   REVENDICATIONS
 1. Procédé de fabrication de tuyaux (ou gaines) marqués en matériau thermoformable, caractérisé par le fait qu'on chauffe un ruban d'une matière thermoformable, compatible avec celle formant le corps du tuyau (ou de la gaine), à une température au plus égale à sa température de thermoformage, qu'on applique ce ruban préchauffé contre la surface externe du tuyau (ou de la gaine) juste   aprés    son extrusion hors de la filière, ce ruban étant entraîné par le tuyau (ou la gaine) dans la calibreuse, de telle sorte que le ruban soit incorporé par thermosoudage à la paroi du tuyau (ou de la gaine).



   2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que les rubans sont chauffés par la chaleur dissipée par l'extrudeuse, la filière d'extrusion et le tuyau (ou la gaine) de la filière.



   3. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait qu'on place un fil métallique entre au moins une bande de marquage et la paroi du tuyau (ou de la gaine), ce fil étant maintenu en place par le thermosoudage de la bande.



   4. Dispositif pour la mise en   oeuvre    du procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte au moins un guide dont la position est réglable, pour délivrer un ruban de marquage à proximité immédiate de la surface externe d'un tuyau (ou d'une gaine) sortant d'une extrudeuse.



   5. Dispositif selon la revendication 4, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte au moins une bobine débitrice de rubans pour chaque guide.



   6. Dispositif selon la revendication 5, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte au moins une bobine de réserve.



   7. Dispositif selon la revendication 4, caractérisé par le fait que les guides sont montés à l'aide de fixations réglables sur une calibreuse située en aval de l'extrudeuse.



   8. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 4 à 7, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte des moyens délivrant un fil métallique entre au moins un ruban et la paroi du tuyau (ou de la gaine).



   9. Tuyau (ou gaine) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte au moins un ruban, de couleur différente de la sienne, thermosoudé le long d'une de ses génératrices.



   10. Tuyau (ou gaine) selon la revendication 9, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte plusieurs bandes de marquage de couleurs différentes.



   11. Tuyau (ou gaine) selon la revendication 10, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte, sous au moins une bande de marquage, un fil métallique continu ou discontinu.



   La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de fabrication de tuyaux (ou gaines) en matière synthétique thermoformable, présentant un marquage.



   La fabrication de tuyaux (ou gaines) en matière thermoformable, tels les polyoléfines par exemple, s'effectue à partir de granulés de cette matière synthétique que   l'on    chauffe à leur température de thermoformage, puis extrude dans une filière. A la sortie de la filière, le tuyau formé est introduit dans une calibreuse dans laquelle le tuyau formé est appliqué contre un guide cylindrique d'un diamètre interne correspondant au diamètre externe désiré du tuyau par mise sous dépression de l'espace entourant ledit guide, ce dernier présentant des orifices. Simultanément à son calibrage, le tuyau est refroidi de manière à stabiliser ses dimensions. A la sortie de la calibreuse, le tuyau fabriqué est coupé de longueur.



   Pour de nombreuses applications et notamment pour les tuyaux d'eau, de gaz, ou destinés à former des passages de câbles, il est indiqué de les marquer avec des bandes longitudinales de couleur, les tuyaux, eux, étant généralement noirs, couleur qui résiste le mieux au vieillisement.



   On a proposé de fabriquer de tels tuyaux marqués en utilisant une filière multiple alimentée en matière noire pour le corps du tuyau et en un matériau bleu, jaune ou rouge, pour constituer des portions radiales de la paroi de tuyau. Ce mode de faire est complique et onéreux, car il nécessite une filière complexe alimentée par deux matériaux de couleurs différentes acheminés chacun par une boudineuse particulière.



   Le procédé de fabrication de tuyaux (ou gaines) marqués en matériau thermoformable selon l'invention se distingue par le fait qu'on chauffe un ruban d'un matériau thermoformable, compatible avec celui formant le corps du tuyau (ou de la gaine), à une température au plus égale à sa température de thermoformage, qu'on applique ce ruban préchauffé contre la surface externe du tuyau (ou de la gaine) juste après son extrusion hors de la filière, ce ruban étant entraîné par le tuyau (ou la gaine) dans la calibreuse, de telle sorte que le ruban soit incorporé par thermosoudage à la paroi du tuyau (ou de la gaine).



   L'invention a encore pour objet un dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé décrit qui comporte au moins un guide dont la position est réglable, pour délivrer un ruban de marquage à proximité immédiate de la surface externe d'un tuyau (ou d'une gaine) sortant d'une extrudeuse.



