PATENTANSPRÜCHE
1. Wandelement mit einer Wandhülle und mit einem Kern, dessen Dicke ein Mehrfaches der Dicke der Wandhülle beträgt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Wandhülle (8) aus Pappe, Wellpappe, oder Folie und der Kern (4) aus Wellpappe mit in Längsrichtung des Wandelementes verlaufenden Wellenrücken und Wellentälern besteht und dass die Wandhülle und der Kern mittels einer Klebstoffschicht mindestens teilweise miteinander verbunden sind.
2. Wandelement nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kern (4) aus einer doppelseitigen Wellpappe gebildet ist, deren Wellpapier mit einer Steife versehen ist.
3. Wandelement nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei aus Wellpappe bestehender Wandhülle (8) die Wellenrücken und die Wellentäler quer zu den Wellenrücken und den Wellentälern des Kernes (4) angeordnet sind.
4. Wandelement nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwei einander gegen überliegende Seiten je eine Verzahnung (2, 3) aufweisen und dass vorspringenden Zähnen (2a, 3a) auf der einen Seite Zahnlücken (2b, 3b) auf der anderen Seite gegenüberliegen und umgekehrt.
5. Wandelement nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass allein die Wandhülle (8) die die Verzahnung (2, 3) bildenden Teile aufweist.
6. Wandelement nach Anspruch 4 oder 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an der Wandhülle (8) an Längsrändern der Wandelemente verlaufende Biegelinien Ausschnitte aufweist, die Zahnlücken (2b, 3b) der Verzahnung (2, 3) bilden, und dass der Kern (4) höchstens bis zum Beginn der Zahnlücken reicht.
7. Wandelement nach einem der Ansprüche 4 oder 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Wandelement (1) im Bereich der Verzahnungen (2, 3) von der Wandhülle (8) gebildete, hintereinander angeordnete Osen zur Aufnahme eines zwei Wandelemente miteinander verbindenden und eine Gelenkachse bildenden Gelenkstabes (11) aufweist.
8. Wandelement nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kern (4) an den kurzen, schmalen Seiten des Wandelementes (1) frei liegt.
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Wandelement entsprechend dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
Ein bekanntes Wandelement der vorgenannten Art hat eine dünne Wandhülle, die eine Aussenhaut sein kann, und einen Kern aus einem Füllmaterial, z. B. Polyurethan. An zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Seiten des Wandelementes ist je eine Verzahnung vorgesehen. Die beiden Verzahnungen sind derart angebracht, dass die Zähne der einen Seite sich in Höhe von Zahnlücken der anderen Seite befinden. Zwei miteinander zu verbindende Wandelemente werden durch ineinander greifende Verzahnungen miteinander verbunden und die Verbindelage wird durch eine einschiebbare Gelenkachse gesichert. Zwei miteinander verbundene Wandelemente können gegenseitig unterschiedliche Schwenklagen einnehmen.
Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein leichtgewichtiges und preiswertes Wandelement zu schaffen. Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Merkmale im Kennzeichnungsteil des Anspruches 1 erfindungsgemäss gelöst. Die Höhe des Wandelementes wird nach dem jeweiligen Verwendungszweck gewählt. Es kann aus einem verhältnismässig billigen Werkstoff, z. B. Wellpappe, bestehen. Der aus Wellpappe bestehende Kern hat im Verhältnis zu seinem Volumen ein geringes Gewicht und ist in Massen billig herzustellen. Ein aus Pappe und/oder Wellpappe bestehendes Wandelement kann nach Gebrauch auf einfache Weise umweltschonend beseitigt werden. Eine auf einer Messe verwendbare Schaustellungswand aus erfindungsgemässen Wandelementen braucht z. B. nicht zurückgesandt zu werden, was den eigentlichen Wert der Schaustellungswand überschreitende Kosten verursachen kann.
Die Merkmale des Anspruches 2 betreffen eine vorteilhafte Weiterbildung der Erfindung.
Eine äusserst preisgünstige und leichtewichtige Ausbildung eines Wandelementes ist durch die Merkmale des Anspruches 3 gekennzeichnet.
Eine vorteilhafte Ausbildung einer Verzahnung wird durch die Merkmale des Anspruches 6 erreicht.
Weiter Vorteile ergeben sich aus den übrigen Ansprüchen, der Beschreibung und der Zeichnung. In dieser sind drei gleiche Wandelemente als Ausführungsbeispiel des Gegenstandes der Erfindung schematisch dargestellt. Es zeigen
Fig. 1 eine Vorderansicht mehrerer miteinander verbundener Wandelemente,
Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht auf ein einzelnes Wandelement in grösserem Massstab.
Gemäss Fig. 1 sind drei Wandelemente 1, la und lb eine ebene Wand bildend nebeneinander aufgestellt und greifen mittels an ihren Längsseiten angeordneten Verzahnungen 2, 3 ineinander ein. Zähne 2a der auf der einen Seite angeordneten Verzahnung 2 greifen in Zahnlücken 3b einer Verzahnung 3 auf der anderen Seite eines benachbarten Wandelementes ein und Zähne 3a der Verzahnung 2b der Verzahnung 2 des benachbarten Wandelementes ein. Die Zähne 2a, 3a und die Zahnlücken 2b, 3b sind so ausgebildet, dass bei ineinander greifenden Verzahnungen 2, 3 nur ein geringes Spiel vorhanden ist.
Das einzelne Wandelement 1 ist entsprechend Fig. 2 ausgebildet. Es hat einen Kern 4 aus einer doppelseitigen Wellpappe, deren gewellte Papierbahn 5 mit einer Steife getränkt ist und deren Rücken und Wellentäler sich in Längsrichtung des Wandelementes 1 erstrecken, d.h. in lotrechter Richtung, wenn das Wandelement 1 eine lotrechte Lage einnimmt. Die beiden Aussenbahnen 6 und 7 sind in üblicher Weise mit der gewellten Bahn 5 verbunden.
Der Kern 5 ist mit Ausnahme von seinen Schmalseiten von einer Wandhülle 8 umgeben, deren längsseitige Enden 9 stumpf aneinander stossen. Die Wandhülle 8 lässt die Schmalseiten frei. Sie ist mittels einer Klebstoffschicht mindestens teilweise mit dem Kern 4 verbunden.
An den Längsseiten des Wandelementes 1 sind im Bereich der Verzahnungen 2, 3 zwischen dem Kern 4 und der Wandhülle 8 von dieser an drei Seiten umgebene Hohlräume 10 vorgesehen, die zum Einstecken eines zwei Wandelemente miteinander verbindenden und als Gelenkachse dienenden Gelenkstabes 11 dienen. Die in Fig. 1 dargestellten Gelenkstäbe sind aus Gründen der Darstellung die Wandelemente 1, la, lb überragend eingezeichnet. Der Gelenkstab 11 entspricht in seiner Länge etwa der Höhe des Wandelementes 1, la, lb.
Die Verzahnungen 2, 3 sind nur in die Wandhülle 8 in Form von rechteckigen oder quadratischen Ausnehmungen eingeschnitten. Die Kanten der Wandhüllen 8 sind durch an deren Zuschnitt angebrachten Biegelinien 11 bestimmt. Die Wandhülle 8 besteht beim Ausführungsbeispiel aus einer feinwelligen Wellpappe, deren Wellenrücken und Wellentä ler senkrecht zu den Wellenrücken und Wellentälern des Kernes 4 angeordnet sind. Die Wandhülle 8 kann auch aus Pappe, Folie oder dgl. bestehen.
Bei einer Ausbildung der Wandelemente zur Benutzung
auf einer Messe oder dgl. haben diese eine Höhe von 180 cm und eine Breite von 48 cm. Die Gelenkstäbe 11 bestehen aus Kunststoff oder einem anderen geeigneten Werkstoff. Die Aussenseite der Wandhülle kann mit Bildern versehen werden. Es ist auch möglich, drei Trennwände in Draufsicht gesehen U-förmig aufzustellen und an zwei einander gegenüber liegenden Wänden Regalleisten zum Auflegen von Regalbrettern anzuordnen. Mehr als zwei Trennwände können eine rundum geschlossene Säule bilden.
Die Wandelemente sind leichtgewichtig, verwindungssteif, leicht zu tranportieren, preisgünstig und können nach Gebrauch in einfacher Weise vernichtet werden.

