PATENTANSPRÜCHE
1. Folienartiger Schutzring für Klosettdeckel, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der einen üblichen Klosettdeckel mindestens angenähert überdeckende Ring (1) auf Taschenformat zusammengefaltet oder zusammengerollt ist, mit einer Flüssigkeit getränkt und von einer dichten Hülle (8) umgeben ist.
2. Schutzring nach Patentanspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Ring (1) mit Perforationen (4) versehen ist, welche eine Trennung in mehrere Sektoren (5) erleichtern.
3. Schutzring nach Patentanspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Zuschnitt auf ein Sechzehntel Segment zusammengefaltet ist, der die Spitze (17) enthaltende Spickel (20) gegen den Hauptteil (22) umgefaltet ist, der obere, dreieckförmige Lappen (18) gegen den Hauptteil (22) umgebogen ist, und das Ganze um eine Biegelinie (24) nochmals auf die halbe Länge umgefaltet ist (Figur 6).
4. Schutzring nach Patentanspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass im Zuschnitt mindestens ein Einschnitt (16) angebracht ist, zur Erleichterung des Abtrennens eines Spickels (20), die Faltung so vorgenommen ist, dass die Trennstellen bildenden Stege (15) im gefalteten Zustand übereinanderliegen.
5. Schutzring nach Patentanspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Ring kreisförmig oder oval ist.
6. Schutzring nach Patentanspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens der Ring-Aussenrand (6) po lygonartig, vorzugsweise achteckig, ausgebildet ist.
7. Schutzring nach einem der Patentansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass etwa radial verlaufende Perforierungslinien (4) vorhanden sind, welche die Ringfläche in 6 bis 8 Sektoren (5) unterteilen.
8. Schutzring nach einem der Patentansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Flüssigkeit mindestens eine der folgenden Eigenschaften hat: desinfizierend, desodorierend, reinigend, antiseptisch, parfumierend.
9. Schutzring nach einem der Patentansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Hülle (8) briefartig ausgebildet ist und das Format von A6 und eine Dicke von 20 mm nicht übersteigt.
10. Schutzring nach Patentanspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Taschenformat die Abmessungen von etwa 80 12015 mm nicht übersteigt.
11. Schutzring nach einem der Patentansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Hülle eine Zylinderrolle ist, deren Durchmesser 2 cm und deren Länge 10 cm nicht übersteigt.
12. Schutzring nach einem der Patentansprüche 1 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er aus saugfähigem Papier oder mindestens teilweise aus einem saugfähigen Kunststoff Vlies besteht.
13. Folienartiger Schutzring für Klosettdeckel, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der die Sitzfläche eines üblichen Klosettdeckels mindestens angenähert überdeckende trockene Ring (1) zusammengefaltet und von einer briefartigen Hülle von Taschenformat umgeben ist.
14. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schutzringes nach Patentanspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass aus einem Band oder Bogen ein runder oder achteckiger Zuschnitt ausgeschnitten wird, mit diesem Zuschnitt hernach mindestens folgende Faltvorgänge ausgeführt werden: Faltung zu einem Viertel-Segment, sodann zu einem Achtel-Segment und hierauf zu einem Sechzehntel-Segment, spätestens in diesem Faltzustand etwa im halben Abstand zwischen Spitze (17) und Aussenrand (6) mindestens ein Einschnitt (16) unter Belassung eines Steges (15) angebracht wird, sodann der die Spitze (17) enthaltende Spickel (20) mit dem Einschnitt (16) als Faltlinie gegen den Hauptteil umgefaltet wird und ein oberer dreieckförmiger Lappen (18) des Ilauptteiles (22) um eine zur Grundkante (12) parallele Linie (19) umgefaltet wird,
das Faltprodukt in eine dichte Hülle (8) gesteckt und diese verschlossen wird.
15. Verfahren nach Patentanspruch 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Faltprodukt vor dem Einstecken in die Hülle (8) in der Mitte um eine rechtwinklig zur Grundkante (12) verlaufende Biegekante (24) nochmals gefaltet wird.
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen folienartigen Schutzring für Klosettdeckel.
Es sind bereits wegwerfbare Papierauflagen bekannt, die aus hygienischen Gründen auf Klosettdeckel auflegbar sind.
