1. Three-phase transformer for feeding semiconductor bridge rectifiers, which transformer contains a three-legged core housed in a housing with at least two three-phase windings arranged concentrically on this and each winding (3, 4) per phase consists of an even number of parts (5 , 6,7,8 42,43,44,45), wpbei one winding (3) which is intended to be connected to the supply source, its parts (5,6,7,8) are connected in parallel in each phase , while the other winding (4), which is intended to be connected to the rectifier, the phases (A, B, C) of one half of its parts (43 and 45) in triangle and the phases (A, B, C) of the the other half of their parts (42, 44) are star-connected,
characterized in that the delta and star connections of the phases (A, B, C) of the parts (42,43,44,45) of the winding (4) intended to be connected to the rectifiers (49,60,70,71) alternate with one another consequences.
2. Three-phase transformer according to claim 1, characterized in that each winding consists of at least four parts per phase.
The invention relates to a three-phase transformer for feeding semiconductor bridge rectifiers, which transformer contains a three-legged core housed in a housing with at least two concentrically arranged three-phase windings and each winding per phase consists of an even number of parts arranged along the core leg axis, one of which consists of Winding, which is intended to be connected to the supply source, its parts are connected in parallel in each phase, while in the other winding, which is intended to be connected to the rectifier, the phases of one half of its parts in triangle and the phases of the other half of its parts in Are star connected.
The invention can be used, for example, in transformers for feeding semiconductor bridge rectifiers which convert alternating current into direct current.
A three-phase transformer for feeding four semiconductor bridge rectifiers (see, for example, the magazine Smit-Mededelingen, Netherlands, 23/1968, No. 4, pp. 143-156, Fig. 2) is known. This transformer contains a three-legged core accommodated in the housing with two three-phase windings arranged concentrically on it.
Each winding consists of four parts that are arranged along the axis of the core leg. A winding is connected to the supply source. All parts of this winding are connected in parallel. Every part of the other winding is connected to a rectifier. Here, the parts of this winding are arranged along the core leg axis from above in terms of phase switching as follows: star, triangle, triangle, star.
This design of the windings ensures that the current is limited in emergency operation of the transformer. However, the specified arrangement of the parts of the winding connected to the rectifier with different switching of their phases leads to an increase in the inductive commutation resistance. Inductive commutation resistance is to be understood as the transformer resistance when the parts of the winding connected to the rectifier are short-circuited and have the same switching of their phases. The increase in the inductive commutation resistance leads to an increase in the cost of active materials (copper and steel) in the transformer and to a reduction in the power factor of the aggregate existing outside the transformer and rectifier.
The invention is based on the object of creating a three-phase transformer for feeding semiconductor bridge rectifiers, in which the reduction in the inductive commutation resistance ensures an increase in the power factor of the transformer and a reduction in the amount of active materials in the transformer.
This object is achieved according to the invention in the three-phase transformer of the type mentioned at the beginning according to the features specified in claim 1.
The transformer according to the invention for feeding semiconductor bridge rectifiers makes it possible to increase the power factor of the transformer and to reduce the cost of active materials for this by reducing the inductive commutation resistance. The value of this resistance depends on the mutual arrangement of the simultaneously commutating parts of the winding mentioned. In this transformer, the stray magnetic field caused by the above arrangement of the winding parts and the phase connection of these parts ensures an inductive commutation resistance that is smaller than the commutation resistance that can be determined in the transformer of the known construction.
Details and advantages of the present invention will emerge from consideration of the exemplary embodiments described below and the accompanying drawings.
Show it:
Fig. 1 partially in section the present three-phase transformer, and
2 shows the circuit diagram of this three-phase transformer to which semiconductor bridge rectifiers are assigned.
The three-phase transformer for feeding semiconductor bridge rectifiers contains a housing 1 (FIG. 1) with a three-legged core 2 accommodated therein. Two three-phase windings 3 and 4 are concentrically arranged on the core 2.
The first three-phase winding 3 is divided into four parts 5, 6, 7, 8 which are arranged along the axis L of the core limbs 9. The beginnings 10 (FIG. 2) 12, 13 of phase A of parts 5,6,7,8 are connected by means of a current-conducting rail 14 which is connected to phase A of a supply source 15. The beginnings 16, 17, 18, 19 of phase B of parts 5,6,7,8 are combined by means of a current-conducting rail 20 which is connected to phase B of the supply source 15. The beginnings 21,22,23,24 of phase C of the parts 5,6,7,8 are united by means of a conductive rail 25 which is connected to phase B of the feed source 15.
The ends 26,27,28,29 of phase A, 30,31,32,33 of the
Phase B, 34,35,36,37 of phase C or parts 5,6,7,8 are each combined by means of a conductive rail 38,39,40. The
Rails 38, 39, 40 are connected by means of a neutral conductor 41.
The second three-phase winding 4 (Fig. 1) is in four
Parts 42,43,44,45, which are arranged along the axis L of the leg 9, divided. The phases A, B, C of the part 42 are connected in star. In addition, the beginnings are 46,47,48 der
Phases A, B, C of the part 42 are connected to the semiconductor bridge rectifier 49 by means of current-conducting rails 50, 51, 52, while the ends 53, 54, 55 are combined by means of a current-conducting rail 56.
The phases A, B, C of the part 43 are connected in triangle.
For this purpose, the beginnings 57,58,59 of phases A, B, C of Tei les 43 are connected to the rectifier 60 by means of conductive rails 61,62,63. Here the beginning 57 is the
Phase A is connected to the end 64 of phase B by means of a current-conducting rail 65. The beginning 58 of phase B is connected to the end 66 of phase C by means of a current-conducting
Rail 67 connected. The beginning 59 is connected to the end 68 of phase A by means of a current-conducting rail 69.
The phases A, B, C of the part 44 are connected in star and connected to the rectifier 70 in a manner similar to the phases A, B, C of the part 42. Phases A, B, C of part 45 are connected in delta and are connected to rectifier 71 in a manner similar to phases A, B, C of part 43.
The function of the three-phase transformer for feeding the semiconductor rectifiers 49, 60, 70 and 71 takes place in a known manner.
Each part 42, 43, 44 and 45 of the winding 4 (FIG. 1) feeds one of the rectifiers 49 (FIG. 2), 60, 70 and 71. The valves of the rectifiers 49 and 70, which are operated by the parts 42 and 44 are fed whose phases are connected in star, and the valves of the rectifiers 60 and 71, which are fed by the parts 43 and 45, whose phases are connected in delta, do not commutate simultaneously, but with a shift of 30 electrical degrees. As a result, the voltage drop of the transformer in the working state is the voltage drop across the inductive commutation resistor, which is equal to the resistance of the transformer in the event of a short circuit of parts of the valve winding that have identical circuits.
The value of this resistance depends on the mutual arrangement of the simultaneously commutating parts 42, 44 and 43, 45. In the construction according to the invention, the stray magnetic field, which is caused by the stated arrangement of parts 42, 43, 44 and 45, ensures a lower inductive commutation resistance than in the case of the known construction of the transformer. This makes it possible to reduce the cost of active materials (copper and steel) in the transformer according to the invention and to increase the power factor of the transformer and the rectifiers 49, 60, 70 and 71 compared to the known transformer.