PATENT CLAIMS
1. The invention relates to a wall element according to the preamble of claim 1.

Toothing is provided on each of two opposite sides of the wall element. The two teeth are attached in such a way that the teeth on one side are at the level of tooth gaps on the other side. Two wall elements to be connected to each other are connected to each other by interlocking gears and the connection position is secured by an insertable hinge axis. Two interconnected wall elements can take on different pivot positions.
The present invention has for its object to provide a lightweight and inexpensive wall element. This object is achieved according to the invention by the features in the characterizing part of claim 1. The height of the wall element is chosen according to the intended use. It can be made of a relatively cheap material, e.g. B. corrugated cardboard. The core made of corrugated cardboard has a low weight in relation to its volume and can be mass-produced cheaply. A wall element made of cardboard and / or corrugated cardboard can be easily removed in an environmentally friendly manner after use. A display wall made of wall elements according to the invention that can be used at a trade fair needs, for. B. not to be returned, which can cause costs that exceed the actual value of the display wall.
The features of claim 2 relate to an advantageous development of the invention.

According to FIG. 1, three wall elements 1, 1 a and 1 b are set up next to one another to form a flat wall and engage in one another by means of toothings 2, 3 arranged on their long sides. Teeth 2a of the toothing 2 arranged on one side engage in tooth gaps 3b of a toothing 3 on the other side of an adjacent wall element and teeth 3a of the toothing 2b of the toothing 2 of the adjacent wall element. The teeth 2a, 3a and the tooth gaps 2b, 3b are designed in such a way that there is only a small amount of play when the teeth 2, 3 interlock.
The individual wall element 1 is designed in accordance with FIG. 2. It has a core 4 made of double-sided corrugated cardboard, the corrugated paper web 5 of which is impregnated with a stiff and whose back and troughs extend in the longitudinal direction of the wall element 1, i.e. in the vertical direction when the wall element 1 assumes a vertical position. The two outer webs 6 and 7 are connected in a conventional manner to the corrugated web 5.
With the exception of its narrow sides, the core 5 is surrounded by a wall covering 8, the longitudinal ends 9 of which abut each other. The wall cover 8 leaves the narrow sides free. It is at least partially connected to the core 4 by means of an adhesive layer.
On the longitudinal sides of the wall element 1, cavities 10 are provided in the region of the toothings 2, 3 between the core 4 and the wall cover 8, which cavities surround the sides and serve to insert a joint rod 11 connecting two wall elements and serving as a hinge axis. For the sake of illustration, the articulated rods shown in FIG. 1 are drawn in such a way that the wall elements 1, 1 a, 1 b protrude. The length of the joint rod 11 corresponds approximately to the height of the wall element 1, la, lb.
The teeth 2, 3 are only cut into the wall cover 8 in the form of rectangular or square recesses. The edges of the wall coverings 8 are determined by bending lines 11 attached to their cut.
