BESCHREIBUNG
Darin zeigt:
Fig. 1 einen Axialschnitt durch eine Flügelzellenpumpe,
DESCRIPTION
A vane pump is known from DE-PS 1 915 008. This pump has a housing to which a pressure plate is articulated. A guide ring is arranged in the housing and a guide curve is arranged within this guide ring. A rotor with a plurality of radial slots is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to a drive shaft. The slots guide slides, which are guided on the outside of the guide ring and on the inside on the guide curve. A delivery space is formed between the rotor and the guide ring. The guide curve is loaded by a spring in the direction of the greatest width of the delivery chamber. In this known pump, the guide curve, the slide and the guide ring are subject to wear. Because of the field of application, it would be desirable to produce these components and the plates which delimit the end of the delivery space from stainless steel.
However, this is not possible because, in the case of parts sliding on one another, at most one can consist of stainless steel. So far, this conflict has been resolved by producing the guide ring, the guide curve, the pressure plate and the support plate from hardened, ionitrided steel, the slides from stainless steel and the pump rotor from spheroidal cast iron.
High operating pressures can be achieved with this known pump. In the event of wear, however, at least all of the elements mentioned, i.e. H. practically the entire pump can be replaced, so that the maintenance of the known pump was quite complex. In addition, the well-known pump was hygienically imperfect, because it brought the food conveyed into contact with rusting steel parts.
Another food pump according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from prior use. In this known pump, the guide ring, the pressure plate and the counter plate are made of stainless steel and the rotor is made of food bronze. The sliders are made of plastic. A seizure can be avoided by these sliding pairings. However, the maximum delivery pressure of this pump is limited and the slides wear out relatively quickly.
The invention has for its object to develop a pump according to the preamble of claim 1 such that it combines the advantages of high operating pressures and hygienically perfect material and that it can be serviced inexpensively. This object is solved by the characterizing features of the claims.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawing. It shows:
1 shows an axial section through a vane pump,
Fig. 2 is an end view of the pump of Fig. 1 with the cover plate lifted, and
3 and FIG. 4 is a partial section of two variants of the embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 2.
The vane pump shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has a housing 1, on which a pressure plate 2 made of plastic is pivotally articulated about an axis 3. In a cylindrical bore 4 of the housing 1, a guide ring 5 made of stainless steel is rotatably inserted. The inner wall of the guide ring 5 consists of a curve segment 6 and a circular cylinder segment 7. Axially parallel, but eccentrically to the bore 4, a drive shaft 10 is rotatably mounted in the housing 1. With this, a rotor 11 made of austenitic cast iron according to DIN 1694 (Ni-Resist) is rotatably connected via a spline 12 and an intermediate ring 13 made of stainless steel. The rotor 11 has several radial slots at regular angular intervals.
In the slots 14 slide 15 made of stainless steel are radially displaceable, only a few of which are shown. The outer circumference 16 of the rotor 11 forms a delivery space 17 with the segment 6 of the inner wall of the guide ring 5 and forms a sealing zone with the segment 7.
The slides 15 are guided on the outside by the guide ring 5 and on the inside by a guide curve 20 made of plastic. The outer circumference 21 of the guide curve 20, measured in the radial direction of the rotor 11, has a constant distance from the segments 6, 7, this distance being slightly less than the length of the slides 15. The sliders 15 thus have a slight play between the guide curve 20 and the guide ring 5. In order to largely eliminate this play mainly in the suction area of the pump, the guide curve 20 is preloaded in the direction of the suction area by a compression spring 23 arranged in a radial bore 22.
The spring 23 is supported on a bolt 24 made of stainless steel and guided in the bore 22 and this on a sliding ring 25 made of stainless steel, which is rotatably mounted on a front journal 26 coaxially connected to the shaft 10 by means of a plastic plain bearing 33. To prevent rotation, the bolt 24 engages in a groove 27 of the ring 25. In order to secure the guide curve 20 against twisting, it faces the pressure plate 2 with a diametrical groove 28 which runs parallel to the axis of the bore 22 and into which a wedge 29 made of stainless steel and fastened to the pressure plate 2 engages. The axial center plane of the groove 28 is perpendicular to the pivot axis 3 of the pressure plate 2. In order to keep the ring 25 in the guide curve 20 during dismantling, a screw 31 is screwed into the ring 25, the head of which with play in a radial bore 32 of the guide curve 20 engages.
