EMI5.3
70-100%, bzw. 80-100%, bzw. 90-100% aufweisen. Die l/l-Richttypstärke ist gemäss Norm DIN 54 000, resp. ISO-Norm R-105/I, 1959, Part. 1, definiert.

EMI5.3
In the compounds of formula (I) the anion Ae can be exchanged for other anions, e.g. by means of an ion exchanger or by reaction with salts or acids, optionally in several stages, e.g. via the hydroxide or via the bicarbonate or in accordance with German Offenlegungsschriften 2 001 748 or 2 001 816.
The anion Ae that can be used is that customary in basic dye chemistry; mainly non-chromophoric anions are suitable.
Anion Ae means both organic and inorganic ions, e.g. Halogen, such as chloride or bromide, also sulfate, bisulfate, methyl sulfate, aminosulfonate, perchlorate, benzenesulfonate, oxalate, maleinate, acetate, propionate, lactate, succinate, tartrate, Malate, methanesulfonate or benzoate ions or complex anions, such as that of double chlorine salts, as well as the anions of the following acids; Boric acid, citric acid, glycolic acid, diglycolic acid or adipic acid or addition products of ortho-boric acid with polyalcohols or cis-polyols.
The diamines of the formula (IV) and the coupling components of the formula (V) are known per se or can be prepared by known methods. The coupling can be carried out according to known methods. It is advantageous to couple in aqueous, acidic or neutral or alkaline medium at temperatures from -10 ° C. to room temperature, if appropriate in the presence of a coupling accelerator such as pyridine, urea, etc.
The coupling can also be used in a mixture of solvents such as e.g. Carry out water and an organic solvent.
Preferred compounds of the formula (I) are those whose cationic or basic molecular weight is 40 (r1200, in particular 450-1000 and in particular 500-950.
The compounds according to the invention are dyes and are used for dyeing, padding or printing on
Textile material such as cellulosic material e.g. of natural or regenerated cellulose, for example of cotton, mercerized cotton, leached cotton,
Hemp, sisal, jute and flax fabrics, etc.
Dyeing is carried out using the exhaust process, e.g. from long or short liquors, at room temperature to boiling temperature, optionally under pressure, the liquor ratio being from 1: 1 to 1: 100 and preferably from 1:20 to 1:50.
If you dye from a short liquor, the liquor ratio is 1: 5 to 1:15; the pH of the dyeing liquors fluctuates mainly between 3 and 10. The exhaust dyeing can be carried out in the presence of electrolytes, but it is advantageous to dye in the absence of electrolytes, i.e.
additional electrolyte that is not from dye production or in the presence of a small amount of electrolyte; dyeing mainly in the presence of 0-20 g / l, or 0-10 g / l, or 0-5 gil or 0-2 g / l liquor of an electrolyte added to the dyebath, e.g. in the presence of alkali or alkaline earth metal salts, for example sodium sulfate or in particular sodium chloride.
The printing with the dyes according to the invention takes place by impregnation with a printing paste which contains a dye, water, optionally an organic acid, e.g.
Acetic acid, formic acid and optionally an electrolyte and a thickener and then fixation on the fiber.
The printing paste is printed on using stencils or rollers, the printing is dried if necessary and the dye, e.g. by steaming, e.g. fixed at temperatures around 100 C and the printing finished. The dye can be fixed by the pad-steam process or by the thermosol process or pad-roll process, temperatures above 230 ° C. being avoided.
The dyeing or printing is worked up by methods known per se. The dyes according to the invention are mainly important because they have a high substantivity.
Dyeing, padding or printing are carried out, in particular dyes according to the invention, which, expressed in percentages, correspond to the following mounting conditions or degree of exhaustion: after 90 minutes at boiling temperature, the dyes should be mercerized in an electrolyte-free bath with a liquor ratio of 1:20 in 1 / l standard type strength Cotton (yarn strand dyeing) dyed, a degree of draw-up (ratio between extracted dye to dye in the bath) of 50-100%, or 70-100%, or 80-100%, or 90-100%. The l / l standard type strength is according to standard DIN 54 000, respectively. ISO standard R-105 / I, 1959, Part 1, defined.
The dyes have on cellulose fibers, e.g. Cotton, dyed good light fastness and wet fastness, e.g.
Water, wash, sweat, peroxide and chlorine fastness.
The new dyes and their preparations are also suitable for dyeing paper e.g. for the production of colored, sized and unsized paper. However, they can also be used for dyeing paper after the immersion process. The dyeing of paper is carried out according to known methods.
