PATENT CLAIMS
1. expansion dowel made of plastic, which is cylindrical and slotted over most of its length, the longitudinal slot (5) being bridged at one point by a web part, characterized in that the longitudinal slot is covered over part of its length by at least one thin connecting wall ( 1) is bridged and the thin connecting wall is perforated over part or over its entire length.
2. Expansible plug according to claim 1, characterized by two thin connecting walls running parallel to one another and on both sides of a screw guide channel, the perforations (lb) of a connecting wall being arranged offset to the perforations of the other connecting wall in the longitudinal direction of the dowel (FIG. 4).
3. Expansible plug according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that on both sides of a screw guide channel (3) thin connecting walls (1) are arranged adjacent to this channel (3) or on the plug jacket.
The invention relates to an expansion anchor made of plastic, which is cylindrical and slotted over most of its length, the longitudinal slot being bridged at one point by a web part.
According to an embodiment of a dowel according to patent no. 608 866, the longitudinal slot is bridged over part of its length by a thin connecting wall.
The object of the invention is to design the bridging of the longitudinal slot in such a way that it holds the dowel legs together both when they are inserted into the borehole and when the fastener is inserted and does not represent an obstacle during assembly. This is achieved according to the invention in that the longitudinal slot is bridged over part of its length by at least one thin connecting wall and the thin connecting wall is perforated over part or over its entire length. The wall pieces between the perforations thus form predetermined breaking points. These predetermined breaking points can have the same or different shapes. The thin connecting walls can be attached inside the dowel or in the slot plane on the dowel jacket.
The task of the thin connecting walls, also called fish skins in plastic injection molding technology, is to hold two or more dowel legs of the dowel together approximately parallel when inserting or driving in the dowel, so that the dowel legs are forcibly held in one plane and that when the fastener is inserted , e.g. B. the screw, the fish skin prevents the dowel legs from being twisted, and that the screw is forcibly guided over the entire screw-in depth.
All criteria are particularly important in soft, homogeneous building materials, with inhomogeneous boreholes, e.g. B. in perforated and chamber rock and in push-through assemblies, if it must be prevented that the dowel legs dodge or even kink at an uncontrollable point in the borehole, even in boreholes with undersize or oversize. During the inspection of dowel fastening points, it was found that the fastening means often had no contact with the dowel legs, so that the load-bearing capacity of the dowel connection was determined solely by the fastening means (screw). The perforated connecting wall prevents the dowel legs of the screw from escaping and vice versa, so that a perfect dowel connection is created from the screw and dowel.
The perforated connecting wall not only takes on the task of screw and dowel leg guidance, but also reinforces the stability (rigidity) of the slotted expansion anchor, especially in cases where the anchor is made of a particularly elastic material, e.g. B. rubber is produced. Connecting links for holding the dowel legs together at the beginning of the dowel and / or outside the dowel legs are already known.
Such connecting links do not prevent the dowel legs from deforming in any direction, since the support points are only attached at the beginning of the dowel and partially outside the dowel legs, so that only securing during push-through installations can be achieved. Such connecting links cannot have a stabilizing effect in the parallel guidance of the dowel legs and in the screw guidance.
Because of their arrangement, namely outside the dowel legs, they are also not protected against destruction and can easily be blown up prematurely and undesirably, e.g. B. when inserted into the borehole or even before assembly on site. The invention eliminates such disadvantages and fulfills not only one but several tasks.
The connecting walls can preferably be arranged in the interior of the dowel legs, so that they are protected against external destructive influences.
When inserting the fastener, e.g. B. the screw, the predetermined breaking points formed by the connecting walls are blown up depending on the progress of the screw, so that the dowel legs open like a zipper. The opening of the dowel legs is not self-releasing in one step, but step by step depending on the penetration of the screw. The thin connecting wall is interrupted by the perforations to prevent the fastener from having to apply additional torque during insertion and the step-by-step blasting of the connecting webs, and at the same time prevents the connecting wall from being opened in one step in a self-releasing manner. The individual webs thus connected between the perforation openings can be arranged differently and shaped differently.
They can be arranged opposite each other transversely to the dowel axis and have an approximately rectangular cross-sectional shape. The webs of two connecting walls running parallel to one another can preferably be arranged at an angle to one another in the direction of the dowel axis. In this embodiment, the fastener slides, e.g. B. the screw, effortlessly along the slope of the webs formed by the offset and is optimally guided up to the beginning of the dowel in the desired direction in the slot plane. The individual webs can have any cross-sectional shape of rectangles, squares, circles, semicircles, etc. The individual webs do not have to be geometrically shaped in the same way over the entire slot plane, but can change their geometry and / or their size and thickness.
The perforated connecting wall of the dowel is not dependent on the design of the slot level of the dowel, so that dowels with a continuous, serrated, M-shaped or other type of slot can carry a thin connecting wall according to the invention.
