La presente invenzione si riferisce ad una confezione per prodotti alimentari secondo il preambolo della rivendicazione 1.
L'invenzione è stata sviluppata con particolare, seppure non esclusiva, attenzione al possibile impiego per il confezionamento di prodotti alimentari quali prodotti dolciari.
In tale contesto è corrente riscontrare la presenza di elementi di confezione allungati i quali possono essere costituiti o direttamente dai prodotti stessi (ad esempio, nel caso in cui i prodotti siano costituiti da grissini, biscotti di forma allungata, bastoncini di sostanze alimentari qualsiasi, ecc., eventualmente ricoperti di cioccolato o di altre sostanze alimentari, ed avvolti in rispettivi involucri) ovvero da sotto-elementi della confezione, quali ad esempio involucri tubolari, eventualmente dei tipo flow-pack, in ciascuno dei quali si trova una pluralità di prodotti elementari quali ad esempio praline, cioccolatini, ecc. Esemplificativa di quest'ultima situazione è la confezione correntemente adottata per le praline vendute con il nome commerciale di "GIOTTO" o di "TONUS" da società dei gruppo Ferrero.
In questo caso ciascun elemento allungato è costituito da un involucro tubolare dei tipo flow-pack al cui interno si trova un certo numero di praline sferiche.
Nel realizzare delle confezioni dei tipo sopra specificato è necessario conciliare diverse esigenze che, di solito, sono in contrasto almeno marginale fra loro.
In primo luogo, il fatto che il prodotto sia abbastanza esposto e visibile nella confezione costituisce di solito un elemento dì attrazione per il potenziale acquirente e consumatore. E' però necessario evitare che la visibilità dei prodotto si traduca in una eccessiva facilità di manomissione delle confezioni, con possibile sottrazione dei prodotto, nei luoghi di vendita quali supermercati, ecc.
In secondo luogo c'è una crescente tendenza, nel settore alimentare ed in quello dolciario in particolare, a conferire ai prodotti - ed in particolare alla confezione - un aspetto, per così dire, artigianale. Dall'altra parte, è necessario che il prodotto stesso possa essere trattato e confezionato in modo del tutto automatico, alle cadenze molto elevate previste dai processi di produzione industriale.
Esistono poi tutta una serie di esigenze collaterali, quale quella di far sì che la confezione possa essere facilmente aggregabile con confezioni identiche così da poter essere facilmente imballata nel trasferimento dal luogo di produzione verso i luoghi di immagazzinamento e di vendita, assicurando nei contempo che, una volta estratta dall'imballo, la confezione possa essere esposta anche singolarmente, senza rischio che essa cada accidentalmente dai piani di esposizione, ecc. Ancora, si vuole far sì che, sulla confezione possano essere riprodotte con facilità, oltre alle informazioni (composizione, luogo di produzione, data di scadenza, ecc.) imposte dalle normative, anche figure, simboli e scritte destinati a rendere più attraente la confezione stessa.
La presente invenzione si prefigge lo scopo di fornire una confezione in grado di soddisfare in modo eccellente a tutte le esigenze sopra richiamate.
Secondo la presente invenzione, tale scopo viene raggiunto grazie ad una confezione secondo la rivendicazione 1. Vantaggiosi sviluppi dell'invenzione formano oggetto delle rivendicazioni dipendenti 2 a 10.
L'invenzione verrà ora descritta, a puro titolo di esempio non limitativo, con riferimento ai disegni annessi, nei quali:
- la fig. 1 è una vista in prospettiva, parzialmente esplosa, di una possibile forma di attuazione di una confezione secondo l'invenzione,
- la fig. 2 è una vista in elevazione laterale di una confezione secondo l'invenzione, secondo una prima variante di attuazione, e
- la fig. 3 illustra la confezione della fig. 2 in posizione di chiusura.
Nei disegni è indicata nel complesso con 1 (con riferimento ad entrambe le varianti di attuazione illustrate - che differiscono peraltro fra loro in riferimento soltanto ad alcuni elementi) una confezione per prodotti alimentari quali, ad esempio, prodotti dolciari.
I suddetti prodotti i questione si presentano, nell'ambito della confezione, sotto forma di elementi allungati 2.
Così come già indicato nella parte introduttiva della presente descrizione i suddetti elementi allungati possono essere costituiti:
- sia dai prodotti alimentari per se stessi (ad esempio grissini, biscotti di forma allungata, bastoncini di sostanza alimentare qualsiasi, ecc., eventualmente avvolti in rispettivi involucri,
- sia da una pluralità di prodotti alimentari (quali praline, cioccolatini, ecc.) che - di per sé - non hanno una forma allungata ma sono raccolti all'interno di una rispettiva confezione (che può essere definita sub-confezione, nel presente contesto) di forma allungata: ad esempio, un involucro tubolare dei tipo flow-pack all'interno dei quale si trova un certo numero di praline sferiche.
