Abstract

The watch case (1), preferably manufactured from sintered ceramic, comprises a centre part (3) and a base (2). The centre part and the base are preferably produced in one piece. The watch glass (6) rests on a sealing ring (5). A holding member (9) which holds the watch glass (6) is inserted in a vertical bore (16). A screw (17), which is inserted from below into the same vertical bore, is screwed into the foot (11) of the holding member (9). A fastening pin (22) for the wrist strap is let into a horizontal bore (21). The locking screw (17) also extends through a bore (24), provided with an internal thread (23), in the fastening pin. The fastening devices are situated on the 6h-12h axis. The screw (17) can be used to fasten both the fastening element (22) for the watch wrist strap and the holding member (9) for the watch glass (6). <IMAGE>