The slides 15 have a groove 36 along their outer edge 35, into which a plastic profile 37 is inserted, and a further groove 39 along their edge 38 facing away from the pressure plate 2. At the inner corner facing the pressure plate 2 they have a bevel 40, which cooperates with the mounting of the guide curve 20 with a bevel 41 of the guide curve 20 which extends over a sector facing the suction region in order to center it against the force of the spring 23. The slide 15 and the rotor 11 rest on one side on the flat inner wall 42 of the pressure plate 2 and on the other side against an exchangeable support plate 43 made of plastic. The support plate 43 is attached to a housing-fixed guide plate 44 made of cast stainless steel.
This is centered on the shaft 10 via an insert sleeve 45 made of stainless steel and a plastic ring 53.
A filling funnel 46 is attached to the pressure plate 2 in the suction area and feeds the delivery chamber 17 from above. In order to suck the sausage meat into the delivery chamber 17, a channel 47 connected to a vacuum source with an opening 48 leads into the delivery chamber 17 in front of the suction area. In the narrowing part of the delivery chamber 17, the sausage meat is radially through an opening 51 of the guide ring 5 and an outlet channel 52 ejected in the housing 1.
If the pump is used to pump sausage meat, it must be dismantled and cleaned daily. For this purpose, the pressure plate 2 is folded up. Now the slide 15, the rotor 11 and the guide curve 20 together with the slide ring 25 can be lifted out of the housing 1. After cleaning, the rotor 11 is first placed on the shaft 1 and the slides 15 are inserted into the slots 14 and brought into contact with the segments 6, 7. Now the guide curve 20 with the slide ring 25 is placed on the shoulder 26. When the guide curve 20 is pushed in, the bevels 40, 41 run up against one another in the suction region of the pump and center the guide curve 20 against the force of the spring 23. Because the groove 28 is perpendicular to the pivot axis 3, the wedge 29 is pushed when the pressure plate 2 is closed little effort into the groove 28.
Suitable materials for the guide curve 20, the pressure plate 2, the support plate 43 and the profiles 37 are thermoplastic materials with high abrasion resistance and high dimensional stability, in particular PETP. Since the wear is largely limited to these parts, the maintenance effort for the pump is low. In addition, the choice of material pairings is made considerably easier. Thus, as shown, all parts that come into contact with the food to be conveyed can be produced from corrosion-resistant material, which is a considerable advantage for hygienic reasons for the intended field of application. When the pressure plate 2 is closed, the wedge 29 slides effortlessly into the groove 28. The pretensioning force of the spring 23 cannot be adjusted, and increased wear due to incorrect manipulation by the operating personnel is therefore eliminated.
The spring force can be optimized at the manufacturer. The construction explained allows quick and easy assembly and disassembly of the working parts of the pump, which makes daily cleaning much easier.
In a departure from the exemplary embodiment shown, the rotor 11 can be made of plastic, if necessary with a metal core made of rust-free cast iron or rust-proof hardened steel. The rotor 11 can also be made of ordinary steel with a plastic coating or another corrosion-resistant coating. It is also possible to make the support plate 43 and / or the pressure plate 2 from hardened stainless steel or from metal with a corrosion-resistant coating, e.g. to train from plastic. It is also possible to insert a wear plate 56 made of plastic into the pressure plate 2 made of stainless steel, which extends at least to the inner wall 6, 7 of the guide ring 5.
As an alternative to the variants of the pressure plate 1 described, it can be made of stainless steel, for which purpose the slide 15 on its edge facing the pressure plate 2 is also equipped with a plastic profile 57 (FIG. 4) inserted into a groove corresponding to the profile 37. It can also be expedient to attach a wear ring 58 made of plastic with a trapezoidal cross-section to the rotor 11 according to FIG. 4, which is supported in a corresponding groove 59 in the pressure plate 2.