Gli elementi allungati 2 sono raccolti fra loro in un fastello tenuto insieme da una fascetta 3 di materiale termoretraibile ...
La fascetta 3 viene calzata sugli elementi allungati 2 in condizione estesa (e secondo criteri di per sé noti) e poi esposta a moderato riscaldamento (anche qui secondo criteri noti) così da determinarne la termoretrazione ed il conseguente serraggio intimo agli elementi 2.
Il tutto facendo in modo che l'azione di serraggio esercitata dalla fascetta 3 sugli elementi 2 sia allo stesso tempo salda, onde evitare che singoli elementi 2 possano essere sfilati dai fastello (così come potrebbe accadere, ad esempio, in un luogo di vendita) e delicata, così da non produrre un danneggiamento degli elementi 2 e dei relativi prodotti che sono di solito abbastanza delicati.
Intorno alla fascetta 3 (con l'intento principale di occultarla rispetto all'esterno) viene calzata una bandella 4 di materiale in foglio, quale cartoncino, comprendente una parte di ansa 5, destinata ad avvolgere i prodotti 2 tenuti insieme dalla fascetta 3, ed una appendice radiale 6, destinata a formare una sorta di cartello per l'apposizione di scritte, figure, ecc. sulla confezione.
In modo più preciso, nell'ambito della parte di ansa 5, sono distinguibili:
- un piano di fondo 5a, sui quale sono destinati ad appoggiare gli elementi 2, e
- due guance laterali incurvate 5b e 5c destinate, per così dire, ad abbracciare od avvolgere gli elementi 2.
Con 7 sono indicate gocce (o eventualmente strisce) di materiale adesivo, ad esempio adesivo dei tipo "hot-melt", destinate a collegare il piano di fondo 5a con la fascetta 3 così da evitare che gli elementi 2 serrati dalla fascetta 3 possano essere sfilati dalla bandella 4.
Per realizzare la chiusura della bandella 4 intorno agli elementi 2 serrati dalla fascetta 3 è possibile ricorrere a soluzioni diverse.
Ad esempio, la soluzione illustrata nella fig. 1 prevede la predisposizione, nella zona di raccordo fra la guancia 5c e l'appendice 6 da essa diramantesi, di una feritoia orizzontale 8 in cui si inserisce una appendice a linguetta 9 estendentesi a partire dalla guancia 5b.
Nella fase finale di confezionamento, la linguetta 9 viene introdotta nella feritoia 8 e poi richiusa in posizione di contatto con l'interposizione di elementi adesivi (non illustrati) o a ridosso dell'appendice radiale 6 (sulla faccia della stessa che risulta posteriore rispetto al punto di osservazione della fig. 1) o - preferibilmente - a ridosso della guancia posteriore 5c della parte di ansa 5.
Nella variante cui fa riferimento la fig. 2 è invece previsto che l'appendice 6 sia sdoppiata, essendo costituita da due appendici complementari 6a, 6b diramantisi, rispettivamente, dalla guancia 5b e dalla guancia 5c della parte di ansa 5.
In questo caso, la chiusura della confezione si ottiene così come schematicamente illustrato nella fig. 3 portando le due appendici 6a e 6b in contatto fra loro e collegandole quindi fra loro ad esempio con l'interposizione di punti o strisce di materiale adesivo 9 applicate sulle superfici mutuamente affacciate o tramite mezzi di collegamento equivalenti.
Va peraltro precisato che anche nella forma di attuazione di cui alla fig. 1 la singola appendice 6 può essere in realtà costituita da due fogli sovrapposti dello stesso materiale costituente la bandella 4 nei suo complesso. Il fatto di realizzare l'appendice 6 come sovrapposizione di due fogli presenta il vantaggio di conferire alla stessa una certa qual rigidità e consistenza.
Nel complesso quindi la vista in elevazione della fig. 3 può essere vista, sotto questo aspetto, come rappresentativa tanto della forma di attuazione della fig. 1, tanto della forma di attuazione della fig. 2.
Quale che sia la soluzione adottata, la predisposizione della bandella 4 come sbozzo piano di materiale in foglio, la sagomatura della stessa (con l'eventuale predisposizione della feritoia 8 e della linguetta 9) e l'applicazione delle gocce o strisce di adesivo 7 e 9, nonché la chiusura intorno alla fascetta 3 si realizzano secondo soluzioni di per sé note, che non richiedono di essere illustrate in questa sede.
