Abstract

The windscreen wiper, especially for motor vehicles, makes it possible to obtain greater effectiveness by a better distribution of the bearing pressure transmitted to the wiper blade element (1) by two bridges (2, 3) articulated to the latter. Each bridge has a long branch (4, 10) and a short branch (6, 8) between them forming an obtuse angle, and is mounted so as to pivot on a support (15) articulated to a drive arm (18).