Nachteilig ist indessen, dass zu deren Vorratshaltung besondere Spendervorrichtungen erforderlich sind, welche solche Papierauflageringe entweder einzeln abgeben, oder diese sich von einer Rolle abziehen lassen. Dies bedingt einen relativ grossen Apparateaufwand, und zudem zeigt die Erfahrung, dass der Nachschub des aufgebrauchten Vorrates oftmals ein organisatorisches Problem ergibt. Ausserdem sind solche Auflagen bakteriologisch nicht einwandfrei. Andererseits sind bereits zusammengefaltete, in einer aufreissbaren Hülle verpackte Erfrischungstüchlein bekannt, mit denen die Hände gereinigt werden können. Derartige Erfrischungstüchlein haben jedoch nur eine beschränkte, meist rechteckige Grösse, die kleiner als das A4-Format ist.
Mit der Erfindung soll die Aufgabe gelöst werden, einen Schutzring für Klosettdeckel zu schaffen, der - auch in mehreren Exemplaren - bequem in der Tasche mitgetragen werden kann, der aber trotzdem gross genug ist, um die Sitzfläche eines Klosettdeckels zu überdecken, und bei dem zudem das Verdunsten einer Flüssigkeit, mit der das Material getränkt ist, verhindert wird.
Diese Aufgabe wird durch die im Kennzeichen der Patentansprüche 1 und 13 genannten Merkmale gelöst.

Der Schutzring 1 besteht aus einem folienartigen Material, vorzugsweise dünnem Papier oder einem sonstigen Vliesstoff, der saugfähig ist. Dieser Schutzring 1 wird auf einen Klosettdeckel 3 üblicher Grösse aufgelegt. Die Ringöffnung 2 ist achteckförmig, und auch die Aussenkontur 6 bildet ein Achteck.
Der Ring ist durch acht Perforierlinien 4, die radial verlaufen, in trapezförmige Abschnitte 5 unterteilt.
Der Durchmesser eines der Ringöffnung 2 eingeschriebenen Kreises beträgt 18 cm bis 25 cm, vorzugsweise etwa 21 cm.
Der Durchmesser eines aussen umschriebenen Kreises beträgt 36 cm bis 54 cm, vorzugsweise etwa 45 cm. Die Ringbreite beträgt 9 cm bis 14 cm, vorzugsweise 11 cm bis 12 cm.
Ausser einer Achteckform für die Ringöffnung und die Aussenkontur könnte auch eine runde, ovale oder andere polygonale Form gewählt werden.
Der Schutzring list mit einer Flüssigkeit getränkt, welche eine oder mehrere der nachfolgenden Eigenschaften hat:
desinfizierend, desodorierend, reinigend, antiseptisch, parfümierend. Dieser Schutzring wird zusammengefaltet, so dass er ein möglichst kleines Volumen annimmt und bequem in der Tasche mitgetragen werden kann. Das Taschenformat der Hülle kann beispielsweise etwa folgende Abmessungen haben: l0574 15 mm. Falls der letzte Faltvorgang unterlassen wird, kann ein solches Taschenformat auch die Abmessungen von etwa 14 7 1,2 cm haben.
Die Hülle, in welche der zusammengefaltete Schutzring eingeschoben wird, besteht in üblicher Weise aus einem flüssigkeits- und dampfdichten Material, welches eine Verdunstung der Flüssigkeit, mit welcher der Schutzring getränkt wird, verhindert. Vorzugsweise ist das Material mit einer Aluminiumschicht kaschiert und aussen von einer bedruckbaren Papierschicht umgeben. Diese Hülle 8 ist ringsherum mit einem von Hand aufreissbaren flachen Rand 9 versehen, während der Mittelteil 10 ausgebaucht ist.
Der Schutzring wird vorzugsweise auf die nachstehend beschriebene und in den Figuren 4 bis 6 dargestellte Weise zusammengefaltet.
Der Schutzring 1 wird aus einer Papierbahn od. dgl. Material ausgeschnitten oder ausgestanzt, wobei die Aussenkonturen achteckförmig gewählt sind. Dieser Zuschnitt wird zuerst auf einen Viertel umgefaltet, wie dies aus der Figur 4 hervorgeht. Hernach erfolgt eine weitere Faltung um eine Faltlinie 13, so dass hernach der Zuschnitt einen Achtel der ursprünglichen Grösse einnimmt. Sodann erfolgt eine nochmalige Faltung um die Faltlinien 14, wodurch der Zuschnitt das Format eines Sechzehntels seiner ursprünglichen Grösse erhält. Dieser Faltzustand geht aus Figur 5 hervor. Spätestens in diesem Faltzustand werden zwei Einschnitte 16 derart angebracht, dass etwa in der Mitte ein kurzer Steg 15 verbleibt.
