A Schwenkachse für 3.
The invention relates to an electrical device plug device according to the preamble of claim 1.
In principle, any type of "circuit", such as a fuse (s), voltage selector, switch, etc., can be provided in the circuit compartment of such a device, which can only be achieved if there is no plug part in the plug compartment.
In the case of a device connector described in CH-A5 607 366 and in DE-A1 2 707 442, a fuse drawer is locked in the circuit compartment in such a way that it can only be lifted out of the empty connector compartment with a screwdriver, but then removed completely. However, with the fuse drawer removed, a plug-in part can be inserted into the plug-in compartment without first having to close the circuit compartment again. so that the contacts in the circuit part can be touched when the lock is open. There is therefore insufficient contact security.
A similar connector is set out in GB-A 2 098 008. Here too, a fuse drawer is provided in the circuit compartment so that it can only be lifted out from the empty plug-in compartment. The safety drawer cannot be removed from the housing and has a tongue that rises in the plug compartment when the drawer is pulled out. However, with the drawer still partially open, you can still insert a plug-in part so far into the pocket that contact is made with the plug-in compartment contacts. The contacts in the circuit section are therefore not protected against accidental contact.
In the case of an appliance connector as set forth in EP-A1 0 120 163, the circuit compartment is closed, which can only be removed from the empty connector compartment. However, with the closure removed, a plug-in part can be inserted into the plug-in compartment without first having to close the circuit compartment again, so that the contacts in the circuit part can be touched when the closure is open. There is therefore insufficient contact security.
In a device connector set forth in US Pat. No. 3,965,397, fuse holders are arranged laterally in the plug-in compartment at an angle of ninety degrees such that their closures can only be removed when there is no plug-in part in the plug-in compartment. However, with the lock removed, a plug-in part can be inserted into the plug-in compartment without having to close the lock again beforehand, so that the contacts in the fuse holder (it represents the circuit part here) can be touched when the lock is open. There is therefore insufficient contact security.
In the case of a device plug as described in US Pat. No. 3,147,056, the closure of the circuit compartment can only be opened in its plane by moving (pushing or pivoting) if no plug part is inserted into the plug compartment by opening the closure. The open closure closes the plug compartment. The disadvantage of this is that the closure requires space on the side, which is not always available. Furthermore, the pivoting closure variant can be raised to such an extent that a wire can be used to get into the circuit compartment even when the plug-in part is inserted. So there is no absolute security against contact.
In the case of a device connector set out in DE-PS 2 122 382, the closure of the circuit compartment can be opened by moving it in its plane if there is no plug-in part in the connector compartment. Touch security is guaranteed, but the lock needs a lot of lateral space to open, which is not always available.
In the case of a device connector as described in DE-A1 3 127 306, GB-A 2 103 025 and US Pat. No. 4,467,398, the circuit compartment is provided with a closure, which can be opened only by an empty plug-in compartment, by one close to the plug-in compartment and the pivot axis parallel to the closure plane can be expended in the open position, the closure engaging in the plug-in compartment 60 in the course of opening and in its open position, so that no plug-in part can be inserted there. However, even when the plug-in part is plugged in, the closure can be bent open at its end remote from the pivot axis so that a wire can get into the circuit compartment; there is therefore no absolute security against contact.
The invention has for its object to avoid the disadvantages described and to create an electrical device plug device, which is also known in Switzerland as an appliance plug or appliance outlet, in an economically advantageous manner, which ensures absolute safety of contact and the most versatile design option.
To achieve this object, the device plug-in device defined in claim 1 is proposed.
In the device according to the invention, the closure can therefore only be opened when the plug-in compartment is empty, it only having to be moved to its top position by moving it along its lock level from the closed position before it is moved into the open position about a lock pivot axis that is close to the plug-in compartment and parallel to the lock level can swing open. Even in the top position, in which the closure further closes the circuit compartment, the closure already engages in or in front of the plug-in compartment. Therefore, the contact-forming insertion of a plug-in part into the plug-in compartment is prevented when the circuit compartment is still closed.
