5. Electrical device according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that in the socket (3) a mating connector device (16) to a on the electrical or electronic device (4) located connector device (19) is attached.
The invention relates to an electrical device with an opening in a plate or a wall of the device and with a socket arranged in the opening and completely closing the opening for receiving an electrical or electronic device and for establishing an electrical connection between the electrical device and the electrical or electronic device.
Such an electrical or electronic device, which is to be held in a socket of an electrical device of the type specified at the outset, is, for example, an electrical or electronic component, an electrical or electronic assembly or a small electrical or electronic device in a closed, pluggable housing.
It is known to arrange and fasten sockets for plug-in relays or for tubes or for interchangeable assemblies in cutouts or openings in the housing wall of electrical devices. These sockets cover the entire area of the opening and are often in contact with a flange on the front or rear wall surface of the wall of the electrical device containing the opening. They also contain electrical male or female elements for the electrical mating connectors attached to the electrical or electronic device. These electrical plug or socket elements in particular reach through the opening in the wall or plate of the electrical device and are connected to the electrical circuit contained in the electrical device.
Especially for sockets for electron tubes or e.g. For so-called iron plugs, it is known to design the sockets in the shape of a cup or a trough. In this case, the cup wall or tub wall encompasses the plug-in base for better holding of the pluggable device.
In some cases, it is desirable or even necessary to additionally provide ventilation openings in the wall or plate in which such plug-in bases are attached.
The invention has for its object to provide a ventilation device in a wall or plate of an electrical device of the type mentioned, in addition to the openings for receiving the jacks, without additional ventilation openings in the wall or plate are required.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the features mentioned in the characterizing part of the first claim.
The advantage associated with the invention is, in particular, that part of the opening for the socket is also used as a ventilation opening and the socket on this part of the opening is, as it were, designed as a cover grille. This design of the plug-in socket avoids a reduction in the visual impression of the plate or housing wall by means of additional ventilation openings and considerably simplifies the production of the plate or housing wall.
Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the further claims.
The invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment. The drawing shows:
1 is a plan view of the housing wall of an electric charger with a jack for receiving a small electronic device to be charged,
Fig. 2 is a sectional view of an electrical device shown in Fig. 1 along the section line AB with a small electronic device partially inserted into the socket.
1 and 2, a section of a wall 1 of the housing of a charger is shown schematically. This section of the housing wall, which is shown in FIG. 1 in a top view of the housing wall and in FIG. 2 in a sectional view along the section line AB, contains an opening 2 in which a socket 3 for a small electronic device 4 is mounted. The socket contains a receptacle 5, which tightly encloses the housing of the small electronic device 4 when it is inserted into the receptacle of the socket. A flange 6 formed on the edge of the socket rests on the outer surface 7 of the wall 1 of the charger, to which the socket is fastened in a known manner, not shown in the drawing.
In addition to the wall 8 of the receptacle 5, i.e. outside the receiving area for the small electronic device 4, the socket 3 contains on one side several slot-shaped ventilation openings 9, which the air space of one side of the wall 1 of the charger with the air space on the other side of this wall connect and which are separated from the edge 10 of the opening in this wall by a web 11 integrally formed on the jack. This web 11 together with the walls 12, 13 and 14 of the receiving trough, which at least partially abut the edges of the opening 2, ensure that the ventilation openings 9 are always within the area of the opening 2, as shown in FIG. 1 on the broken one Corner of the jack can be seen.
In the bottom 15 of the receptacle 5 of the socket, a plug part 16 is fastened, the plug pins 17 of which are connected via lines 18 to the circuit of the charger, not shown in the drawing. When inserting the small electronic device 4, which is shown broken off in the drawing, into the receptacle of the socket, the plug pins penetrate into the associated socket openings of a socket part 19 of the small electronic device and connect the small device electrically to the circuit of the charger.
