Fig. 3 eine Ansicht eines Gliedes des Kabelkanals in Fig. 1,
The present invention relates to a flexible cable duct.
Flexible cable ducts are known which can be laid in two directions. When laying these cable ducts, the laying length is determined, a cable duct with the required length is provided, and then the cable duct is installed, the fastening elements being covered in the majority of cases by the cables or wires laid in the cable duct. These cable ducts have the particular disadvantage that new cable ducts are provided when the cable run changes, which requires a great deal of effort.
The invention has for its object to provide a flexible cable duct that can be adapted to the new conditions without any special effort when changing the cable run and the associated change in direction and / or length.
This object is achieved according to the invention with the characterizing features of patent claim 1.
The advantages that can be achieved with the invention can essentially be seen in the fact that
- The routing of the cable duct can be changed without detaching it from the fixed points and that
- The changes are easy and time-saving to make without special tools.
It is advantageous if the pivot axes of the links arranged in the row are arranged in parallel, so that the cable duct forms a stable support plane for the cables.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the link has a G-like profile, a section designed as a flange being provided with the hinge parts, so that at least one catchy channel can be put together from the links. For multi-aisle channels, the links can have a double-G-like profile with a section which represents a common flange and which is provided with the hinge parts.
The invention is explained below with reference to the accompanying drawing.
Show it:
1 is a plan view of a section of a cable duct according to the invention,
2 is a section shown in section between two cable duct members,
3 is a view of a link of the cable duct in FIG. 1,
Fig. 4 is a plan view of the link in Fig. 3, and
Fig. 5 is a view of a second embodiment of a link.
As shown in FIG. 1, the cable duct for electrical cables consists of links 1, which are arranged in a row, and organs 2, by means of which the individual links 1 are detachably connected and pivotable about an axis. From Fig. 2 it can be seen that the links 1 are connected via a hinge arrangement and the organ is a hinge pin 3, which is provided with a semicircular head 4, so that the hinge pin can be removed without special aids. The end member of the cable duct can be fastened to a fixed point 5 (FIG. 1) and also with a hinge pin. The fixed point can be formed by the fixed cable duct. It is pointed out that other fastening means can also be provided.
3 and 4, a single link of the cable duct is shown. The link 1 has a double G-shaped cross section, with reference to an axis of symmetry 7, the flange 8 being designed as a holding section for the link 1. This link 1 defines two receiving spaces 9, 10 which are continuously open on the end faces 11, 12 and from the outside, i.e. here from above, are accessible to the cables and wires to be laid loop-free, i.e. without removing existing plugs or couplings, which is to be regarded as particularly advantageous in the cable duct according to the invention. Furthermore, individual links can be removed or added to it without having to disconnect the electrical connection.
As already mentioned, the links are connected to one another via a hinge arrangement. For this purpose, the hinge parts 13, 14 are formed on the holding section 8 such that the hinge axis or pivot axis 15 lies outside the receiving spaces 9, 10. This arrangement enables the laying of a cable duct in an arch. For the sake of completeness, it should also be pointed out that the one hinge part 13 is formed on one end face of the link and the complementary hinge part 14 is formed on the other end face of the link, as can be seen from FIG. 2.
Links 16 according to the second exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 5 are used to produce a catchy cable duct. The installation of such a single-channel cable duct is carried out in the same way as in the two-gang cable duct described above.
The cable duct described allows a cable connection between two fixed points 5, the cable duct forming a stable support plane for the cables, but being flexibly pivotable in this plane. It can be used in particular for the cable routing between individual office furniture units, which can be flexibly converted without having to create new cabling.