   Enfin, l'invention a pour objet un tuyau (ou une gaine) selon le présent procédé, comportant au moins un ruban de couleur différente de la sienne, thermosoudé le long d'une de ses génératrices.



   Le dessin annexé illustre schématiquement et à titre d'exemple un tuyau obtenu par le procédé et une forme d'exécution d'un dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé.



   La fig. 1 illustre un tronçon d'un tuyau marqué.



   La fig. 2 illustre schématiquement le dispositif selon l'invention.



   La fig. 3 est un détail à plus grande échelle du dispositif illustré à la fig. 2.



   La fabrication du tuyau marqué est réalisée par l'extrusion, au travers d'une filière, d'une masse de matière synthétique thermoformable amenée à sa température de thermoformage. Immédiatement à la sortie de la filière, le tuyau, encore à une température voisine de celle de thermoformage, reçoit en plusieurs endroits de sa périphérie un ruban en matière thermoformable compatible avec celle du tuyau mais coloré d'une couleur différente. Le tuyau muni de ses rubans est alors introduit dans une calibreuse dont la filière d'entrée applique fortement le ou les rubans contre le tuyau et provoque le thermosoudage de ceux-ci sur la paroi externe du tuyau.



   Le tuyau I obtenu comporte alors des bandes logitudinales de marquage colorées.



   Les avantages de ce procédé sont principalement les suivants: - On n'utilise qu'une seule extrudeuse, ce qui diminue le coût de
 l'installation.



  - Le choix du marquage est entièrement libre. On peut, en cours de
 production, remplacer un ruban de marquage par un autre d'une
 autre couleur sans arrêter la production.



     Il    permet l'utilisation de matière synthétique thermoformable
 noire pour la fabrication du tuyau, matière qui résiste particuliè
 rement bien aux rayons ultraviolets; le marquage peut être jaune,
 bleu ou rouge, sa tenue aux UV n'est pas importante, puisque les
 rubans de marquage ne participent pas à la résistance du tuyau.



   - La paroi du tuyau n'est pas affaiblie aux endroits du marquage,
 et cela même si le soudage des rubans n'est pas parfait sur toute
 leur longueur, car ces rubans ne participent pas à la résistance du
 tuyau, contrairement à ce qui se passe dans les tuyaux fabriqués
 à l'aide d'une filière complexe alimentée par deux extrudeuses
 car, dans ce cas, la section des bandes de marquage n'est pas né
 gligeable, ce qui diminue l'épaisseur du tuyau aux endroits cor
 respondants.



   Le dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé décrit est illustré aux fig. 2 et 3. A l'endroit où le tuyau 1 sort de la filière 3 de l'extrudeuse 4 se trouve l'extrémité de guides 5 dont la position est réglable. Ces guides servent de support d'acheminement à des rubans 2 en matière thermoformable, de couleurs différentes de celle du tuyau.  



  La position des guides, et notamment de leurs extrémités, est déter



  minée de telle sorte que la chaleur dégagée par la filière 3 et par le tuyau I sortant de l'extrudeuse 4 amène les rubans, dont l'inertie thermique est très faible, à la température de thermoformage là où ils rencontrent la paroi extérieure du tuyau. Ainsi appliqués contre le tuyau 1, ces rubans 2 sont entraînés par celui-ci et sont appliqués fortement contre ce tuyau par la bague d'entrée 6 d'une calibreuse 7 qui est munie d'une enceinte de refroidissement 8 du tuyau formé et marqué.



   Un support 9 porte des bobines 10 débitrices de rubans. Ces bobines sont facilement interchangeables pour remplacer une bobine vide par une bobine pleine. Pour faciliter le changement de rubans lorsqu'une bobine 10 est vide, le support peut comporter des bobines de réserve pleines. Il suffit, lorsqu'une bobine est vide, de prendre le ruban d'une bobine de réserve, de l'introduire dans le guide à la suite de l'extrémité terminale du ruban précédent et de l'amener contre la surface du tuyau 1.



   Il est évident que le tuyau 1 peut comporter une ou plusieurs bandes de marquage, par exemple 4, 6 ou 8. Grâce à ce procédé et à ce dispositif décrits, le tuyau 1 peut être marqué à l'aide d'une combinaison de couleur, par exemple trois bandes rouges et trois bandes bleues alternées. De tels marquages multicolores sont pratiquement impossibles à réaliser à l'aide de filières complexes, car l'installation devrait comporter une extrudeuse pour chaque couleur.



