Abstract

The back of the vest comprises a zone (14) which has a greater thermoinsulating effect than the adjacent zones. The zone (14) extends vertically, basically over all the cervical and thoracic vertebrae of the wearer and, widthways, covers the top ends (12) of the wearer's left and right humeri. Preferably, the width of the zone (14) gradually decreases from the shoulders (24) down. <IMAGE>
