Fig. 1 perspektivisch eine Kugeleckverbindung in auseinandergezogener Darstellung,

6. clamping plug connection according to claim 1, characterized in that the plug part is a corner connecting element and has three pins (2) which are arranged at an angle of 90 "to each other.
The invention relates to a clamp connector according to the preamble of claim 1.
So-called ball corner connections for the construction of racks, mobile decoration structures, trade fair stands etc. are known. Each connecting element consists of a rounded corner part which has three pins projecting at right angles from one another and inserted at the ends into the cavities of profile pieces.
These grooved profile pieces form the edges of the frame and can also be used to fix wall panels. The edges of the wall panels bordered by the profiles protrude into the longitudinal grooves and are thereby held.
In order for the corner connection to be as rigid and stable as possible, the fit of the pins in the cavities must be exact, i.e. there are demands on the manufacturing accuracy of the pins and the profile pieces, which leads to relatively high manufacturing costs. In the known corner connections, the pins are fixed in the profile pieces by means of screws or other mechanical elements, i.e. tools are required to assemble the frame.
The assembly and disassembly of the connection is relatively time-consuming, which is particularly disadvantageous when setting up and dismantling exhibition stands.
The object of the invention is now to avoid the mentioned disadvantages of the known compounds. The aim is to create a stable clamp connector that is inexpensive to manufacture and that allows the assembly and disassembly of frames without any tools. This object is achieved according to the invention by the features in the characterizing part of patent claim 1.
Exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings. Show it:
1 is an exploded perspective view of a ball corner connection,
2 shows a cross section through the pin and the hollow profile piece,
Fig. 3 is a longitudinal section along the line III-III of FIG. 2 and
Fig. 4 shows a longitudinal section through a further embodiment of the connector.
The spherical corner connection shown in the figures comprises a corner piece 1 with three pins 2 projecting perpendicularly from one another. A clip-shaped steel spring 3 is pushed onto each pin 2 from the end face. The spring 3 has a clamping section 4 and a rounded end section 5 projecting from the pin surface.
The legs of the spring 3 are laterally guided in two elongated grooves 6, 7 of the pin 2, which are open towards the end face of the pin 2. The clamping section 4 ensures that the spring 3 is securely clamped on the pin 2.
The corner piece 1 serves to connect three hollow profile pieces 8, in the open ends 9 of which the pins 2 are pushed. The rounded end section 5 of the spring 3 is pressed with tension against the inner wall 10 of the hollow profile piece 8, as a result of which a firm clamping fit of the pin 3 in the cavity of the profile piece 8 is ensured.
The pin surface is set back by the wall thickness of the hollow profile piece 8 with respect to the rounded outer surface 11 of the corner piece 1, as indicated at 12. It is thereby achieved that there is a smooth, stepless transition between the likewise rounded outer surface 13 of the hollow profile piece 8 and the outer surface 11 of the corner piece.
The corner piece and the profile pieces can be made of plastic or metal (e.g. light metal). No great demands are made on the manufacturing accuracy. The spring is made of corrosion-resistant steel, e.g.
made of chrome nickel steel.
The clamp connector described is particularly suitable for light frames, for exhibition stands that need to be quickly assembled and disassembled. As a result of the simple plug-in connection without screws and other mechanical elements, assembly can be carried out without tools.
The frame can also be provided with wall panels.
For this purpose, the profile pieces 8 have longitudinal grooves 14, in which the edges of the wall panels are fixed.
4, the inner wall 10 of the profile piece 8 has an elevation 15, behind which the end section 5 of the spring 3 is engaged. This increases the security against unintentional loosening of the connection.
The clamp connector is also suitable for other applications, e.g. for a straight connection of two profile pieces or for the end closure of a single profile piece.
