Abstract

The hat with a crown connected to a wide brim made of flexible material, has a ring of plastics or metal attached to the edge of the brim. This enables the rim to be twisted into the form of two discs, occupying an reduced space. Attached to the hat are two straps which can be used to hold the hat in position on the heat. They have connectors attached to their free ends and can be also used as a single suspension strap when the brim is folded to its smaller size. The reinforcing ring can be of stainless steel, aluminium etc. USE/ADVANTAGE - Can be worn by either sex as a novelty device and is suitable for all weathers.
