Fig. 3 Zu übertragende Information in Form von zwei
Sendeworten.
Fig. 1 zeigt ein Blockschaltbild der Kontrollanlage.

The invention relates to a control system for central registration of the locations of guards, according to the preamble of claim 1.
From the English patent GB-I 140 187 a control system of the type mentioned is known. It consists of a central control point, decentrally distributed guard posts and radio receivers / transmitters carried by the guards. With each guard post, the mobile device is plugged into the guard post, which has a code word in the form of a plug. The mobile device then sends this code word and its own code word. The guard post and the guardian can be identified in the central control point. In the central control point, paper tape is used to store the information, with the aid of which deviations from the specified schedule of the guards etc.
are noticeable. The mobile device is used like a walkie-talkie to transmit alarm messages.
Compared to guard control systems in which key switches have to be operated, the system described has better flexibility and lower installation costs. However, the use of mobile devices comparable to walkie-talkies is not entirely satisfactory for a number of reasons. The devices are relatively large and heavy, which makes them difficult to handle, especially when they are brought together with the guards. There is also the possibility of mutual interference with independent devices transmitting at the same time. Thirdly, emergency calls can go unheard or the mobile devices can be misused as walkie-talkies, which runs counter to their actual function.
The object of the present invention is therefore to provide small, handy, low-power mobile units in which the disadvantages indicated are avoided. In particular, an emergency call should also be able to be triggered even in the event of a direct threat, whereas, on the other hand, misuse of the emergency call triggering can be reliably avoided.
Furthermore, it should be ensured that mutual interference of transmitting devices is excluded and that secure reception is guaranteed even if the transmission and reception conditions are unfavorable in a disturbed environment. The control system that fulfills these tasks is characterized by the features specified in claim 1. The other claims reflect embodiments of the invention.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to three figures. Show it:
Fig. 1 block diagram of the control system
Fig. 2 Refined block diagram of a mobile unit and a guard post.
Fig. 3 Information to be transmitted in the form of two
Broadcast words.
Fig. 1 shows a block diagram of the control system. The
The control system consists of three groups of building blocks that are manipulated due to the manual manipulation of guards
Active connection are brought.
The first block group consists of any number of guard posts 11, of which Fig. 1, the two items
11.1 and 11.2 shows. The guard posts are decentralized and stationary on the area to be monitored, for example one
Factory plant, assembled. They are purely passive and possess
therefore no electrical connections or devices.
In contrast, they have memories 12 each for an individually assigned location code word and a trigger 13 for triggering the functions in the mobile units 20 described below.
The second module group consists of mobile units 20 which are carried by the guards 17 and can be manually brought into operative connection with the guard posts 11. The mobile units are battery-operated, electronic devices to which individual mobile code words are assigned. In operative connection with the watchman post 11, they take over the respective location code word of the watchman post and transmit this word together with the aforementioned mobile code word wirelessly via a transmitter.
The third module group comprises a central control point 30 with at least one receiver for receiving the code words sent out by the mobile units 20, logic, for example in the form of a small computer, for evaluating the received code words and a display and / or printer unit for making them visible to the operating personnel the inspection body necessary information.
The guard posts 11 have mechanical guides made of any material into which the mobile units 20 can be manually inserted to establish an operative connection with the guard posts. The trigger 13 is arranged in the form of a magnet with respect to the guide; that he switches on this mobile unit when the mobile unit 20 is inserted, thereby simultaneously establishing the complete operative connection between the guard post 11 and the mobile unit 20.
The control system works as follows: Each watchdog 17 carries with him a mobile unit 20 assigned to him. According to their watch disposition, the watchmen briefly insert their mobile units 20 into the guides of the prescribed watchman posts 11 at given times.
In this case, the trigger 13 triggers the operational readiness of the mobile unit 20 via a start transmitter. This then reads the location code word of the guard post 11 and accepts it in a memory. A mobile unit transmitter then transmits the read location code word and the permanently stored mobile code word wirelessly to the central control point 30.
This receives the code words and prints them together with the time on a printer. In this way, the information about the whereabouts of the guards identified by the mobile code words of their mobile units is continuously collected and kept available in the control center.
FIG. 2 shows a refined block diagram of a mobile unit 20 and a watchman 11. The memory 12 of the watchman 11 consists of nine permanent magnets and soft iron pieces of uniform shape and size lying next to one another. The hatched magnets form the value logic 1, the non-hatched soft iron pieces the value logic 0. The total of 9 bits are divided into 8 bits for the location code word and a redundancy bit that indicates the parity. The trigger 13 is formed by a further permanent magnet.
The mobile unit 20 has a thick-drawn feed line 40. This can be disconnected from the battery 21 by an automatic switch 41, for example a switching transistor, which is switched via a flip-flop 42. In general, the switch 41 is opened, so that the mobile unit 20 is separated from the battery with its essential components. Only the starter 22 is constantly connected to the battery 21. This starter comprises a Hall generator, which switches when the magnetic field of the trigger magnet 13 occurs in its vicinity. The switching process sets the flip-flop 42 so that the switch 41 switches on. The battery voltage thus appears on the feed line 40, as a result of which the mobile unit 20 is switched ready for operation.
The memory 12 of the guard station 11 is read by a reader 23, which consists of 9 parallel units a to h and p, each unit comprising a Hall generator.
After the switch 41 has been switched on, a logic 47 issues the trigger command for reading the memory 12 via a line 48. The location code word read is subjected to a parity check in an error checker 50. If the parity is correct, the location code word read is stored in a memory 26. If, on the other hand, the parity is not correct, an error alarm is emitted via a signal generator 51, for example a loudspeaker.
