Abstract

A special connector (4) is used to join the horizontal part (2) of a wooden cross to the vertical part (1) which consists of a short upper part and long lower part. The horizontal part has a recess (3) underneath shaped to hold the connector, which is a plate with a boss (5) each end holding a securing screw (6) accessible after assembly. The plate is first secured to the long lower vertical part by two other screws and the upper vertical part is secured to the horizontal part by long screws before the plate is fitted. ADVANTAGE - The horizontal part can be easily replaced, and the whole can be disassembled for transport.

  Grabkreuze aus Holz oder Metall mit Vertikalstab und einem mit Namensbeschriftung versehenen Querstab bestehen in der Regel aus einem festen Ganzen und nehmen beim Transport vor dem Aufstellen viel Raum in Anspruch, auch ist die Anbringung von eingravierten Beschriftungen sowie Verzierungen umständlich und zeitraubend. Ein weiterer Nachteil ist, dass der Versand und die Zustellung nicht zerlegter Grabkreuze per Post wegen der Sperrigkeit verunmöglicht ist. 



  Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Grabkreuz, welcher die Aufgabe zugrunde liegt, durch Zerlegung einen raumsparenden Transport zu ermöglichen. Die Verbindung des Vertikalstabes mit dem eine Namensbeschriftung aufweisenden Querstab soll auch bei hölzerner Beschaffenheit wetterfest und zuverlässig sein und bleiben. Eine weitere Aufgabe ist die Ausführung der Gravierungen von Namensbeschriftungen und Verzierungen zu erleichtern, wenn sich der Querstab im Zustand eines Einzelstückes befindet. 



  Erfindungsgemäss werden diese Aufgaben mit den im Kennzeichen des Patentanspruches 1 definierten Merkmalen gelöst. Vorteilhafte Ausführungen sind den Patentansprüchen 2 bis 6 entnehmbar. 



  Auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform dargestellt, und zwar zeigen:

  1 bezeichnet einen hölzernen, im Querschnitt viereckigen Vertikalstab und 2 einen ebenfalls hölzernen, in letzterem in Kreuzstellung gehalterten Querstab. Der Vertikalstab 1 besteht aus zwei Stabteilen 1 min , 1 min  min , die in einem Zwischenstand A zueinander stehen, in welchen der Querstab 2 eingefügt ist und an der einen der Aussenseiten mit konventionellen, nicht besonders gezeichneten Beschriftungen und Verzierungen versehen ist. In einer länglichen Ausnehmung 3 an der Unterseite des Querstabes 2 befindet sich ein aus Kunststoff, wie Nylon oder dergleichen bestehendes, bandförmiges Verbindungsglied 4. Dasselbe besitzt an seinen beiden Enden abstehende Aufnahmebuchsen 5, in welchen von unten in den Querstab 2 eingreifende Holzschrauben 6 eingebracht sind.

  Das Verbindungsglied 4 hat eine in Fig. 2 gezeigte längliche, ca. 1 mm tiefe Furche 7, welche durch einen Quersteg 8 unterteilt ist. Letzterer bewirkt mit den Aufnahmebuchsen 5 eine Versteifung des Verbindungsgliedes 4, welches in seiner Längsmittelpartie durch zwei durch  Löcher 9 gesteckte Holzschrauben 6 min  am oberen Ende des unteren Stabteiles 1 min  befestigt ist. 



  Gegenüber den Holzschrauben 6 min  befinden sich im Querstab 2 nicht durchgehende Löcher 10, in denen sich die Köpfe der Holzschrauben 6 min  min  befinden, welche von unten in den Stabteil 1 min  min ragen und mit diesem verschraubt sind. Indem das Verbindungsglied 4 durch Schrauben 6 min  am Querstab 2 fixiert und der letztere durch die Schrauben 6 min  min  mit dem oberen Stabteil 1 min  min fest verbunden sind, wird eine leicht herstellbare, zuverlässlge, lösbare Verbindung geschaffen, welche normale Wetterveränderungen schadlos erträgt. Die mögliche leichte Zerlegbarkeit ist von Bedeutung, um den sperrigen Kreuzzustand zu beheben und den Transport im zerlegten Zustand zu erleichtern und zu vereinfachen. Gravierte Beschriftungen und Verzierungen am Querstab 2 lassen sich bedeutend besser anbringen, wenn derselbe vom Vertikalstab 1 entfernt ist. 



   Nach der Variante gemäss Fig. 4 ist das Verbindungsglied 4 mit vier Löchern 9 versehen und der Quersteg 8 ist weggelassen.

  The present invention relates to a grave cross, which is based on the task of enabling space-saving transport by dismantling. The connection of the vertical bar with the cross bar with a name inscription should be and remain weatherproof and reliable even with a wooden structure. Another task is to facilitate the engraving of name inscriptions and decorations when the crossbar is in the condition of a single piece.



  According to the invention, these objects are achieved with the features defined in the characterizing part of patent claim 1. Advantageous designs can be found in claims 2 to 6.



  The subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment on the accompanying drawing, namely:

  1 denotes a wooden vertical bar, which is quadrangular in cross section, and 2 a wooden bar, likewise wooden, held in the latter in a cross position. The vertical rod 1 consists of two rod parts 1 min, 1 min min, which are at an intermediate position A, in which the cross rod 2 is inserted and on one of the outer sides is provided with conventional inscriptions and decorations, not specially drawn. In an elongated recess 3 on the underside of the crossbar 2 there is a band-shaped connecting member 4 consisting of plastic, such as nylon or the like. The same has protruding receptacles 5 at both ends, into which wood screws 6 engaging in the crossbar 2 are inserted from below .

  The connecting member 4 has an elongated, approximately 1 mm deep furrow 7 shown in FIG. 2, which is divided by a transverse web 8. The latter, with the receptacles 5, stiffens the connecting member 4, which is fastened for 1 min in its longitudinal central part by two wood screws 6 inserted through holes 9 at the upper end of the lower rod part 1 min.



  Compared to the wood screws 6 min there are non-through holes 10 in the cross bar 2, in which the heads of the wood screws are 6 min min, which protrude from below into the bar part for 1 min and are screwed to it. By fixing the connecting member 4 to the crossbar 2 by means of screws for 6 minutes and firmly connecting the latter to the upper bar part for 1 minute by means of the screws for 6 minutes, an easy to manufacture, reliable, detachable connection is created which can withstand normal weather changes without damage. The possibility of easy dismantling is important in order to eliminate the bulky cross state and to facilitate and simplify transport in the dismantled state. Engraved lettering and decorations on the cross bar 2 can be attached much better if the same is removed from the vertical bar 1.



   According to the variant according to FIG. 4, the connecting member 4 is provided with four holes 9 and the crossbar 8 is omitted.

Claims

1. grave cross, characterized in that the vertical bar (1) and the cross bar (2) are releasably connected to one another by a connecting member (4), such that by disassembly into individual pieces, the space required during transport is reduced and the labeling of the cross bar (2) relieved as a single piece.

2. grave cross according to claim 1, characterized in that the vertical rod (1) consists of two rod parts (1 min, 1 min min), which are at a distance (A) from each other, the cross bar (2) being inserted in the latter .

4. Grave cross according to claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the band-shaped connecting member (4) has stiffening bushes (5) at its ends, in which the screws (6) are located.
