The invention relates to an arc-shaped sliding gate, in particular for use as a garage door or hall gate, according to the preamble of claim 1.
Sliding gates are e.g. B. from DE-OS 3 447 402 and DE-GbmS 1 891 595 known in which the outer narrow plate elements are interconnected by connecting elements made of metal strips, smooth or profiled sheet metal or plastic sheets. In the single-layer gate according to DE-OS 3 447 402, continuous plastic sheets are provided from the height of the gate, on which vertical wooden profiled boards are placed at a distance from one another on the outside. The plastic sheets are flexible and translucent. The gate according to DE-GbmS 1 891 595 has a covering of narrow, relatively thick profile boards of approximately 6 cm to 10 cm in width, which engage in one another laterally with tongue and groove. Each decking board lies on the side of the adjacent board and is loosely connected to it by tongue and groove.
When the joints are bent in the form of steel bands, the tongue and groove remain loosely in a sliding connection.
Because of their design, these sliding gates or door leaves can be guided in a curve or on a circular arc, so that the door leaf can be moved laterally and deflected.
A disadvantage of this sliding gate, however, is that the z. B. a garage-facing side is not protected against fire, but only has horizontally or diagonally screwed elastic steel bands. Due to the narrow design of the profile boards, window openings are difficult to provide. In addition, the boards are at risk of warping, and the many narrow webs provided to achieve a high degree of elasticity and flexibility naturally form many joints, which means that the goal area cannot be made very tight, since every tongue and groove connection has a lot of play. The assembly of such a gate is high because of the many profile boards and joints.
In the sliding gate according to DE-OS 3 447 402, the outer board-shaped plate elements connected to one another by plastic sheets can be thermally insulated in this transition area on the inside, for example by felt strips. In particular in this embodiment, the attached wooden profiled boards can become uneven, since the plastic sheets do not exert a restoring force on them. In addition, a build-up of dirt with the result of moisture retention cannot be avoided, since there is inevitably plenty of moisture between the plastic sheet, even if it is replaced by a metal sheet, and the wooden covering on the outside. The use of plastic sheets for the articulated connection of adjacent profile boards reduces the strength and burglar resistance of the door. Such gates are not suitable as sliding ceiling gates.
The insulation on the inside, especially in the form of felt strips, worsens the appearance of the door from the inside. Unprotected insulation of this type is also relatively easily damaged.
The invention has for its object to provide the above-mentioned sliding gate or transversely deformable door leaf for vertically and horizontally opening gates that can be moved in an arc either to the side or upwards, which is robust and inexpensive to manufacture and easily deflectable, and avoids the disadvantages mentioned.
To achieve this object, the invention provides that a sheet metal sheet composed of interconnected wide sheet metal plate elements is provided while leaving a space on the inside of the gate of the outer layer, the width of the sheet metal plate elements being a multiple of the width of the outer plate elements and the division of the profile beads of the inner ones Sheet metal elements corresponds to the division of the outer plate elements.
This design of the sliding gate has the advantage that the door leaf from the room side, e.g. from the inside of the garage is fire protected. In addition, an air cushion is inevitably present between the conventional outer layer and the inner layer, which serves to ventilate the exterior of wooden panel elements or profile boards.
According to one embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the space between the outer and inner layers is at least partially filled with an insulating agent layer. This cannot be damaged because it is protected from both sides. It can therefore also be designed to be particularly effective thermally.
To ensure the distance between the inner and outer layers, it is expedient if the wide sheet metal plate elements have spacings from the narrow plate elements of the outer layer, which are in particular rolled or deep-drawn. The insulation can also be elastic, so that it can be passed over the gene steering points.
The wide sheet metal elements of the inner profiled sheet, which can each be approx. 1 m wide, are only connected to each other on the construction site after they have been hooked into the usual guide elements. This makes them easy to transport to the construction site. So that the air cushion is forcibly obtained between the narrow plate elements of the outer layer and the wide metal plate elements of the inner layer, appropriate profiles can also be provided in the narrow plate elements in addition to the characteristics in the metal plate elements. However, the provision of the spacing means on the sheet metal plate elements is expedient because boards of stock goods can then be used for the outer layer.
Instead of continuous features or elevations on the sheet metal plate elements, spacers or features spaced apart from one another, e.g. nozzle-like projections may be provided. If rolled or deep-drawn shapes or protrusions cannot be provided, at least spacers must be glued on.
On each plate element of the outer layer, a special deep guide groove is expediently provided on each longitudinal edge for receiving strips of wood, plastic, possibly translucent, or metal, which are movably held in the grooves with play, so that they are not worth mentioning when the gates are deflected Generate restoring force.
As an alternative to the articulated edge connection of the plate elements to one another, elastic spring strips can be held in the central axis on the inner covering. You can then slide in edge grooves of adjacent elements. Instead of the spring strips, translucent elastic plastic profiles can be provided, which bridge one to three plate elements of the outer layer and serve as window-like light passages. These profiles are attached to the inner layer on one side or in the middle and slide in the grooves of the plate elements of the outer layer when cornering. Instead of boards as plate elements, the outer layer can also be made of metal or other profiles, e.g. Plastic profiles to be replaced.
It is also possible to modify the construction in such a way that the transparent, articulated plastic profiles instead of in the grooves of the narrow plate elements also slide between them and the inner layer of sheet metal plate elements.
A further embodiment of the invention provides that window openings aligned with one another are provided in the outer and inner plate elements. These can have a round, square or rectangular outline. The window openings are closed with transparent elastic plastic moldings. The boards attached to the sheet metal plate elements of the inner layer are then provided with the same openings at the same location to form window openings, which can also be closed with transparent plastic moldings.
