Abstract

In the preparation of an animal feed, the cellulose-containing residues which remain after fermentable sugars have been removed from hydrolysed, pentosan-containing raw materials are improved with regard to their nutritional value by an addition of molasses.

   PATENTANSPRÜCHE
1. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Futtermittels unter Verwendung der cellulosehaltigen Hydrolyserückstände von durch Hydrolyse aufgeschlossenen pentosanhaltigen Rohstoffen, die nach der Verhefung der vergärbaren Zucker verbleiben, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass den rohfaserhaltigen entzuckerten Hydrolyserückständen Melasse zugemischt wird.



   2. Verfahren nach Patentanspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als cellulosehaltige Hydrolyserückstände solche von Bagasse verwendet werden.



   3. Verfahren nach den Patentansprüchen 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der erhaltenen Mischung Bagasse und Hefe zugemischt werden.



   Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Futtermittels, nämlich einer Futtermittelmischung aus den Rückständen von durch Hydrolyse aufgeschlossenen pentosanhaitigen Rohstoffen, nach Abtrennung der vergärbaren Zucker.



   Aus der DE-OS 2 809 531 ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Futtermittels unter Verwendung der cellulosehaltigen Hydrolyserückstände, die nach der Verhefung der vergärbaren Zucker verbleiben, bekannt. Die rohfaserhaltigen entzuckerten Hydrolyserückstände werden vor der Verwendung als Futtermittel als Filterhilfsmittel zur Filtration der   Hefemilch    verwendet.



   Da jedoch nur ein verhältnismässig geringer Anteil der in grossen Mengen bei der Hydrolyse, beispielsweise von Bagasse, anfallenden Rückstände zur Verwendung als Filterhilfsmittel in der Anschwemmfiltration von Hefe benötigt wird, verbleibt ein erheblicher Anteil ungenutzt und wird bestenfalls nach der Trocknung als Brennstoff verwendet.

 

   Aufgabe der Erfindung ist die Herstellung eines Futtermittels aus den Rückständen der Hydrolyse von pentosanhaltigen Rohstoffen.



   Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäss durch ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Futtermittels gelöst, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass den rohfaserhaltigen entzuckerten Hydrolyserückständen Melasse zugemischt wird.



   Durch Zumischung von Melasse in jedem beliebigen Verhältnis kann der Kohlehydratgehalt des gewünschten Futtermittels eingestellt werden. Eine Anreicherung mit Proteinen kann durch direkte Zugabe von Hefen erfolgen.

1.    The invention relates to a method for producing a feed, namely a feed mixture from the residues of pentosan-containing raw materials digested by hydrolysis, after the fermentable sugars have been separated off.



   DE-OS 2 809 531 discloses a process for the production of a feed using the cellulose-containing hydrolysis residues which remain after fermentation of the fermentable sugars. The desugared hydrolysis residues containing crude fibers are used as filter aids for filtering the yeast milk before being used as animal feed.



   However, since only a relatively small proportion of the residues accumulated in large quantities in the hydrolysis, for example of bagasse, are required for use as filter aids in the precoat filtration of yeast, a considerable proportion remains unused and is used as fuel at best after drying.

 

   The object of the invention is the production of a feed from the residues of the hydrolysis of raw materials containing pentosan.



   According to the invention, this object is achieved by a method for producing a feed, which is characterized in that molasses is added to the crude fiber-containing, desugared hydrolysis residues.



   The carbohydrate content of the desired feed can be adjusted by adding molasses in any ratio. Enrichment with proteins can be done by adding yeast directly.