In diesem Faltzustand liegen alle Stege 15 übereinander.-Die Einschnitte 16 verlaufen rechtwinklig zur Grundkante 12 und befinden sich in der Mitte zwischen der Spitze 17 und der Aussenkontur 6. Dadurch verbleibt rechts von den Einschnitten 16 ein dreieckförmiger Spickel 20, der in einem nachfolgenden Faltprozess um eine Biegelinie, welche durch die Einschnitte 16 gelegt wird, nach innen gefaltet wird. Hernach wird der dreieckförmige Lappen 18 um eine sich parallel zur Grundkante 12 erstreckende Faltlinie 19 umgebogen.
Dadurch nimmt der Zuschnitt schliesslich die aus Figur 6 ersichtliche Form an. Um möglichst kleine Abmessungen zu erhalten, wird eine weitere Faltung um die Biegelinie 24 vorgenommen, welche sich rechtwinklig zur Grund kante 12 erstreckt. In diesem Faltzustand des Zuschnittes wird er in das Innere der Hülle 8 eingeschoben. Bevor die Hülle verschlossen wird, wird die bereits erwähnte Flüssigkeit zugegeben, oder aber das Material wird bereits im flachen oder gefalteten Zustand mit der Flüssigkeit getränkt. Sodann wird die Hülle dicht verschlossen.
Unter Taschenformat der briefartigen Hülle 8 wird ein Format von höchstens 6A (105.148 mm) und eine Dicke von höchstens 20 mm verstanden. Vorzugsweise sind die Abmessungen kleiner als etwa 80 12015 mm.
Zum Gebrauch wird die Hülle 8 am Rand 9 von Hand aufgerissen und der gefaltete Zuschnitt herausgezogen. Zur Erzeugung der mittleren Ringöffnung 2 wird nun der dreieckförmige, gefaltete Spickel 20 von Hand abgerissen oder abgedreht, indem der Steg 15 durch die Einschnitte 16 als vorbereitete Soll-Trennstelle durchgerissen wird. Sodann wird der Schutzring 1 auf die ursprüngliche Grösse entfaltet und auf den Klosettdeckel 3 gelegt. Infolge des mit Flüssigkeit getränkten Materials entsteht eine leichte Haftung des Schutzringes auf dem Klosettdeckel, was verhindert, dass schon ein geringer Luftzung diesen Schutzring wegbläst.
Im Bedarfsfalle kann der Ring 1 auch in 8 Einzelabschnitte 5 unterteilt werden, indem der Ring entlang den Perforierlinien 4 getrennt wird. Diese lassen sich als Erfrischungstüchlein, beispielsweise zur Reinigung der Hände verwenden.
Als Ausführungsvariante ist es auch denkbar, dass auf den Spickel 20 zum vornherein verzichtet wird, wodurch das Anbringen von Einschnitten 16 entfällt, da dann der Zuschnitt bereits von Anfang an eine Ringform hat. Der Faltvorgang bleibt grundsätzlich der gleiche, wobei lediglich das Umfalten des Spickels 20 entfällt.
An Stelle einer Faltung des Zuschnittes könnte dieser auch gerollt und in eine Zylinderhülle gesteckt werden. Das Taschenformat soll hier einen Durchmesser von 20 mm und eine Länge von 100 mm nicht übersteigen.
Eine weitere Variante besteht darin, dass der Schutzring der beschriebenen Art trocken von einer briefartigen Hülle in Taschenformat-Grösse umgeben wird.

PATENT CLAIMS
1. Foil-like protective ring for toilet lid, characterized in that the usual toilet lid at least approximately covering ring (1) is folded or rolled up to pocket size, soaked with a liquid and surrounded by a dense casing (8).

The invention relates to a film-like protective ring for toilet lids.
Disposable paper pads are already known which can be placed on the toilet lid for hygienic reasons.
However, it is disadvantageous that special dispensing devices are required to keep them in stock, which dispense such paper support rings either individually or they can be pulled off a roll. This requires a relatively large amount of equipment, and experience shows that replenishing the used up stock often results in an organizational problem. In addition, such conditions are not bacteriologically perfect. On the other hand, folded refreshment wipes are already known, packed in a tear-open cover, with which the hands can be cleaned. Such refreshment towels, however, have only a limited, usually rectangular size, which is smaller than the A4 format.