Secondo una caratteristica preferenziale dell'invenzione, le due guance 5b e 5c non hanno pari lunghezza (rilevata in senso circonferenziale rispetto all'estensione della bandella 4). La guancia 5b (destinata a costituire di solito la faccia anteriore della confezione) presenta una lunghezza - rilevata nel senso della estensione circonferenziale della bandella 4 - almeno leggermente superiore rispetto alla guancia 5c (destinata a definire la faccia posteriore della confezione). L'effetto complessivo di tale diversa lunghezza è quello di far sì che la zona di collegamento tra le estremità delle guance 5b e 5c opposte al piano di fondo 5a risulti collocata in posizione eccentrica rispetto all'ideale piano verticale che attraversa in posizione mediana il piano di fondo 5a stesso, nella direzione di estensione degli elementi 2.
In altre parole, una volta che la bandella 4 è chiusa intorno agli elementi 2, la parte di ansa 5 assume un andamento ad ogiva o a goccia, almeno leggermente dissimmetrico con la rispettiva parte di apice spostata verso la guancia 5c ossia - tipicamente - verso la parte posteriore della confezione. Ciò fa sì che anche l'appendice radiale 6 risulti spostata all'indietro rispetto alla confezione nel suo complesso, ossia collocata in posizione "baricentricamente eccentrica" rispetto alla confezione.
La confezione 1 può dunque essere appoggiata su un piano di esposizione e di vendita in corrispondenza dei piano di fondo 5a con la possibilità di rimanere stabilmente in tale posizione di appoggio, assicurando comunque il fatto che qualunque sollecitazione applicata in senso antero -posteriore sulla confezione stessa (ad esempio per effetto dell'addossamento ad altre e di altre confezioni analoghe) comporti al più un allontanamento dalla posizione di equilibrio nel senso di una tendenza a ricadere verso il lato posteriore (guancia 5c).
Quando una fila di confezioni secondo l'invenzione viene disposta sul piano di esposizione con la guancia 5b rivolta in avanti (ossia verso il lato di esposizione, ovvero verso il lato da cui la confezione viene osservata) le confezioni stesse tendono ai più a ricadere all'indietro, o meglio, ad appoggiarsi ciascuna sulla confezione immediatamente adiacente sul lato posteriore; per cui, proprio per effetto dell'addossamento della fila, le confezioni stesse mantengono una corretta posizione eretta o sostanzialmente eretta.
Da quanto precede risulta evidente come una confezione secondo l'invenzione soddisfa in modo eccellente a tutte le esigenze esposte nella parte introduttiva della presente descrizione.
In particolare, in una confezione secondo l'invenzione, i prodotti (ossia gli elementi allungati 2) risultano per buona parte visibili (in quanto tanto la fascetta 3 quanto la bandella 4 ricoprono soltanto su una parte dell'estensione longitudinale dei fastello di elementi 2). Allo stesso tempo, tali elementi non possono essere facilmente sfilati dalla confezione, in quanto serrati dalla fascetta 3 la quale a sua volta è collegata, ad esempio tramite i punti di colla 7, alla bandella 4.
In secondo luogo, pur prestandosi in modo eccellente alla fabbricazione in ambito industriale, la confezione secondo l'invenzione conserva una certa similarità di fondo con talune confezioni tipiche della produzione artigianale.
Ancora, tanto le guance 5b, 5c quanto il cartello formato dall'appendice 6 offrono una ampia superficie per l'apposizione di scritte, diciture, simboli, figure di presentazione dei prodotto. Ancora, la conformazione complessivamente asimmetrica della parte di ansa 5, in unione alla presenza dei piano di fondo 5a, conferiscono alla confezione nel suo complesso una dote di stabilità, evitandone l'accidentale ricaduta in avanti. Tutto questo senza ostacolare in alcun modo la possibilità di aggregare una pluralità di confezioni secondo l'invenzione in imballaggi muitipli in vista dei trasferimento verso i luoghi di immagazzinamento e di vendita.
Naturalmente, fermo restando il principio dell'invenzione, i particolari di realizzazione e le forme di attuazione potranno essere ampiamente variati rispetto a quanto descritto ed illustrato, senza per questo uscire dall'ambito della presente invenzione.
The present invention relates to a package for food products according to the preamble of claim 1.
The invention was developed with particular, though not exclusive, attention to the possible use for the packaging of food products such as confectionery products.