Because the circuit compartment cannot be energized from the plug-in compartment, complete, that is, absolute safety against contact is given. This is in contrast to the device connector mentioned above with reference to DE-A1 3 127 306, GB-A 2 103 025 and US Pat. No. 4,467,398. - It only requires a lot less space than the touch-proof slide locks of the device plug according to US Pat. No. 3,147,056 and DE-PS 2 122 382.
The device according to the invention is preferably designed such that the closure is mechanically locked in its closed position and can be unlocked by moving it into the cover position. This mechanical locking, which can be designed in various ways, increases the locking resistance against unauthorized opening attacks. - The safety against contact is therefore even better than the device connector mentioned above with reference to DE-A1 3 127 306, GB-A 2 103 025 and US Pat. No. 4,467,398.
In the above-mentioned preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, a mechanical lock is preferably provided in the vicinity of the plug-in compartment, in which the closure has at least one flattened axle body on one side, which in the closed position sits in a matching slot on the housing and cannot be rotated; when the closure has been brought into the cover position, the axle body comes out of the slot mentioned, so that the axle body can now be rotated and allows the closure to pivot about the pivot axis.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, a lock can be provided (in addition to the axle lock just mentioned or also without it), in which a locking lug provided on the housing overlaps a locking part on the lock in the closed position. If you provide this locking lug and the locking part on the side remote from the swivel axis, a very easy to implement, space-saving and secure mechanical locking results.
According to a preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, the closure on the housing is at least in one of its three layers, i.e. can be locked in the closed position and / or in the cover position and / or in the open position, which can be achieved, for example, by knobs and depressions, it usually being sufficient to evaluate the material elasticity for this purpose. Since such detents are well known, for example in plastics technology, there is no need to go into them here. The main advantage is that the closure has to be moved out of its respective position consciously and intentionally.
In a preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, e.g. in the case of a device plug, at least one fuse is arranged in the circuit compartment. However, other electrical parts such as switches, voltage selectors, control lamps and the like can also be provided there.
The invention is discussed below with reference to the purely schematic drawing, for example.

A swivel axis for 3.
B limit of 23 on its A facing side.
1 and 4 show the device 1 with the closure 3 in the closed position:
It can be seen that the closure at its end close to the pivot axis A extends exactly to the boundary B there (extended by dash-dotted lines in all figures) of the plug-in compartment 22; one could therefore insert the conventional plug-in part 10, drawn only over the plug-in compartment 22 in FIG. 4, into the plug-in compartment 22 in a suitable and contact-forming manner.
- The flattened axle body 30 provided on both sides of the closure 3 sits in the slots 27 of the housing 2 .; the locking part 31 is under the locking nose 29 and thereby locks the end of the closure 3 facing away from the pivot axis A.
The double mechanical locking thereby achieved supports the effect of a plug-in part which may be inserted into the plug-in compartment 22 (only indicated as 10 in FIG. 4 immediately before the plug-in). But one of these interlocks alone could be very useful and effective.
If you move the lock in the direction of the arrow drawn above it in Fig. 4, you get to the top layer, which is shown in Figs. 2 and 5:
- The closure 3 has entered the plug-in compartment 22 with its right side in the drawing. You can only carry out said shifting when the plug-in compartment 22 is empty. On the other hand, the closure 3 which has penetrated into the plug-in compartment 22 now prevents the plug-in part from being inserted.
- The closure 3 still closes the circuit compartment 25. In spite of being in an electrically de-energized state (it cannot be a plug-in part in the plug-in compartment 22), it is not possible to enter the circuit compartment 25.
The touch security is absolute.
- Both mechanical locks (27/30 and 29/31) are released and the closure 3 can now be pivoted up in the direction of the arrow shown in FIG. 5 by A into the open position shown in FIGS. 3 and 6. The axle beam 30 is in the round hole 28.
In the open position shown in FIGS. 3 and 6, the closure 3 projects almost entirely into the plug-in compartment 22, so that no plug-in part can be inserted. The safety against contact is also given now because the safety clips 5 cannot be energized.
Before you could insert a plug-in part into the plug-in compartment 22, you have to pivot the closure 3 back into the top position of FIGS. 2 and 5 and lock it in the closed position, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 4, because only then does the closure 3 the plug compartment 22 free. But then the closure cannot even be opened a bit if a plug-in part is in the plug-in compartment 22.
This ensures absolute contact security in the circuit compartment 25.
