Haltevorrichtung am Rückenteil eines Reihen-Fahrgastsitzes zum Festhalten für den auf dem nachfolgenden Sitz sitzenden Fahrgast bei Einwirkungen von Beschleunigungskräften und zum Abstützen beim Aufstehen sowie zum Unterbringen von Zubehör für den Reisenden, gekennzeichnet durch ein etwa 10 cm breites, die gesamte Breite des Rückenteiles (1) überspannendes, schwach nachgiebiges, vollkommen mit schwach elastischem Kunststoffschaum umspritztes Griffband (2), das an beiden Enden zum Rük-kenteil (1) hin abgehoben und dort befestigt ist.1. Auch diese verhältnismässig kleinen Beschläge haben jedoch bei Unfällen schon zu Verletzungen geführt, weswegen auch sie vermieden werden sollten. Ferner können im Griffband, in dort vorteilhaft vorgesehenen Vertiefungen, elektrische Tastschalter eingebaut werden. Ebenfalls kann nun auch im Griffband, unterhalb des Ablagebleches, das Griffband durchdringend und in geschlossenem Zustand mit ihm abschliessend, ein herausziehbarer Aschenbecher angebracht sein.The function of a grab handle is already adequately guaranteed by the fact that the upper edge of the construction can be gripped. Etwa auf halber Höhe des Griffbandes 2 ist ein Ablageblech 5 (gestrichelt eingezeichnet) eingelegt, dass den Raum zwischen dem Griffband 2 und dem Rückenteil 1 überspannt. Im Griffband 2 sind in Vertiefungen 6, 7 elektrische Tastschalter 8, 9 untergebracht, beispielsweise zum Signalisieren eines Wunsches an den Fahrer beziehungsweise den Steward oder auch zum Einschalten von Leuchten 10, 11, die unterhalb des Ablagebleches 5 am Griffband 2 befestigt sind. Mit dem Griffband bündig abschliessend ist ein Aschenbecher 12 vorgesehen, der bei Bedarf herausgezogen werden kann.