In this context, it is common to find the presence of elongated packaging elements which can be constituted either directly by the products themselves (for example, in the case in which the products consist of breadsticks, elongated biscuits, sticks of any food substances, etc. ., possibly covered with chocolate or other food substances, and wrapped in respective wrappers) or by sub-elements of the package, such as for example tubular wraps, possibly of the flow-pack type, in each of which there is a plurality of elementary products such as pralines, chocolates, etc. An example of the latter situation is the packaging currently used for pralines sold under the trade name "GIOTTO" or "TONUS" by companies of the Ferrero group.
In this case each elongated element is constituted by a tubular casing of the flow-pack type inside which there is a certain number of spherical pralines.
In making packages of the type specified above, it is necessary to reconcile different needs which are usually at least marginal in contrast to each other.
Firstly, the fact that the product is quite exposed and visible in the package usually constitutes an element of attraction for the potential buyer and consumer. However, it is necessary to avoid that the visibility of the product translates into an excessive ease of tampering with the packaging, with possible removal of the product, in places of sale such as supermarkets, etc.
Secondly, there is a growing trend, in the food sector and in the confectionery sector in particular, to give the products - and in particular the packaging - an aspect, so to speak, of craftsmanship. On the other hand, it is necessary that the product itself can be treated and packaged in a completely automatic way, at the very high rates foreseen by the industrial production processes.
Then there are a whole series of collateral needs, such as that of ensuring that the package can be easily aggregated with identical packages so that it can be easily packed in the transfer from the place of production to the places of storage and sale, while ensuring that, once removed from the packaging, the package can also be exposed individually, without the risk of it accidentally falling off the display surfaces, etc. Furthermore, we want to ensure that, on the packaging they can be easily reproduced, in addition to the information (composition, place of production, expiry date, etc.) imposed by the regulations, also figures, symbols and writings intended to make the packaging more attractive same.
The present invention has the aim of providing a package capable of satisfying in an excellent way all the above mentioned needs.
According to the present invention, this object is achieved thanks to a package according to claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention form the subject of the dependent claims 2 to 10.
The invention will now be described, purely by way of non-limiting example, with reference to the attached drawings, in which:
- fig. 1 is a partially exploded perspective view of a possible embodiment of a package according to the invention,
- fig. 2 is a side elevation view of a package according to the invention, according to a first variant embodiment, and
- fig. 3 shows the package of fig. 2 in the closed position.
In the drawings, overall 1 indicates (with reference to both of the illustrated embodiments - which differ from each other in reference to only a few elements) a package for food products such as, for example, confectionery products.
The aforementioned products are presented, in the package, in the form of elongated elements 2.
As already indicated in the introductory part of the present description, the aforesaid elongated elements can be constituted:
- both from food products for themselves (for example breadsticks, elongated biscuits, sticks of any food substance, etc., possibly wrapped in respective wraps,
- both from a plurality of food products (such as pralines, chocolates, etc.) which - in themselves - do not have an elongated shape but are collected inside a respective package (which can be defined as sub-packaging, in this context ) of elongated shape: for example, a tubular wrapping of the flow-pack type inside which there is a certain number of spherical pralines.
The elongated elements 2 are collected together in a fastener held together by a band 3 of heat-shrinkable material ...
The band 3 is fitted on the elongated elements 2 in an extended condition (and according to criteria per se known) and then exposed to moderate heating (also here according to known criteria) so as to determine its heat shrinkage and the consequent intimate tightening of the elements 2.
All this by ensuring that the clamping action exerted by the clamp 3 on the elements 2 is at the same time firm, in order to avoid that individual elements 2 can be removed from the fasteners (as could happen, for example, in a place of sale) and delicate, so as not to cause damage to the elements 2 and the relative products which are usually delicate enough.
Around the band 3 (with the main intent of concealing it from the outside) a band 4 of sheet material, such as cardboard, is fitted, comprising a part of loop 5, intended to wrap the products 2 held together by band 3, and a radial appendix 6, intended to form a sort of sign for the affixing of writings, figures, etc. on the packaging.
More precisely, within the loop part 5, the following are distinguishable:
- a bottom surface 5a, on which the elements 2 are intended to rest, and
- two curved side cheeks 5b and 5c intended, so to speak, to embrace or wrap the elements 2.
7 indicates drops (or possibly strips) of adhesive material, for example "hot-melt" type adhesive, intended to connect the bottom surface 5a with the band 3 so as to prevent the elements 2 tightened by the band 3 from being removed from the band 4.
To achieve the closure of the band 4 around the elements 2 tightened by the band 3 it is possible to resort to different solutions.
