BESCHREIBUNG
Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht eines Luftionisationsgenerators zur Erzeugung von Sauerstoff-Clustern,
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a method for generating coronary discharges in air according to the preamble of claim 1 and an apparatus for performing this method.
The generation of coronary discharges and the air ionization generated thereby is known in many designs. The device used for this purpose, called the air and gas ionizer, essentially consists of two electrodes and an insulator in between. A voltage of several kilovolts is applied to the two electrodes; This results in a gas discharge at the tips and edges of the live electrodes, in which a shock of the air associated with lighting phenomena can also occur.
These ionization generators have become known in many versions since the first ozone tube developed by Werner von Siemens in 1953. Despite the many variations in the design of these ionization generators, they primarily generate ozone (03).
For comparison, it should be pointed out that in the known ultraviolet tube with 253.7 nanometers, a direct germicidal effect is achieved by the ultraviolet radiation, but without generating ozone. In contrast, an ultraviolet tube with 185 nanometers specifically generates ozone and therefore has an indirect, also germicidal effect. The aim of this is to determine that, depending on the ionization generator, air ionization can have such different charge states that to date these have only been regarded as partially researched.
For example, the northern lights and the ball lightning are natural phenomena.
This is where the invention comes in, which is based on the object of designing the aforementioned method in such a way that oxygen clusters can be generated in the air. For these oxygen clusters, see e.g. A. Varga Fundamentals of Bioclimatology, Verlag für Medizin Dr. Ewald Fischer, it is an oxygen ion species that differs significantly from ozone. The discovery of the oxygen clusters was prepared by Einstein and Habicht, who for the first time succeeded in measuring the smallest air-electric charges with the potential multiplier they developed. The two researchers started from the well-known fact that ozone is a strong oxidizer, which attacks the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract and could therefore not be the cause of the healing of lung patients in mountain areas.
From the measurements with the potential multiplier and simultaneous oxidation analyzes, they concluded that there are at least two very differently reacting oxygen ion types in the air, i.e. a quickly and violently reacting and a slowly and mildly reacting manner, which was proven by the discovery of the oxygen cluster by Tschischewsky in 1937.
With the known air ionization generators, measurements led to very different results, which created considerable uncertainty about the suitability of such devices.
The invention is based on the consideration that the generation of oxygen clusters is also possible by means of air ionization generators, provided that the method is carried out in a special way. The above-mentioned object is achieved according to the invention by the characterizing part of patent claim 1.
The invention also includes a device with which the method according to the invention is carried out optimally. This object is achieved according to the invention by the characterizing part of patent claim 5.
The invention is shown in the accompanying drawing in two exemplary embodiments and described below. Show it:
1 is a side view of an air ionization generator for generating oxygen clusters,
Fig. 2 shows a cross section of the air ionization generator according to Fig. 1 and
Fig. 3 is a side view of another embodiment of an air ionization generator.
The air ionization generator 1 shown in Fig. 1 has a base 2 with which the generator 1 on a base 3, e.g. a mounting plate is attached. Socket 2 also houses the connection with which the generator can be connected to a voltage source.
An insulation tube 4 is attached to the base 2 and can be made of glass or plastic, for example.
The shape of the tube 4 can be circular cylindrical or of another shape, e.g. Polygon shape.
An inner electrode 5 is arranged in the interior of the insulator tube 4. This is expediently designed as a sleeve which is arranged at a short distance from the inner wall of the insulator tube 4. The inner electrode 5 is mounted in the base 2 and is connected there to the voltage source. The sleeve forming the inner electrode 5 is expediently formed from a perforated plate, the circular holes of which have a diameter of approximately 1.0 to 3.0 mm, preferably approximately 2 mm, and a hole spacing of 3.0 to 5.5 mm, preferably approximately 4 mm.
A suitable material for the sleeve is, for example, a perforated light metal or steel foil, preferably a foil made of pure staluminium with a foil thickness of about 0.2 mm.
An outer electrode 6 is placed on the insulator tube 4. This has a cylindrical shape and is formed from a wire mesh in such a way that it presses onto the insulator tube 4 with slight pressure. This is achieved in that the longitudinal edges 7, 8 of the wire mesh, from which the outer electrode 6 is formed, see FIG. 2, are placed on top of one another and welded in the form of a comb 9, and they extend radially. The transition parts 10, 11 of the longitudinal edges 7, 8 in the cylindrical part of the outer electrode 6, see the enlarged section of FIG. 2, forms an elastically deformed part which exerts a spring force on the outer electrode 6, through which the outer electrode 6 acts on the Outside surface of the insulator tube 4 sets.
It is essential that the force exerted by the transition parts 10, 11 is only so great that the displaceability of the outer electrode 6 is maintained. The power of the air ionization generator 1 can be adjusted by displacing the outer electrode 6 relative to the fixedly arranged inner electrode 5. The fixedly arranged inner electrode 5 has a length of approximately two thirds of the length for the outer electrode 6. The displacement and thus the qualitative electron emission can be adjusted in that an adjusting tube is attached to the outer electrode 6 on the side facing away from the base, the length of which is somewhat greater than the difference between the lengths of the insulator tube 4 and the outer electrode 6.
A shaft can be attached to the tube, which protrudes from the housing in which the air ionization generator 1 is usually installed and which carries a handle made of insulation material with which the outer electrode 6 can be moved. The adjustment of the outer electrode 6 can, however, also take place in another way and is not essential for explaining the essence of the invention. The electron emission can be adjusted most precisely with the sense of smell, which most precisely determines the most pleasant concentration of the oxygen clusters.
3 shows a simplified version of the air ionization generator 1. The individual parts that correspond to those of the embodiment according to FIG. 1 have the same reference numbers and are no longer explained. The difference of this embodiment from that of FIG. 1 is that the electrodes 5, 6 are not displaceable relative to each other, but are arranged in a fixed manner. The outer electrode 6 ends at a distance from the base 2, while the inner electrode 5 extends into the base 2. On the side facing away from the base, the two electrodes 5, 6 end at approximately the same height.
1 and 3, a high voltage source is also shown schematically, the alternating voltage of which is in the range from 1500 to 3000 volts. 1, the voltage is constant and the size of the discharge field is regulated by moving the outer electrode 6 on the insulator tube 4, while in the embodiment according to FIG. 3 the size of the discharge field is regulated by changing the voltage.
In the introduction to the description, the ultraviolet tube was used to show that the ultraviolet light frequency plays a crucial role in what happens in the air. Accordingly, the parameters of the air ionization tube 1 are also important in the present case as to whether the diffuse electron emissions which are decisive for the formation of oxygen clusters can be generated during the coronary discharges.
The most important parameters here are the thickness of the walls of the insulator tube 4, the shape of the inner electrode 5 and the outer electrode 6 and the applied voltage. With a jonometer and a quantimeter it is possible to measure the effect of the individual parameters and thus optimize the air ionization generator with regard to the oxygen cluster generation.
In order that the diffuse electron emission is effective with the same strength over a longer period of time, it is advantageous that the insulator tube 4 is impregnated so that it has a moisture-repellent effect. For this, e.g. an insulating silicone that is polymerized by heating after application. However, other agents with comparable properties can also be used. The adherent layer ensures that the conditions for generating oxygen clusters are maintained even in a relatively humid atmosphere.
The process described for generating oxygen clusters in the air is used for air disinfection, deodorization and air conditioning in the sense of bioclimatic.
