Abstract

The digital timepiece having an alarm transmitter comprises two side plates (9, 10) between which there extends a rotatable spindle (24) on which there are located a one-minute drum (16), a ten-minute drum (19) and an hour drum (21). Also located on the said spindle (24) is a time index wheel (40) which can be displaced axially to a prescribed time interval, the ten-minute drum (19) being seated rotatably over a hollow shaft on the said spindle (24), which hollow shaft extends with its one end (25) on the side of the hour drum to the relevant side plate and transmits its torque force onto the time index wheel (40). Due to the fact that the spindle which supports the ten-minute drum extends in such a way that the time index wheel is actuated every 10 minutes, a switch for the alarm transmitter can function precisely with the prescribed time interval. <IMAGE>
