PATENTANSPRÜCHE

PATENT CLAIMS
1.Curve conveyor for goods to be transported, such as containers or crockery baskets, with pulsating tilt cams for continuous conveying, characterized in that the tilting cams (3) are arranged at equal distances from one another in the outer region of the curve, the stroke (B) of the feed movement being at least the same size in each case is held as the distance (A) between the tilting cams, and a tilting cam can only come into engagement with the transport goods and thus in working connection only once per transport item deflection.
2. Curve conveyor according to claim 1, characterized in that the tilting cams (3) between the periphery (6) and the central longitudinal axis (7) of the curve are arranged.
3. Curve conveyor according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the tilt cams (3) are arranged in the curve so that the stroke (B) of the feed movement is the same as the distance (A) between the tilt cams (3).
4. Curve conveyor according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the tilt cams (3) are arranged in the curve so that the stroke (B) of the feed movement is greater than the distance (A) between the tilt cams (3).
In known transport systems with constant conveyance of the goods to be transported, the latter is conveyed in a pulsating flow by reciprocating tilting cams. The tilting cams protruding from the track of the run or the conveyor belt are temporarily engaged with the goods to be transported and cause the goods to be transported. In the return of the run or the conveyor belt, the tipping cams fall down, then automatically stand up again and have recently taken up the goods to be transported. The goods to be transported are not gripped by one of the cams in a defined position, which can result in an attack in an inappropriate position and thus easily jamming.
Such conveyor systems were quite unsuitable for small curve radii.
The invention relates to a curved conveyor for transport goods, such as containers or crockery baskets, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
The invention has for its object to detect the Trans portgutjeweils only from a tilting cam in a certain position, to prevent jamming and to ensure the transport even with extremely small curve radii.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by the features toothed in the characterizing part of patent claim 1. Advantageous further developments result from the following description and the dependent claims 2 to 4, individually or in combination.
The drawing shows:
1 is a plan view of the curve conveyor, the tilting cams in the initial position,
2 is the same, the tilting cams in the end position,
3 is a view of a tilting cam engaging the cargo in the forward position,
Fig. 4 is a similar, the tilt cam in the return position long and
Fig. 5 is a schematic representation of the engagement area on the cargo in a curve.
1 denotes the curve of a conveyor system for transport goods, such as containers, crockery baskets etc. and other general cargo. A plurality of tilting cams 3 running back and forth in a known manner are provided in the cam track 2 and are moved forward in a pulsating manner. The tilting cams 3 protrude upward in relation to the running surface of the curved track 2 and are in engagement with the transport goods 4 during a advance. Each tilting cam 3 can be pivoted about an associated axis 5 in the vertical plane and has a shorter leg 3 'and a longer leg 3 ".
The tilt cams 3 are located in the outer region of the curved track 2, specifically between the periphery 6 and the central longitudinal axis 7. The tilt cams 3 are at the same distance A from one another. The respective stroke B of the feed movement is equal to or greater than the distance A.
Distance A and stroke B are designed and arranged such that a cam engages with transport goods only once per deflection. came into working relationship.
The working connection of the cams with the transported goods can take place below or to the side of the latter. The grip area of the tilting cams 3 on the goods to be transported is in the dashed area 4 'facing the periphery of the curve, as shown in FIG. 5.
Due to the cam arrangement described, the goods to be transported are only ever attacked by one of the cams in a defined position, namely between the central longitudinal axis 7 and the periphery 6.
The pulsating tilting cams 3 function analogously to the case with conveyor belts. The tilting cams 3 protruding from the curved track 2 are in engagement and in working connection with the transport goods 4 during their advance, move forward, tilt downward in the return, are automatically raised again by the gravity of the longer legs 3 "at the rear dead center and take hold the cargo again.
The arrangement of the tilting cams 3 is characteristic of the curve conveyor shown, the goods to be transported 4 being each detected only by one cam in a defined position close to the periphery 6. In addition to avoiding jamming on the part of the goods to be transported, this enables transport through very small curve radii and the conveyance is fully guaranteed at curve angles from 0 "to 180.