For example, the solution shown in fig. 1 provides for the provision, in the connection area between the cheek 5c and the appendage 6 branching from it, of a horizontal slit 8 into which a tab appendage 9 is inserted, extending starting from the cheek 5b.
In the final packaging phase, the tab 9 is introduced into the slot 8 and then closed again in a position of contact with the interposition of adhesive elements (not shown) or close to the radial appendage 6 (on the face of the same which is posterior to the point view of Fig. 1) or - preferably - close to the rear cheek 5c of the loop part 5.
In the variant to which fig. 2, on the other hand, it is provided that the appendix 6 is doubled, being constituted by two complementary appendages 6a, 6b branching, respectively, from the cheek 5b and from the cheek 5c of the part of the handle 5.
In this case, the closure of the package is obtained as schematically illustrated in fig. 3 bringing the two appendages 6a and 6b in contact with each other and therefore connecting them to each other for example with the interposition of points or strips of adhesive material 9 applied on the mutually facing surfaces or by equivalent connecting means.
It should also be noted that also in the embodiment shown in fig. 1 the single appendix 6 can actually consist of two overlapping sheets of the same material constituting the strip 4 as a whole. The fact of realizing the appendix 6 as an overlap of two sheets has the advantage of giving it a certain rigidity and consistency.
Overall, therefore, the elevation view of fig. 3 can be seen, in this aspect, as representative of the embodiment of fig. 1, much of the embodiment of fig. 2.
Whatever the solution adopted, the preparation of the strip 4 as a flat blank of sheet material, the shaping of the same (with the possible preparation of the slot 8 and the tongue 9) and the application of the drops or strips of adhesive 7 and 9, as well as the closure around the band 3 are carried out according to solutions known per se, which do not need to be illustrated here.
According to a preferential feature of the invention, the two cheeks 5b and 5c do not have the same length (measured circumferentially with respect to the extension of the band 4). The cheek 5b (usually intended to constitute the front face of the package) has a length - measured in the sense of the circumferential extension of the band 4 - at least slightly greater than the cheek 5c (intended to define the rear face of the package). The overall effect of this different length is to ensure that the connection area between the ends of the cheeks 5b and 5c opposite the bottom plane 5a is placed in an eccentric position with respect to the ideal vertical plane that crosses the plane in the median position bottom 5a itself, in the direction of extension of the elements 2.
In other words, once the band 4 is closed around the elements 2, the loop part 5 assumes an ogive or teardrop shape, at least slightly asymmetrical with the respective apex part moved towards the cheek 5c or - typically - towards the back of the package. This also causes the radial appendix 6 to be moved backwards with respect to the package as a whole, that is to say, positioned in a "barycentrically eccentric" position with respect to the package.
The package 1 can therefore be placed on a display and sales surface in correspondence with the bottom surface 5a with the possibility of remaining stably in this resting position, ensuring in any case that any stress applied in the antero-rear direction on the package itself (for example due to the effect of being attached to others and other similar packs) it involves at most a departure from the equilibrium position in the sense of a tendency to fall towards the rear (cheek 5c).
When a row of packages according to the invention is placed on the display surface with the cheek 5b facing forward (i.e. towards the display side, or towards the side from which the package is observed), the packages themselves tend to fall back to the back, or rather, each to rest on the package immediately adjacent to the rear; for this reason, precisely due to the effect of the row, the packs themselves maintain a correct upright or substantially upright position.
From the foregoing it is evident that a package according to the invention satisfies in an excellent way all the requirements set out in the introductory part of the present description.
In particular, in a package according to the invention, the products (i.e. the elongated elements 2) are largely visible (since both the band 3 and the band 4 cover only a part of the longitudinal extension of the straps of elements 2 ). At the same time, these elements cannot be easily removed from the package, since they are tightened by the clamp 3 which in turn is connected, for example by means of the glue points 7, to the strap 4.
Secondly, although it lends itself excellently to manufacturing in the industrial field, the package according to the invention retains a certain basic similarity with certain typical packages of artisan production.
Furthermore, both the cheeks 5b, 5c and the sign formed by appendix 6 offer a large surface for the affixing of writings, words, symbols, product presentation figures. Furthermore, the overall asymmetrical conformation of the part of loop 5, in union with the presence of the bottom surface 5a, gives the package as a whole a dowry of stability, avoiding its accidental relapse forward. All this without in any way obstructing the possibility of aggregating a plurality of packs according to the invention in multiple packs in view of the transfer to the storage and sales places.
Of course, without prejudice to the principle of the invention, the details of construction and the embodiments may be widely varied with respect to what has been described and illustrated, without thereby departing from the scope of the present invention.