   Comme on le voit sur la fig. 3, les guides 5 sont portés par un flasque 11 de la calibreuse à l'aide de fixations réglables 12 permettant un réglage radial et axial par rapport au tuyau 1 de l'extrémité de chaque guide 5 pour assurer le positionnement correct du ruban par rapport à la surface du tuyau.



   Les tuyaux flexibles 13 sont des tuyaux d'aspiration créant une dépression dans la calibreuse 7 autour du tuyau 1.



   Pour permettre un repérage des tuyaux plastiques enterrés à l'aide des moyens traditionnels, tels des détecteurs de métaux, on peut, lors du thermosoudage d'une bande de marquage, placer un fil métallique entre cette bande et la paroi du tuyau. Ainsi, le tuyau marqué terminé incorpore, sous une ou plusieurs bandes de marquage, une masse métallique qui permet sa détection ultérieure.



   Des moyens peuvent être prévus pour délivrer, en même temps que la bande de marquage ou séparément, le fil métallique en continu.



   Le fil peut être remplacé par un ruban métallique moins large que le ruban de marquage. L'élément métallique peut être en continu ou discontinu.



   Il est évident que ce système de marquage peut être appliqué à d'autres éléments que des tuyaux, par exemple à des gaines de câblerie ou des gaines de protection, pour autant, bien entendu, que ces éléments soient réalisés en matière synthétique thermoformable.

   CLAIMS
 1. A method of manufacturing marked pipes (or sheaths) in thermoformable material, characterized in that one heats a ribbon of a thermoformable material, compatible with that forming the body of the pipe (or sheath), at a temperature at most equal to its thermoforming temperature, that this preheated tape is applied against the external surface of the pipe (or of the sheath) just after its extrusion out of the die, this tape being driven by the pipe (or the sheath) in the grader, so that the ribbon is incorporated by heat sealing on the wall of the pipe (or sheath).



   2. Method according to claim 1, characterized in that the ribbons are heated by the heat dissipated by the extruder, the extrusion die and the pipe (or sheath) of the die.



   3. Method according to claim 1, characterized in that a metal wire is placed between at least one marking strip and the wall of the pipe (or of the sheath), this wire being held in place by the heat sealing of the strip .



   4. Device for implementing the method according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises at least one guide whose position is adjustable, for delivering a marking tape in the immediate vicinity of the external surface of a pipe (or a sheath) coming out of an extruder.



   5. Device according to claim 4, characterized in that it comprises at least one reel supplying ribbons for each guide.



   6. Device according to claim 5, characterized in that it comprises at least one reserve coil.



   7. Device according to claim 4, characterized in that the guides are mounted using adjustable fasteners on a grader located downstream of the extruder.



   8. Device according to one of claims 4 to 7, characterized in that it comprises means delivering a metal wire between at least one strip and the wall of the pipe (or of the sheath).



   9. Pipe (or sheath) according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises at least one ribbon, of a color different from its own, heat-sealed along one of its generatrices.



   10. Pipe (or sheath) according to claim 9, characterized in that it comprises several marking bands of different colors.



   11. Pipe (or sheath) according to claim 10, characterized in that it comprises, under at least one marking strip, a continuous or discontinuous metal wire.



   The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing pipes (or sheaths) in thermoformable synthetic material, having a marking.



   The manufacture of pipes (or sheaths) of thermoformable material, such as polyolefins for example, is carried out from granules of this synthetic material which are heated to their thermoforming temperature, then extruded in a die. At the outlet of the die, the formed pipe is introduced into a grader in which the formed pipe is applied against a cylindrical guide of an internal diameter corresponding to the desired external diameter of the pipe by placing under vacuum the space surrounding said guide, the latter having orifices. Simultaneously with its calibration, the pipe is cooled so as to stabilize its dimensions. At the outlet of the grader, the manufactured pipe is cut to length.



   For many applications and in particular for water pipes, gas pipes, or intended to form cable passages, it is advisable to mark them with colored longitudinal bands, the pipes themselves being generally black, color which resists best at aging.



   It has been proposed to manufacture such marked pipes using a multiple die supplied with black material for the body of the pipe and with a blue, yellow or red material, to constitute radial portions of the pipe wall. This mode of operation is complicated and expensive, because it requires a complex die fed by two materials of different colors each conveyed by a particular extruder.



   The process for manufacturing marked pipes (or sheaths) in thermoformable material according to the invention is distinguished by the fact that a strip of thermoformable material is heated, compatible with that forming the body of the pipe (or sheath), at a temperature at most equal to its thermoforming temperature, that this preheated tape is applied against the external surface of the pipe (or of the sheath) just after its extrusion out of the die, this tape being driven by the pipe (or the sheath) in the grader, so that the ribbon is incorporated by heat sealing into the wall of the pipe (or sheath).