With the invention, the object is to be achieved to provide a protective ring for toilet lids which - even in several copies - can be carried comfortably in the pocket, but which is nevertheless large enough to cover the seat of a toilet lid, and in addition the evaporation of a liquid with which the material is soaked is prevented.
This object is achieved by the features mentioned in the characterizing part of claims 1 and 13.

The protective ring 1 consists of a film-like material, preferably thin paper or another non-woven material, which is absorbent. This protective ring 1 is placed on a toilet lid 3 of conventional size. The ring opening 2 is octagonal, and the outer contour 6 also forms an octagon.
The ring is divided into trapezoidal sections 5 by eight perforation lines 4, which run radially.
The diameter of a circle inscribed in the ring opening 2 is 18 cm to 25 cm, preferably approximately 21 cm.
The diameter of a circle circumscribed on the outside is 36 cm to 54 cm, preferably approximately 45 cm. The ring width is 9 cm to 14 cm, preferably 11 cm to 12 cm.
In addition to an octagon shape for the ring opening and the outer contour, a round, oval or other polygonal shape could also be selected.
The protective ring is impregnated with a liquid which has one or more of the following properties:
disinfectant, deodorant, cleansing, antiseptic, perfuming. This protective ring is folded up so that it takes on the smallest possible volume and can be carried comfortably in your pocket. The pocket format of the cover can have, for example, the following dimensions: l0574 15 mm. If the last folding process is omitted, such a pocket format can also have the dimensions of approximately 14 7 1.2 cm.
The sleeve into which the folded protective ring is inserted consists in the usual way of a liquid and vapor tight material which prevents evaporation of the liquid with which the protective ring is impregnated. The material is preferably laminated with an aluminum layer and surrounded on the outside by a printable paper layer. This sleeve 8 is provided all around with a flat edge 9 that can be torn open by hand, while the central part 10 is bulged.
The protective ring is preferably folded in the manner described below and shown in FIGS. 4 to 6.
The protective ring 1 is cut or punched out of a paper web or similar material, the outer contours being selected to be octagonal. This blank is first folded over into a quarter, as can be seen from FIG. 4. This is followed by a further folding around a fold line 13, so that afterwards the cut takes up an eighth of the original size. A second fold is then carried out around the fold lines 14, as a result of which the blank is given the format of one sixteenth of its original size. This folded state is shown in Figure 5. At the latest in this folded state, two incisions 16 are made such that a short web 15 remains approximately in the middle.
In this folded state, all of the webs 15 lie one above the other. The incisions 16 run at right angles to the base edge 12 and are located in the middle between the tip 17 and the outer contour 6. This leaves a triangular spike 20 to the right of the incisions 16, which is used in a subsequent folding process is folded inwards around a bending line which is laid through the incisions 16. The triangular flap 18 is then bent over a fold line 19 extending parallel to the base edge 12.
As a result, the blank finally assumes the shape shown in FIG. 6. In order to obtain the smallest possible dimensions, a further fold is made around the bending line 24, which extends at right angles to the base edge 12. In this folded state of the blank, it is inserted into the interior of the casing 8. Before the cover is closed, the liquid already mentioned is added, or else the material is soaked with the liquid in the flat or folded state. The cover is then closed tightly.
The pocket format of the letter-like envelope 8 is understood to mean a format of at most 6A (105,148 mm) and a thickness of at most 20 mm. The dimensions are preferably smaller than approximately 80 12015 mm.
For use, the sleeve 8 is torn open at the edge 9 and the folded blank is pulled out. To create the middle ring opening 2, the triangular, folded spike 20 is now torn off or twisted by hand, by tearing the web 15 through the incisions 16 as a prepared desired separation point. Then the protective ring 1 is unfolded to its original size and placed on the toilet lid 3. As a result of the material soaked in liquid, the protective ring adheres slightly to the toilet lid, which prevents even a small tongue of air from blowing this protective ring away.
If necessary, the ring 1 can also be divided into 8 individual sections 5 by separating the ring along the perforation lines 4. These can be used as refreshing towels, for example for cleaning hands.
As an embodiment variant, it is also conceivable that the tines 20 are dispensed with from the outset, as a result of which there is no need to make incisions 16, since the cut has an annular shape from the start. The folding process basically remains the same, with only the folding over of the spickle 20 being omitted.
Instead of folding the blank, it could also be rolled and inserted into a cylinder sleeve. The pocket format should not exceed a diameter of 20 mm and a length of 100 mm.
A further variant consists in that the protective ring of the type described is dryly surrounded by a pocket-sized envelope.