The mobile code word assigned to the mobile unit 20 is located in a further memory 27. It consists of 5 bits. A maximum of 32 different mobile code words can be formed by 5 bits, which can be assigned to a corresponding number of mobile units.
The logic 47 initiates via the line 55 the serial transmission of the code words contained in the memories 26 and 27 via the transmitter 28 and its antenna 56. For reasons that lie in the receiver of the central control point 30 to be described later, the code words are transmitted in FIG Form of two immediately consecutive transmission words, on which the code words and additional bits are divided.
In Fig. 3, OCW denotes the location code word and MCW the mobile code word. The location code word consists of bits a to h, the mobile code word consists of bits q to u. The code words OCW and MCW are divided into the transmit words I and II as follows:
Each of the two send words begins with a start bit. This is followed by a distinction between the transmission words I and II for the first and 1 for the second transmission word. Bits a to g of the location code word form the third to ninth bit of the transmission word I. This is followed by the parity bit P1 of the first transmission word and 1 as the stop bit of the first transmission word. Bit h of the location code word OCW forms the third bit of the second transmission word. This is followed by bits q to u of the mobile code word, a bit A to distinguish between alarm and normal messages, a parity bit P2 and stop bit 1 of the second transmission word II.
The transmitter 28 transmits the two described transmission words several times in succession at predetermined time intervals, the time intervals being long compared to the times required for the transmission of the transmission words and the value logic 1 identifying the transmission pauses.
60 is an interval generator which, together with the logic 47, specifies the time intervals at which the transmission of the transmission words is to be repeated. 59 is a counter that counts the number of transmissions in a transmission sequence and emits a stop signal to the logic 47 after a predetermined number of transmissions. The logic then switches switch 42 off via line 44.
61 is a concealed emergency call switch, via which the mobile unit 20 can be activated, whereby an emergency call identified by the described bit A is sent. The switch 61 is concealed. It can be operated with one hand, but only with force and leaving indelible traces. This ensures that the switch is only actuated in real emergencies and that the actuation can be checked. One possible embodiment for this is that a break-out area is provided in the mobile unit housing as a cover for the switch 61.
All mobile units 20 transmit on the same frequency and, as described, differ in the assigned mobile code words. Since it is not predetermined when the mobile units transmit, it is inevitable that from time to time two or more mobile units transmit simultaneously and that transmit words overlap, which then means faulty reception. The interval encoder 60 can remedy this problem.
With a suitable choice of the time intervals between the repeated transmissions, both general disturbances can be dubbed and repeated overlapping of transmissions can be avoided. For example, the time intervals can be constant, but different for each mobile unit 20. With a suitable choice of the interval lengths, this results in at most one overlap of transmissions during two overlapping transmission sequences.
Another possibility is to vary the time intervals during the transmission sequences, for example in such a way that the interval lengths are like 1: 2: 4: 8:16:. . behavior. In this case too, except for the exceptional case, the exact same start of transmission results that, during two overlapping transmission sequences, at most an overlap of transmissions can occur.
After the transmission words have been sent out correctly several times, the mobile unit 20 indicates the completion of the transmission process by briefly lighting up a light-emitting diode 62.
The central control point 30 has a receiver which is matched to the transmission frequency of the mobile units 20 and which receives the transmission sequence of all mobile units and the transmission words transmitted in the process. The receiver regenerates bits a to g and P1 as well as h, q to u, A and P2 by means of an integrated block for the regeneration of 8-bit words.
After parity comparisons for both transmission words with positive results, the central control point 30 has the location code and the mobile code word of the respective transmission sequence available.
If the parity check indicates an error, the next transmission of the transmission sequence is awaited.
The received location and mobile code words can be printed out together with the time directly on a printer. However, it is also possible, by temporarily storing the received information and with the aid of stored additional information, to sort the messages arriving from different mobile units 20 in terms of time, by mobile code and / or by location code, and to print them out. The additional information can consist, for example, of the guardian names that are printed out instead of the received mobile code words. You can also suppress notifications that correspond to the watch dispensers in terms of time and order. In this case, only unexpected events, such as the failure to serve a guard post, are printed out.
Correspondingly, messages can be emphasized or made acoustically noticeable due to the operation of an emergency call switch 61.
The invention allows a number of variations compared to the arrangement described. For example, instead of being equipped with a magnetic memory, the guard posts can be equipped with another passive memory, which is represented, for example, by cams or slots. The interaction with the mobile units 20 can take place via contact-based or contactless reading elements 23.
The parity check by the error checker 50 can take place either in parallel or in series.
The logic 47 can either be composed of individual logic modules or be formed by a microprocessor that works together with a memory. The various programs for controlling the microprocessor as well as the two memories 26 and 27 and the contents of the counter 59 and the interval generator 60 are then contained in the memory.
The way in which the location and mobile code words are transmitted is largely free. As described, the transmission can take the form of two transmission words.
However, any other type of digital transmission is also conceivable.
If the transmit power of the transmitters 28 is low and / or if in areas with numerous metallic pipes, e.g. in chemical companies that have poor transmission properties, several decentralized receivers can be provided for the central control point, from which the information received is transmitted via lines to the evaluation circuit of the control point. In such cases, the central control point 30 has a priority circuit which only evaluates the signal of the receiver which currently provides the best reception.
The mobile unit 20 can be switched off at the end of a transmission sequence instead of via the counter 59, the logic 47 and the flip-flop 42 via a timer which switches on when the switch 41 is switched on and a stop signal to the logic 47 after a predetermined time or delivers on line 44.
