Abstract

The device intended to be used in a watch which includes several registers (24 to 29), each containing a particular item of time information and at least one digital display system (31-33), comprises a rotary operating stem, which can move axially between a pushed-in position and a pulled-out position, means (8, 11, 9, 12, 100, 18) for producing a correction signal in response to a rotation of the stem when the latter is in the pulled-out position and means (34, 36, 13b, 30) for selecting a particular register from at least some of the registers of the watch and applying the correction signal to it. The selection of this particular register is done by moving the stem from its pushed-in position to its pulled-out position a specified number of times. The set of registers is preferably subdivided into at least two groups. A rotation of the stem in the pushed-in position makes it possible to select one or other of these groups, whilst successive pulls exerted on the rod make it possible to choose one register from the selected group. <IMAGE>
