Abstract

A rear wall (1) of the frame which is provided with slots (3) for mounting purposes is provided on its longitudinal sides with flanges (6) with grooves (7) into which the longitudinal edges of a numberplate can engage. Die Halterung des Schildes ist damit sehr zuverlässig, und es sind auch alle ästhetischen Forderungen erfüllt. The present invention relates to a frame, in particular for vehicle signs, which can be mounted with its rear side and which has means for holding a sign laterally.

Such frames, in particular for vehicle plates, are usually made in several parts with frame parts that can be plugged together or screwed together, the frame having to be disassembled and reassembled in order to replace a license plate. The aim of the present invention is to provide a frame that is easier to use and cheaper to manufacture.
