In bekannten sog.

11. Jigsaw according to claim 10, characterized in that the stop (9) in the housing (4) is rotatably mounted eccentric cam.
The invention relates to a jigsaw with an axially displaceably guided ram for carrying a saw blade and with a cam which engages on a ram guide element and can be rotated about an axis approximately perpendicular to the ram axis for effecting a pendulum movement of the ram in the feed direction of the saw blade.
In known so-called pendulum jigsaws of this type (DE-OS 26 55 583, DE-Gbm 81 37 904), the cam disk is designed as an axial cam disk, in which the control surface is an axially directed annular surface. which deflects in the axial direction when the cam disc rotates.
The production of such an axial cam is relatively expensive because the axially directed control surface has to be machined on the disk. Furthermore, the tappet guide element resting on the cam disc transmits the force exerted during sawing axially to the cam disc, so that this has to be supported in the housing of the jigsaw via an axial bearing.
The object of the invention is to avoid the costly production of the cam disc and at the same time the novelty for a thrust bearing in a jigsaw of the type mentioned.
The object is achieved in the jigsaw according to the invention in that the cam plate is a radial cam plate, in which the control surface is formed by the peripheral surface, and in that the ram guide element has a cam follower element touching the peripheral surface of the cam plate and is pivotably mounted about an axis, which is approximately on the height of the contact plane between the cam and cam follower element.
The radial cam disc can be manufactured inexpensively as a stamped part. Any suitable curve shape is possible easily and without additional effort in the production. The force exerted on the ram guide element during sawing is transmitted radially from the cam follower element to the cam disc thanks to its pivoting bearing and received by a radial bearing provided for this purpose, so that no loaded axial bearing has to be provided.
An embodiment of the jigsaw according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, which shows a vertical section through the front part of a jigsaw.
According to the drawing, an up and down movable plunger 1, at the lower end of which a saw blade 2 is fastened, is guided axially displaceably in a plunger guide body 3. The ram guide body 3 is pivotally mounted in the housing 4 of the jigsaw about an axis 5, so that the ram 1 can perform a pendulum movement in the feed direction of the saw blade 2. On the ram guide body 3 there is also a downwardly projecting support fork 3a which supports the saw blade 2 on its rear edge.
On the tappet guide body 3, a cam follower roller 6 is rotatably mounted about an axis perpendicular to the tappet axis, which cooperates with a radial cam 7, the axis of rotation of which is approximately parallel to the axis of the roller 6 and thus is approximately perpendicular to the axis of the tappet 1. In the ram guide body 3, a helical compression spring 8 is arranged, which is supported on a fixed part of the housing 4 and tends to pivot the body 3 about the axis 5 in a clockwise direction according to the drawing. The spring 8 normally holds the roller 6 in contact with the peripheral surface of the radial cam 7.
However, for the adjustable limitation of the pendulum movement of the plunger guide body 3 caused by the cam plate 7, an adjustable stop 9 is also arranged in the housing 4, against which, depending on its position, the plunger guide body 3 abuts clockwise after part of its return movement. As shown, the adjustable stop is in the form of an eccentric cam on a shaft which can be rotated in the housing 4. The distance between the cam 9 and the tappet guide body 3 can be adjusted by rotating this shaft.
The pivot axis 5 of the tappet guide body 3 lies approximately at the height of the cam follower roller 6 or the plane of contact between this roller and the cam disk 7,
so that the movement arc of the point of the roller 6 touching the cam 7 (when pivoting about the axis 5) lies approximately in the plane of the cam 7.
The radial cam disc 7 is an annular stamped part which is pressed onto a hub part of a sintered body 10 which is rotatably mounted on an axis 11 fixed to the housing. The sintered body 10 eccentrically carries a roller 12 which engages in a link 13 attached to the upper end of the plunger 1 in order to cause the plunger 1 to move up and down. The roller 12 is mounted on an axis held in the body 10, the rear end of which extends into a suitable recess in the cam disk 7 in order to secure it against rotation with respect to the body 10. On the hub part of the sintered body 10, a second sintered body 14 is also pressed behind the cam disk 7, which engages with an eccentric section in a link in a mass compensation body 15 in order to move it up and down in opposite phase to the movement of the plunger 1.
A toothed ring 16, which meshes with a pinion 17 on the shaft of the drive electric motor (not shown) of the jigsaw, is pressed onto or formed on the second sintered body 14.
The two sintered bodies 10, 14, the ring gear 16 and the radial cam 7 are therefore rigidly connected to one another for common movement. They are rotated by the pinion 17 around the axis 11 in operation. The roller 12 axially moves the plunger 1 up and down on the front body 10, and the eccentric section of the rear body 14 moves the mass balancing body 15 up and down in counter-movement to this. At the same time, the cam guide body 3 is pivoted back and forth about the axis 5 by the cam disk 7 resting on the cam follower roller 6 and the return spring 8.
