Abstract

The anchorage element comprises a reinforcing iron bar. A first part (A) of the anchorage bar (1), which engages in the deepest part of the hole (9), is enclosed in a material (10) which is capable of seating the bar (2) relative to this hole (9) and of protecting its surface against oxidation. The second part (B) of the bar, adjacent to the first (A) and enclosed in a yielding tube (11) which has been mounted hot and is capable of adhering to the bar (2) by means of interposed bitumen, permits the second part of the anchorage bar to extend when a traction force is exerted on it, on the part of the bar protruding (5) from the anchorage mass. By means of these expedients, the anchorage element is capable of elastic yielding. <IMAGE>
