Fig. 2 zeigt die Verhältnisse nochmals im Querschnitt.

PATENT CLAIMS
1 guide device for a subrack to accommodate plug-in electronic subassemblies, with a guide plate on which there are adjacent guide grooves into which the subassemblies can be inserted, with webs that separate the guide grooves and with means to prevent incorrect insertion of the subassemblies into the guide grooves or in the subrack, characterized by at least one transverse groove (15) which interrupts the webs (13) transversely to their longitudinal direction, by a locking web (17) representing the means and which is immovably fastened in the transverse groove (15) and through at least one interruption (18) of the locking web (17), which interruption (18) coincides with a guide groove (12) and which corresponds at least approximately to the width of the guide groove.
2. Guide device according to claim 1, characterized in that the locking web (17) has a cylindrical shape
3. Guide device according to claim 1, characterized in that the locking web (17) is pressed into the transverse groove (15)
The invention relates to a guide device for a subrack for receiving plug-in electronic subassemblies, with a guide plate on which there are adjacent guide grooves into which the subassemblies can be inserted, with webs that separate the guide grooves from one another and with means for preventing incorrect insertion of the subassemblies in the guide grooves or in the subrack.
In electronic devices that comprise several electronic assemblies or printed circuit boards, guide devices of the type mentioned form the base and cover plate within a mostly frame-shaped assembly carrier for mechanically holding the preferably upright assemblies. The circuit boards are held in the guide grooves by the webs.
The electronic assemblies of a device generally have the same external dimensions. So that different assemblies can only be inserted into the positions for which they are intended, it is known to prevent incorrect insertion by means of suitable devices.
Such devices are, for example, pins that block individual guide grooves and thus prevent the insertion of a circuit board. In other devices, this groove is released by breaking a part out of the guide groove, while other grooves in which the corresponding parts have not broken out remain blocked.
Electronic assemblies are also known in which additional coding elements only allow the assemblies to be inserted if the coding elements on the assembly and the corresponding counterparts have the same coding.
The devices mentioned with means for preventing the incorrect insertion of the assemblies in guide grooves are relatively complex, since either the insertion of a single pin is required for each guide groove or a part has to be broken out, which results in irreparable damage in the event of incorrect manipulation. The present invention has therefore set itself the task of specifying a simpler solution in terms of complexity.
According to this solution, the guide device is characterized by at least one transverse groove which interrupts the webs transversely to their longitudinal direction, a locking web representing the means mentioned, which is fixed immovably in the transverse groove, and at least one interruption of the locking web, which interruption coincides with a guide groove and which corresponds at least approximately to the width of the guide groove.
In the following the invention is tert erläu, for example. Show it:
Fig. 1 perspective view of the guide device with guide plate with inserted locking web,
Fig. 2 sectional drawing through the guide plate with inserted locking web.
Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a guide device D with a guide plate 10, which is preferably made of plastic and can be mounted in a frame-shaped subrack, not shown. For example, a hook-shaped plate end 11 is used for assembly, with the aid of which the guide plate 10 is hooked onto a strip of the subrack can be. If the electrical assemblies or printed circuit boards (not shown) are to be able to be inserted in a vertical position, a guide plate 10 each at the bottom and at the top of the rack is used to guide these assemblies.
The guide plate 10 has, on its side opposite the hook-shaped plate end 11, guide grooves 12 which are delimited from one another by parallel guide webs 13 lying next to one another. The width of the guide grooves 12 is chosen so that the assemblies (not shown) can be easily inserted and are then held without significant lateral play.
A transverse groove 15 is located transversely to the guide grooves 12 and traverses the guide webs 13 in a straight line. If it appears necessary that the incorrect insertion of modules into freely selectable grooves should be prevented, for example in order not to choose a wrong groove or to insert a module at an angle, then a locking web 17 can be introduced into the transverse groove 15 from above. Such a barrier web 17 is preferably made of a round plastic material.
The locking web 17 is fastened in the transverse groove 15 either by lightly pressing in, by gluing or welding. By preferably mechanical processing, the locking web 17 can be removed again from those guide grooves 12 into which assemblies should be able to be inserted without hindrance. 18 shows a guide groove 12 from which the locking web 17 has been removed. The other guide grooves 12 remain blocked by the blocking web 17, which is now interrupted
Fig. 2 shows the relationships again in cross section. The barrier web 17 then consists of a round material that is pressed into the transverse groove 15 and is slightly deformed in the process. However, it is irrelevant for the invention whether the barrier web 17 is made of square material, trapezoidal material, round material or the like necessary that plastic is used as the material.
The locking web 17 can be removed from the guide grooves 12 provided that an automatically controlled tool saws through the locking web 17 in the width of a guide groove 12, mills it or breaks it out by applying pressure in the direction of the guide groove. Thermal methods can be mentioned as a further possibility for removal.
It is important for the invention that after the removal of the barrier web material at the desired locations, the remaining parts of the barrier web 17 are held immovably in the transverse groove 15, that is, in the cutouts of the guide webs 13. This is ensured in the simplest way by pressing in, gluing in or welding.
In FIG. 1, a single transverse groove 15 runs perpendicular to the guide webs 13. In an extension of the principle shown, however, several parallel transverse grooves 15 can also be provided
may be provided on the side of the assembly connector. In this way, especially taking into account the possibility that each assembly is guided by two guide plates, a large number of variants can be formed where the insertion of different types of assemblies is stopped. This means that a simple type of coding is possible
The advantage of the device according to the invention lies in the simple handling in which only a single locking web 17 has to be inserted for all guide grooves 12 of a guide plate 10. The release of the desired guide grooves by removing the barrier web material can then be automated very easily. The Sperrstegma material is cheap and can be obtained as a so-called semi-finished product.
