Abstract

A rotary printing machine having a continuous belt (1) which has the printing formes and is guided over deflection rollers (3) or wheels and the back pressure cylinder (2). For the precise adjustment of the belt circumference, the belt is fitted with a multiplicity of flexible plates (5) whose mutually adjacent ends are each attached to a strip located on the inside of the belt. Accordingly the deflection rollers or wheels and the back pressure cylinder have grooves or recesses which are distributed over the circumference and with which the strips mesh. <IMAGE>
