The present invention relates to a device for producing tubular products made of plastic, in particular glass fiber-reinforced plastic, in the rotary process, with a hollow mold which can be rotated by a rotating device for receiving the plastic mass.
Devices are known for producing silos and the like, in which plastic and glass fibers are introduced into a hollow mold which is rotated by a rotating device. The resin is evenly distributed in the mold by centrifugal forces. After curing, a tubular product can then be removed from the mold. The products manufactured in this way are usually up to four meters in diameter. Products with larger diameters represent transport problems, so that their manufacture is generally not worthwhile.
In order to be able to produce tubular products with diameters larger than four meters, mobile devices are already known in which a tubular product is produced by winding glass fibers and applying plastic to a mold.
However, these devices have the disadvantage that a relatively complicated device is required, which also places high demands on the operating personnel. It is particularly disadvantageous that the roof and the bottom of a container still have to be assembled from prefabricated elements or have to be produced on site by manually coating a mold.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a device with which tubular products made of plastic with diameters of over four meters can be produced in a relatively simple manner at the intended location of the containers, tanks or silos.
According to the present invention, this is achieved in that, in a device of the type mentioned at the outset, the shape and / or the pouring head are arranged pivotably on a vehicle. This enables the mold to be brought from a position with a practically vertical axis position to a position with a practically horizontal axis position and vice versa. To produce the products, the vehicle travels to the intended location of the container, tank or the like. In order to facilitate transportation, the shape can preferably be dismantled into parts.
The easiest way to assemble the parts is when the axis of rotation of the mold is locked
After the parts have been assembled, the mold can then be pivoted into the position of use in which the axis of rotation is horizontal. However, the pivotability of the mold has another advantage. It is in fact possible to close off the hollow shape on one side by an approximately circular disk-shaped molded part. With a vertical axis of rotation and a relatively slow rotation speed, synthetic resin and glass fibers can be applied to this molded part to form a container bottom or roof. The molded part is expediently curved so that the curvature of the bottoms which is desired for containers for static reasons is produced.
The hollow form is expediently provided at at least one end with a concentric groove for forming flanges on the product. This allows the manufacture of products that can be stacked on top of one another to produce a container of any size.
A loading device is expediently equipped with a device for leveling the inner surfaces of the product. This allows the device to also be used to produce sandwich-type products in which a foam plastic layer is arranged between two plastic layers. To produce the result, the procedure can be such that a plastic layer is first produced using the rotation process and then a foam plastic layer is created. After the foam plastic layer has hardened, the irregular surface of this layer is leveled, after which the inner plastic layer can be applied.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the device according to the invention is shown and described below. Show it:

Fig. 3 is a side view of the device, consisting of the shape shown in section with loading device, in a horizontal position for the pouring of the soil, built on a semi-trailer vehicle.
FIG. 4 shows a top view of the device according to FIG. 3 and the loading unit according to FIG. 2.
Fig. 5 is a side view of FIG. 3 with the mold open for molding the finished product. The finished product is lifted out of the open mold using a construction crane.
FIG. 6 shows a top view of the device according to FIG. 5 with the loading device pivoted to the side and the possible locations of the silo to be set up.
Fig. 7 is a side view of a silo shown in the construction, consisting of several cylinder joints. The illustration shows the already completed upper part, supported by lifting elements, and the next element, which is pushed underneath.
8 is a plan view of the process of FIG. 7th
A two-part hollow mold 1 is constructed on a rotating device 12 in such a way that the two half-shells are each fastened on a slide so that they can be moved apart radially. The guides that hold the two carriages form a rigid frame 14, which is rotatably supported and driven in the center. The whole sits at the outer end of a cantilever arm 15, which is articulated in the rear on a saddle vehicle 2 and can be raised and lowered by a hydraulic cylinder 16.
The form 1 has grooves 17 at the ends, which form the connecting flanges on the finished product and at the same time serve for stiffening. In addition, the form 1 has a cover 10 on the side of the bearing. This makes it possible to use the same form with tubular products only To produce flanges like Fig. 9 and Fig. 10 or tubular products with flange and roof 9 + 10. Depending on the diameter, the Form 1 is composed of several sectors, the sizes of which are such that they can be screwed together using the construction crane 8 or dismantled for transport on the road and placed on the rotating device 14 without the permissible mass for road transport exceed. This ensures a completely independent movement of the device from one construction site to the next.
The loading device 3 is fastened to the cantilever arm 15 in such a way that it pivots with the mold 1 into the horizontal and vertical position. The exact distribution of the plastic mass to be charged takes place through the swiveling casting head 18, which is movable in the longitudinal and radial directions. This means that the cylinder 9 and roof 10 can be cast with the same device without retooling. By changing the feed speed of the casting head 18, the wall thickness of the product can be varied depending on the requirements in order to be able to make optimum use of the material. The mold 1 and the loading device 3 are driven by a network-independent system.
The supply of plastic takes place via pressure lines 19 through special conveyors 5 from tanks 4, which are constructed together with the glass fiber magazine 6 on the loading vehicle 7.
For the casting of the cylinder, the mold 1 is lifted into the vertical position as in FIG. 1 and set in rotation. If the plastic mass has hardened, the mold 1 is lowered into the horizontal position as in FIG. 3. If the product with roof 10 is used, for example, as the uppermost element of a silo, the roof 10 is now cast. If the product does not require a roof, the product provided with two flanges can already be molded. The connecting elements on the mold 1 are loosened, the half-shells are moved apart and the product 9 is exposed. If the cover of an element is used below, it lies correctly in the form 1 and can only be lifted off and lowered next to the device 11.
If the lid is used at the top, for example as the uppermost element of a silo, the finished product is lifted out of the opened mold, turned in a hanging manner by means of the rotating device 20 and lowered.
7 so that no scaffolding is required for the construction of a silo consisting of several superimposed elements, the uppermost element consisting of the tubular part and the roof is first produced and raised by a stroke length by means of the lifting devices 21, so that the next element 9 is made possible with the help the support 22 provided with rollers can be pushed underneath. If the lower element is aligned, the upper part is lowered and connected to the lower, which is done by screwing Fig. 9 or gluing Fig. 10 as required.
This device ensures that all work relating to the assembly of a silo can be carried out on the ground, which means the least effort and the greatest possible safety for people and materials.
