RIVENDICAZIONI
1. Apparecchio atto a tenere assieme due o più bordi sovrapposti e ripiegati di fogli, sacchi o bustine e nel contempo assicurare una forte tenuta nel senso di trazione longitudinale, questo apparecchio essendo caratterizzato nel consistere di due pareti (3-5) parallele unite fra loro nella loro parte superiore e dal fatto che almeno ima di queste pareti (3) è provvista al suo interno di una sporgenza (6) a forma di becco volto verso l'alto, atta a ritenere la ripiegatura dei fogli introdotti, assicurandone la tenuta (fig. 1).1. Moltissime sono le applicazioni della tecnica riguardo i problemi di imballaggio. Per il commercio al dettaglio furono molto usati sacchetti di carta, progressivamente sostituiti da sacchetti di plastica, perché questi 'ultimi permettono un sistema di impugnatura migliore.There are many applications of the technique regarding packaging problems. Fra le ultime applicazioni ai sacchetti di carta figurano le impugnature forate a due riprese nella parte alta del sacco, così che ripiegando l'orlo superiore le due aperture combaciano e danno la possibilità di impugnarle. Per evitare che la carta si strappi le parti superiori del sacco devono però essere rinforzate con cartoncini e ciò richiede maggior lavorazione con conseguente aumento del costo. Con questo sistema si deve sacrificare circa il venti per cento della lunghezza del sacco ed inoltre c'è l'inconveniente che l'involucro tende sempre ad aprirsi appena liberato dalla presa della mano. Un altro sistema è l'applicazione di un nastro di carta gommata che chiude il sacchetto. A questo nastro è incorporata una cordicella che dà la possibilità di portare l'involucro. Anche questo sistema presenta diversi svantaggi. Bisogna anzitutto umidificare volta per volta il nastro gommato e capita sovente che un cliente perda il sacchetto per via che il nastro si è scollato perché troppo bagnato o viceversa. Inoltre una volta chiuso l'involucro non lo si può più riaprire senza rompere la carta. Anche dal lato estetico non è ottimale. Con l'applicazione della plastica si sono cercate diverse soluzioni ma non esiste finora un sistema che garantisca una chiusura a tutta prova e sia nel contempo vantaggiosa anche dal lato economico.Among the latest applications to paper bags are the handles perforated in two stages in the upper part of the bag, so that by folding the upper edge the two openings fit together and give the possibility of gripping them. Another system is the application of a gummed paper tape which closes the bag. A cord is incorporated into this ribbon which makes it possible to carry the wrapper. This system also has several disadvantages. First of all, it is necessary to humidify the gummed tape each time and it often happens that a customer loses the bag because the tape has come unstuck because it is too wet or vice versa. Furthermore, once the wrapper is closed, it cannot be reopened without breaking the paper. Even from an aesthetic point of view it is not optimal. Various solutions have been sought with the application of plastic, but up to now there is no system that guarantees a fully tested closure and is at the same time advantageous from an economic point of view.
L'uso della plastica per gli imballaggi dovrebbe poter essere ridotto nei limiti del possibile anche per motivi ecologici. Proprio in questo senso l'apparecchio proposto e conforme alla rivendicazione 1, potrebbe avere effetti posi-5 tivi, inducendo industriali e commercianti a ritornare agli imballaggi di carta per motivi di praticità o economia.The use of plastic for packaging should be able to be reduced as much as possible also for ecological reasons. Precisely in this sense the proposed apparatus, in accordance with claim 1, could have positive effects, inducing industrialists and traders to return to paper packaging for reasons of practicality or economy.
