preferably at least twice as large as its width parallel to the axis. If, as shown in FIG. 4, a tensile force acts on a corrugated tube 21 inserted into the coupling, the securing tongue 15 can shift in the recess 13 in the axial direction, the webs 17 being bent in the manner indicated.
As a result of this displacement of the securing tongue 15, a run-up slope 23 formed at the end of the lever arm 15a comes into contact with an edge web 25 of the sleeve 1 delimiting the recess 13. Through the interaction of the run-up slope 23 with the edge web 25, the lever arm 15a with the locking projection 19 becomes inward pressed so that the corrugated tube 21 is held more and more firmly with increasing tensile force.
5 shows, in an enlarged longitudinal section, the end of the securing tongue 15 with the run-up bevel 23. The edge web 25 of the sleeve which cooperates with this can likewise have a small bevel 27 on its inner edge. 5 also shows an asymmetrically shaped locking projection 19, the end face of which faces the open end of the sleeve is turned away or beveled in order to facilitate the insertion of the corrugated tube, while the other end face runs radially.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3, the lever arm 15a of the securing tongue 15 carrying the locking projection 19 faces the open insertion end 9 of the sleeve. 6 shows a modified embodiment in which the lever arm 15a provided with the locking projection 19 is directed away from the open insertion end 9 and towards the stop shoulder 11. This arrangement, in conjunction with a corresponding design of the inclined surfaces of the locking projection 19, has the advantage that a tensile force acting on the inserted corrugated tube exerts such a torque on the securing tongue 15 that the locking projection 19 is pressed more firmly into the groove of the corrugated tube. First of all, this can be achieved by an inclined surface 23 min at the end of the arm 15b, which is chamfered inwards and runs up against the edge web 25 of the sleeve when the securing tongue 15 is moved.
The coupling can also be supplemented by a sealing ring which seals the end of the inserted corrugated hose against the sleeve 1. Such a sealing ring can be arranged in particular in the area of the stop shoulder 11 and either inserted loosely into the sleeve 1 or firmly connected to it. Such a sealing arrangement is known to the person skilled in the art and is therefore not shown in the drawings.
The embodiment according to FIGS. 7 to 9 largely corresponds to the previously described embodiment, and the parts corresponding to it, which are provided with the same reference numerals, are not explained again below.
In this embodiment, a recess 31 is provided in the pressure plate 15b, in which an arm 33 is integrally formed, which is directed rearward in the axial direction and carries an inner projection 35 at its end. The inner projection 35 protrudes into the receiving cross-section with diameter Dn of the corrugated tube and is therefore pressed outwards by the inserted corrugated tube end. It generates a torque about the axis of rotation formed by the webs 17, which presses the front arm 15a with the locking projection 19 into the groove of the corrugated tube.
The arm 15a of the locking tongue 15, which bears the locking projection 19, is T-shaped in plan view, as can be seen in FIG. 8, so that it forms two shoulders 37 directed towards the rear. These shoulders are opposed by inwardly projecting projections 39 from the side walls of the recess 13, each of which is provided with a run-up slope 41 (FIG. 9) which is directed towards the stop shoulders 37. The locking projection 19 and the front end face of the arm 15a have, as can also be seen from FIG. 9, a bevel or rounding opposite to the insertion direction.
When a corrugated tube is inserted into the coupling, the corrugated tube end first comes to rest on the front side of the locking projection 19 and exerts a force which is both radially outward and axially directed thereon and thus on the securing tongue 15. The locking tongue 15 thereby moves with bending deformation of the material webs 17 in the axial direction to the rear, as a result of which the abutment shoulders 37 come to rest against the run-up bevels 41 of the projections 39 and are pressed radially outward therefrom, so that the locking projection 19 can avoid the corrugated pipe, such as shown in dashed lines in Fig. 9.
If the corrugated tube is completely pushed in, no more axial force is exerted on the securing tongue 15, and this is pressed axially forward again by the restoring force of the material webs 17, so that the stop shoulders 37 come free from the projections 39 and the locking projection 19 into a groove Corrugated pipe can intervene.
When pulling on the coupled corrugated pipe, the securing tongue is moved axially forward so that its front edge comes to bear against a slope 23 on the front boundary wall of the recess 13, as a result of which the locking projection is pressed more radially inwards against the corrugated pipe.
Changes and configurations of the described embodiment are possible within the scope of the invention. In particular, the number of locking tongues can be changed. The securing tongue can also have two or more locking projections for engaging in adjacent grooves in the corrugated tube.
