Abstract

The present invention relates to a device formed by two units for selective administration of a medicinal product through the skin, under the influence of an iontophoretic or electro-osmotic force. According to the invention, this device comprises a first unit (202) in which are arranged a programmable control unit (212) associated with an energy source (213), and a second unit (201) comprising an electrode assembly (204, 204') containing the said medicinal product and having a set of active electrodes (204a) arranged inside a surface which comes into contact with the skin but is insulated therefrom, this surface defining an opposite electrode (204'), the second unit (201) being capable of being assembled with the first unit (202) so as to select a programme which is applicable to the said medicinal product and, when the programme is triggered, it causes the selective administration of the medicinal product from the electrode assembly (204, 204') to the skin. <IMAGE>