   The invention also relates to a device for implementing the described method which comprises at least one guide whose position is adjustable, for delivering a marking tape in the immediate vicinity of the external surface of a pipe (or a sheath) coming out of an extruder.



   Finally, the subject of the invention is a pipe (or sheath) according to the present method, comprising at least one ribbon of a color different from its own, heat-sealed along one of its generatrices.



   The attached drawing illustrates schematically and by way of example a pipe obtained by the method and an embodiment of a device for carrying out the method.



   Fig. 1 illustrates a section of a marked pipe.



   Fig. 2 schematically illustrates the device according to the invention.



   Fig. 3 is a detail on a larger scale of the device illustrated in FIG. 2.



   The manufacture of the marked pipe is carried out by the extrusion, through a die, of a mass of thermoformable synthetic material brought to its thermoforming temperature. Immediately at the outlet of the die, the pipe, still at a temperature close to that of thermoforming, receives in several places around its periphery a strip of thermoformable material compatible with that of the pipe but colored with a different color. The pipe provided with its ribbons is then introduced into a grading machine, the inlet die of which strongly applies the ribbons or ribbons against the pipe and causes the latter to heat seal on the external wall of the pipe.



   The pipe I obtained then comprises logitudinal bands of colored marking.



   The advantages of this process are mainly as follows: - Only one extruder is used, which reduces the cost of
 the installation.



  - The choice of marking is entirely free. We can, during
 production, replace a marking tape by another of a
 other color without stopping production.



     It allows the use of thermoformable synthetic material
 black for the manufacture of the pipe, material which resists particuli
 quite well with UV rays; the marking can be yellow,
 blue or red, its UV resistance is not important, since the
 marking tapes do not participate in the resistance of the pipe.



   - The wall of the pipe is not weakened at the places of the marking,
 even if the welding of the tapes is not perfect on all
 their length, because these ribbons do not participate in the resistance of the
 pipe, unlike what happens in manufactured pipes
 using a complex die fed by two extruders
 because, in this case, the section of the marking strips was not born
 igigeable, which decreases the thickness of the pipe at the cor
 respondents.



   The device for implementing the method described is illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3. At the place where the pipe 1 leaves the die 3 of the extruder 4 is the end of guides 5 whose position is adjustable. These guides serve as a routing support for ribbons 2 made of thermoformable material, of colors different from that of the pipe.



  The position of the guides, and in particular of their ends, is determined



  mined in such a way that the heat released by the die 3 and by the pipe I leaving the extruder 4 brings the ribbons, whose thermal inertia is very low, to the thermoforming temperature where they meet the outside wall of the pipe . Thus applied against the pipe 1, these ribbons 2 are driven by the latter and are applied strongly against this pipe by the inlet ring 6 of a grader 7 which is provided with a cooling enclosure 8 of the pipe formed and marked .



   A support 9 carries coils 10 supplying ribbons. These coils are easily interchangeable to replace an empty coil with a full coil. To facilitate the change of ribbons when a reel 10 is empty, the support may include full reserve reels. It suffices, when a reel is empty, to take the ribbon from a reserve reel, to introduce it into the guide following the terminal end of the preceding ribbon and to bring it against the surface of the pipe 1 .



   It is obvious that the pipe 1 can have one or more marking bands, for example 4, 6 or 8. Thanks to this described method and device, the pipe 1 can be marked using a color combination , for example three red bands and three alternating blue bands. Such multi-colored markings are practically impossible to carry out using complex dies, since the installation should include an extruder for each color.



   As seen in fig. 3, the guides 5 are carried by a flange 11 of the grader using adjustable fasteners 12 allowing a radial and axial adjustment relative to the pipe 1 of the end of each guide 5 to ensure the correct positioning of the ribbon relative on the surface of the pipe.



   The flexible pipes 13 are suction pipes creating a vacuum in the grader 7 around the pipe 1.



   To allow identification of buried plastic pipes using traditional means, such as metal detectors, it is possible, when heat-sealing a marking strip, to place a metal wire between this strip and the wall of the pipe. Thus, the finished marked pipe incorporates, under one or more marking strips, a metallic mass which allows its subsequent detection.



   Means may be provided for delivering, at the same time as the marking strip or separately, the metallic wire continuously.



   The wire can be replaced by a metal tape which is narrower than the marking tape. The metallic element can be continuous or discontinuous.



   It is obvious that this marking system can be applied to elements other than pipes, for example to cable sheaths or protective sheaths, provided, of course, that these elements are made of thermoformable synthetic material.
