Abstract

Compounds of the formula <IMAGE> in which R1 denotes an acyl group, R2 denotes an acylaminoalkyl-substituted heterocyclic group containing N or N and S and M denotes a hydrogen atom or a non-toxic, pharmaceutically tolerable cation, are prepared by acylation of corresponding 7-acylamino compounds, whose heterocyclic group has an aminoalkyl substituent on the 3-thiomethyl group. The compounds are novel; they display a potent antibacterial action and can be used in infectious diseases.
