Abstract
The quartz oscillator comprises a quartz leaf-block (5) and a support substrate (12) which are connected by conducting wires (8a, 8b) parallel to the plane of the leaf-block and welded at various points (10a, 18) of the block and of the support. In order to mount the oscillator, use is made of a temporary mounting support frame (20) on which the leaf-block (5) and the support substrate (12) are appropriately positioned with respect to one another so as to allow the welding of the support conducting wires (8a, 8b) at the requisite spots. The particular E-shape of the temporary mounting support (20) enables it to be withdrawn later without difficulty, by sideways sliding, from the assembly of the quartz leaf (5) and of the support substrate (12) firmly connected by the conducting wires (8a, 8b). <IMAGE>