The new dyes practically do not dye the wastewater at all, or only little, which is particularly beneficial for keeping the water clean. They do not mottled on paper and are largely pH-insensitive. The dyeings on paper are characterized by good lightfastness properties. After prolonged exposure, the shade changes tone-on-tone. The colored papers are wet-fast, not only against water, but also against milk, fruit juices and sweetened mineral water and, due to their good alcohol fastness, also resistant to alcoholic beverages.
The dyes have good shade stability when dyed on paper.
The new compounds can be converted into coloring preparations. Processing into stable, liquid dyeing preparations can be carried out in a generally known manner, advantageously by dissolving in suitable solvents, optionally with the addition of an auxiliary, e.g. a stabilizer; for example, according to the information in French Patent No. 1,572,030.
The dyes are also suitable for dyeing or printing leather using known methods.
The dyes can also be used for dyeing, padding or printing fibers, threads or textiles made therefrom, which consist of synthetic polyamides modified by acidic groups or synthetic polyesters which are modified by acidic groups or contain such .
The dyeing of this textile material can, as is customary with basic dyes, advantageously take place from acidic or neutral, aqueous liquor in a liquor ratio of 1: 3 to 1:80 and at temperatures from 60 C to 100 C or under pressure at over 100 C. The dyeing can be carried out with the addition of the usual auxiliaries, e.g. Dodecyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride as a retarder or as e.g. Stearyl alcohol with 50 moles of ethylene oxide as a non-ionic aid or e.g. Benzyloxypropionitrile as a color accelerator.
Acid-modified polyamides are described, for example, in US Pat. Nos. 3,093,990 and 3,454,351. Acid-modified polyesters are known from Belgian patent 549 179 and from US patent 2,893,810. When dyeing leather or when dyeing basic dyeable polyamide or basic dyeable polyester, the information about the pull-out quotient or the molecular weight as stated when dyeing cellulose does not apply.

Staining instructions A
In a Dutch company, 70 parts of chemically bleached sulfite cellulose (from softwood) and 30 parts of chemically bleached sulfite cellulose (from birch wood) are ground in 2000 parts of water. 0.2 part of the dye described in Example 1 is sprinkled into this mass. After 20 minutes of mixing, paper is made from this mass. The absorbent paper obtained in this way is colored yellow. The wastewater is practically colorless.
Dyeing Instructions B
0.5 part of the dye from Example 1 is dissolved in 100 parts of hot water and cooled to room temperature. This solution is added to 100 parts of chemically bleached sulfite cellulose, which has been ground in a Dutchman with 2000 parts of water. After 15 minutes of mixing, sizing takes place. Paper made from this material has a yellow shade of medium intensity with good wet fastness properties.
Staining instructions C
An absorbent paper web made from unsized paper is drawn at 40-50 through a dye solution of the following composition:
0.5 part of the dye from Example 1
0.5 parts starch and
99.0 parts water.
The excess dye solution is pressed off by two rollers. The dried paper web is colored yellow.
The same good paper dyeings are obtained if equivalent amounts according to Example a (liquid preparation) or Example b (granulate preparation) are added in the above dyeing instructions A, B and C.
Dyeing Instructions D
2 parts of the dye according to Example 1 are dissolved in 4000 parts of softened water at 40. 100 parts of pre-wetted cotton fabric are introduced into the bath and the bath is heated to boiling temperature in 30 minutes. The bath is kept at the cooking temperature for one hour and the evaporated water is replaced from time to time. The dye is then removed from the liquor, rinsed with water and dried. The dye absorbs the fiber practically quantitatively; the dye bath is practically colorless. A yellow color is obtained with good light fastness and good wet fastness properties.
Dyeing Instructions E
Acid-modified polyamide fibers are placed in an aqueous bath at 20 C in a liquor ratio of 1:80, which contains 3.6 g of sodium hydrogen sulfate, 0.7 g of disodium hydrogen sulfate, 1 g of an auxiliary, such as e.g. contains a reaction product of a phenol with excess ethylene oxide and 0.15 g of the dye described in Example 1 (or the corresponding amount of a solid or liquid preparation of this dye). The mixture is heated to boiling in about 30 minutes and the bath is kept at this temperature for 60 minutes. After rinsing and drying, a yellow color is obtained with good fastness properties. With the dyes of Examples 2-6, dyeings with similarly good properties with the nuances mentioned are obtained on the same substrate.
Acid-modified polyester material can be dyed similarly.
Staining instructions F
