The tip of the piston has an aperture (9) through which the dosed material can be drawn in and expelled, and it can be made from an elastic material expelling solid prods.. USE/ADVANTAGE - Oral dose of medicaments in liq. or solid form.

Description

   La fig. 4 représente deux exemples de pinces d'arrêt permettant la programmation et la variation de la course du piston dans le cylindre;

  The invention relates to a device for dosing a liquid product, in pellets or in capsules.

  In the practice of human and veterinary medicine, in particular, where it is absolutely necessary to aspirate and deliver variable amounts of medicated liquids, many devices are used, syringes, pipettes, dispensers, dropper, fitted with devices allowing to vary the stroke of the pistons and, consequently, the quantity of liquid sucked.

  Most of these devices are based on shoulders inside or outside the cylinders and allowing the pistons to be moved manually; some products are accompanied by graduated glass tubes fitted with rubber tanks to facilitate the suction and expulsion of the liquid; some laboratory devices are operated and regulated by electronic controls.

  These devices are very simple or very sophisticated. They require great precision and excellent memory, qualities which inexperienced and physically impaired people are rarely capable of.

  The invention proposes to remedy these drawbacks and make available to patients who need to ingest a certain number of drops or milliliters of medicated liquids, a simple device, of easy handling, allowing them to program the quantity of medicament. that they wish to withdraw from a bottle and which can be operated with one hand without effort, and without requiring them to count the drops or verify the measurements recorded on the walls of ordinary syringes and pipettes.

  The device which is the subject of the invention defined in claim 1 is also intended for veterinary medicine, the difficulties of which are known in administering to animals liquid or solid medicaments without their being able to regurgitate them.

  The invention is set out below, in more detail, with the aid of drawings representing an embodiment.

   Fig. 1 is a sectional view of the device.
   Fig. 2 is a front view of the device.
   Fig. 3 is a front view of the device on which the cylinder 3 has been replaced by the part 11 intended to allow the gripping and the ejection of the tablets, lozenges, capsules and other solid drugs usually used in veterinary medicine.
   Fig. 4 shows two examples of clamps for programming and varying the stroke of the piston in the cylinder;

   other stop means such as clips, rings, pins can be used to delimit the stroke of the piston in the cylinder.
   Fig. 5 shows the piston attached to the stopper clamp by means of a plastic wire molded simultaneously and making it possible to reduce the manufacture of the device to two single elements.

  In fig. 1 and 2 we see the device composed of a piston 1 provided with a flange 2 sliding in a graduated cylinder 3, the stroke of the piston being delimited by the position of the clamp 4 and the whole being held in place by the spring of detent 8. The cylinder 3 is provided, in its upper part, with slots 7 perpendicular to the axis of the piston 1 to allow programming and variation of the stroke of the piston 1 in the cylinder 3.

   The programming is changed by moving the clamp 4 and inserting it into another slot 7, the quantity of liquid being determined by the stroke of the piston 1 abutting on the bottom of the cylinder 3, on the side of the orifice. outlet 9, on the one hand, and through the abutment of the collar 2 against the clamp 4. A graduation 10 is provided to allow the choice of the quantity of liquid to be withdrawn and administered.

  In fig. 3 note the replacement of the cylinder 3 by a variant 11 of the same cylinder at the base of which a notch 12 has been arranged to allow the administration of solid substances to the animals. The drugs being held by pinching, it is enough to propel, by means of the piston 1, the solid substances in the mouth of the animal.
