BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a slide closure according to the preamble of claim 1. A slide closure of this type is the subject of Swiss patent No. 663 366 by the same applicant; the content of that application is expressly referred to here.
The object of the invention is - as with the subject of the aforementioned patent - in general to create a two-hole slide lock of significantly simplified construction and reduced effort in actuating means, but starting from that invention, another. particularly advantageous design is to be proposed. This object is achieved in accordance with the characterizing features of claim 1.
The invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment in conjunction with the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a simplified vertical section along the line 1-1 in Fig. 2, a three-plate sliding closure mounted on a melting vessel, and
Fig. 2 is a section along the line II - II in Fig. 1, with fixed housing parts of the closure are omitted.
1 and 2 is a so-called three-plate closure, which is mounted in a known manner on the underside of a melt vessel, for example an intermediate vessel of a continuous casting plant. Only the metallic outer jacket 1 of the vessel is shown. In an opening of the same, a refractory perforated brick 3 is inserted, the bore 4 of which extends downwards through the beginning of the subsequent closure. controllable flow channel forms.
The upper housing part 11 of the slide closure, designated overall by 10, is fastened in a known manner, not shown, to the melting vessel or its outer casing 1. To control the melt flow, the closure contains three refractory closure plates, namely a stationary top plate 6 with the opening 5 held in the housing upper part 11, a movable middle plate 7 and a stationary bottom plate 8 with a flow opening aligned with the opening 5. The lower plate 8 is part of the removable fastener lower part 12, which is only indicated by dash-dotted lines, since its structure is not important for understanding the present invention. The three closing plates are clamped together from the lower part 12, so that the middle plate 7 is in constant sliding contact with the two stationary plates 6 and 8.
The movable closure plate 7, usually called a slide plate, is contained in a metal holding frame 74 and together with this forms the closure slide. A linear drive, for example a hydraulic cylinder-piston unit, of which only the piston rod 23 is shown, is fastened to the holding frame 74 via a hinge pin 22. The slide plate 7 contains two flow openings 30 and 31, which are produced as round bores as usual. To the side of these bores there is the hatched closing area 32 of the plate.
In the closed position of the slide shown, the closing area 32 is located between the throughflow openings of the stationary top and bottom plates. By actuating the linear drive (piston rod 23) and with the help of special passive steering elements, which are described below, one of the two bores 30 or 31 can optionally be brought to coincide with the bores in the stationary plates in order to allow the melt to flow out; By means of suitable control of the same drive, intermediate positions for throttling the flow cross-section can of course also be set, in which the bores only partially overlap.
In the present exemplary embodiment, the passive steering elements for the displacement of the movable closure plate 7 are designed in such a way that the two movement paths x, y assigned to the bores 30 and 31 run in a circular arc. In the center of each circular arc x or y there is a bore 75a or 75b in the holding frame 74.
In the fixed part of the closure 10, preferably as shown in the upper housing part 11, corresponding bores 77a and 77b are provided which are aligned with the bores 75a and 75b in the closed position of the closure slide 7, 74.
A pivot pin 76 can then optionally be inserted into one of the two pairs of bores 75a, 77a or 75b, 77b. Depending on the pair of bores in which the bolt 76 is inserted, the slide performs one or the other defined pivoting movement when the linear drive is actuated: If the pivot bolt 76 connects the bores 75a and 77a, as shown, the flow bore 30 of the slide plate 7 becomes on the Path x moved to the open position, d. H. brought into congruence with the bore 5; the holding frame 74 then assumes the position 74 'shown in broken lines. In the other case, when the pivot pin 76 is inserted into the bores 75b, 77b, the flow bore 31 on the path y, on the other hand, comes into the open position, i. H. to cover with the fixed hole 5.
The two movement paths x and y thus intersect at point 33 on the axis of the fixed flow bore 5. In order to ensure a precise covering of the bores 30 and 31 with the bore 5 in the open position, one as the other swiveling movement of the slide can be carried out by suitable means , if necessary, adjustable stops for the frame 74 are limited (not shown).
Preferably, the articulation point of the linear drive (hinge pin 22) on the slide frame 74, as can be seen in FIG. 7, is located on the central perpendicular (axis of symmetry) between the bores 75a and 75b. However, another articulation point can also be selected, provided that the direction of the driving force does not run through one of the two bores.
The conversion of the passive steering elements 75, 76, 77 to one or the other movement path x, y takes place, as mentioned, with the closure closed, when both pairs of bores 75a, 77a and 75b, 77b are in register with each other.
The pivot pin 76 can then be easily repositioned, which is also possible from outside the locking housing with the aid of a suitable actuating lever or the like: of course, a suitable locking of the pin must also be provided (not shown).
Regarding the preferred design of the refractory.
movable closure plate 7 applies in the aforementioned, older patent application no. 6201 / 83-0 Said, in particular, it can be provided in the closing area with the means described in FIG. 7 for introducing gases into the flow channel.