Exemplary embodiments of the sliding gate according to the invention or roll-up door leaf are explained with reference to a drawing, each of which shows a partial oblique view of the upper edge area, FIGS. 1 to 8. 9 and 10 illustrate a sliding gate which can be deflected about a vertical or about a horizontal axis in order to move the door leaf to the side or upwards.
The door leaf 1 consists of two layers, namely an outer layer 2 and an inner layer 3. The outer layer 2 has outer narrow plate elements 4 in the form of wooden boards which are connected to one another in an articulated manner. On one long side of each wooden board, a connecting strip 5 made of plastic is firmly inserted into a groove 6. It can be secured by screws or pins. These connecting strips 5 each extend on the other side into a thicker groove 7 on the long side of the adjacent plate element 4. In this way, a hinge-like movement of the plate elements 4 against one another is possible without transverse deformation of the connecting strips 5. The inner layer 3 is a profiled sheet metal web 10 composed of wide sheet metal plate elements 11 which are articulatedly abutting or connected to one another.
The sheet metal plate elements 11 have profile beads 12 at a distance from one another parallel to their side edges in order to give them the required transverse deformability or bendability. The distance or the division b of the profile beads 12 corresponds to the division a of the outer plate elements 4. The outer plate elements 4 are fastened to them via spacers. This attachment can be provided in the center or at an edge, so that the pivotability about a longitudinal axis of the sheet metal plate elements 11 is ensured. The sheet metal plate elements 11 are interconnected along their longitudinal edges. Instead of strips 5 made of plastic, strips made of sheet metal can also ensure the gap between adjacent outer plate elements 4 while maintaining the articulated connection.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, which is essentially the same as that according to FIG. 1, every second outer plate element 4 is designed as a flat, narrow plate element 13 made of plastic. As a result, the sheet-metal plate elements 11 can be provided with openings 15 which assume the function of window openings. If the flat plate elements 13 consist of transparent or translucent plastic, light can fall inside the room. In this embodiment, the narrow plate elements 4 in the form of boards along both longitudinal sides have thick grooves 7, in which the flat plate elements 13 directly engage loosely. The latter are attached to the sheet metal plate elements 11 at a distance, approximately along their center line, by means of spacing screws 14.
The embodiment according to FIG. 3 is similar to that according to FIG. 1, in which all the outer plate elements 4 are designed in the form of wooden boards which, like the plate elements 4 according to FIG. 2, have a groove 7 on both longitudinal sides. A connecting strip 5 made of plastic or sheet steel engages in this again, this time loosely on both sides. It can be held on one of the plate elements 4 or above adjacent plate elements. These also have two window-like openings 15 one above the other in front of corresponding window-like openings 16 of the sheet metal plate elements 11. These are closed with a closure element 17 made of plastic.
4 in turn has an inner layer 3 made of sheet metal plate elements 11 with profile beads 12, on each of which an outer layer 2 made of plate elements 4 in the form of boards is spaced apart at a distance 2a to 2b. Between these spaced plate elements 4, plate elements 18 made of plastic profiles are provided, which are bent at an angle along their edges and engage between the adjacent plate elements 4 and the sheet metal plate elements 11 with their inner legs 19. These plate elements 18 made of plastic profiles are designed to be elastic so that they do not impair the flexibility of the door leaf. An elastic insulation layer 20 is inserted into the space between the plastic profile plate elements 18, which are aligned with the plate elements 4 on the front.
In addition, window-like openings 15 and 16 are again provided on the inner and outer plate elements. The inner legs 19 of the plastic profile plate elements 18 form sliding legs. These plate elements 18 are therefore connected to them by spacing screws 14 between their edges of the central main part and between the profile beads 12 of the inner wide sheet metal plate elements 11. The outer plate elements 4 are screwed on from the inside of the profiled sheet web 10 with screws 21 leaving an intermediate space.
The door leaf according to FIG. 5 has a somewhat modified design compared to the construction according to FIG. 4. Here, between outer narrow plate elements 4, an outer wide plate element 22 made of plastic with two joint longitudinal beads 23 is provided, the width of which corresponds to three fields if one area denotes an area between adjacent profile beads 12 of the sheet metal plate elements 11 with the width of the pitch b.
In this way, window openings 16 which are closed off from the outside can be provided in adjacent fields of the wide sheet-metal plate elements 11, and there is no need for openings which are to be closed on the inside and outside in each case. The outer wide plate elements 22 are connected to the inner sheet metal plate elements 11 by means of spacer screws 24.
In the formation of the inner layer 3 of the door leaf 1 according to FIGS. 6 to 8, different profiles are introduced into the inner wide sheet metal plate elements 11 in order to ensure that an intermediate space to the outer layer 2 is left. In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, spacer webs 25 projecting outwards are rolled in in the form of longitudinal beads. In the embodiment according to FIG. 7, instead of the spacer webs 25, each wide sheet metal plate element 11 has deep-drawn round projections 26 at a distance from one another, which can have the shape of a nozzle with a central opening. 8, a spacer in the form of a spacer strip 27 is glued to the center of the fields of the sheet metal plate elements 11, to which the narrow plate elements 4, 18 of the outer layer 2 are fastened.
Fig. 9 shows a view of a sliding gate with window openings, the door leaf 1 with vertical plate elements is displaceable to the side. Such a sliding gate is also referred to as a sideways sliding gate. With a corresponding design of the guide rails on the upper and lower edge of the door leaf 1, it can be designed as an all-round door.
A ceiling sliding gate is indicated in FIG. 10, in which the plate elements 4 of the door leaf 1 are aligned horizontally and are guided vertically at their ends. In this form of training again, window-like openings are provided in some plate elements in order to light the inside when the gate is closed, for. B. to enter the garage or hall.
