Abstract

In simplified form the illustrated postcard comprises, adjacent to one side (2) of a card of standard format (1), a strip (3) containing a photographic negative (5) in a window (4) cut into the strip such that the negative can be observed through the window. In one particular embodiment, the negative, already mounted in a standard negative frame, is protected by a transparent film applied over the sheet forming the card and over an edge thereof which folds to form the strip. La diapositiva 5 è interposta fra le due porzioni del lembo ripiegato, in corripondenza della finestra 4, tale che i margini della diapositiva si inseriscono sotto i bordi delle finestre praticate nel lembo. Il foglio è inciso mediante un taglio discontinuo lungo la linea 2 che delimita il formato normalizzato 1 dalla banda 3 e ciò allo scopo di facilitare la separazione della banda dalla cartolina. Manufacturing process of the postcard according to claim 6, characterized in that: the band (3) is formed by a double sheet obtained by folding a flap (6) of the same sheet that constitutes the postcard, so that in the sheet printing, comprising several single pieces each destined to form a postcard, a single piece comprises said flap arranged on one side of the normalized format of the postcard; the press sheet, showing the illustrations of the postcards on the front and on the back of the use fonts for sending mail, is windowed at the edge of each single piece, so as to obtain a window (10) with lights superimposable after the folding of the flap (6) according to the relative line (11); the printing sheet is covered, on the side of the illustration, by a thin film of transparent material, applied seamlessly within a single piece, so that the film also covers the light from the window; the flap relating to a single piece is folded on itself according to the provided folding line (11), after positioning a frame with the relative slide already mounted, within the window (10), so that the frame with the slide remains interposed between the two portions of film that close the window, and this is that the flap is folded on the side of the postcard illustration, and that it is folded on the opposite side, since the flap is fixed, after folding.
