UNTERANSPRUCH

SUBClaim
Air conditioner according to claim above and dependent claim 5 of the main patent, characterized in that the contact strips (101, 102) are arranged in the area of the bottom of the lower housing parts (U) of the base unit (1) and the add-on units (2-5) and that the plug-in element ( 109) is attached to the underside of the connecting element (22).
The subject of the invention of the main patent is an air conditioner for individual rooms with a base unit, which has a fan, which is accommodated in a housing provided with an air inlet and an air outlet, and with one or more add-on units, each of which is in a housing with an air inlet and an air outlet for processing the air conveyed by the fan and which can optionally be attached to the base unit or to one of the add-on units, with the housing of the add-on units connected with their air inlets to the air outlets of the housing of the base unit or an add-on unit and the housings of the base unit and the add-on units are connected to one another by separable electrical and mechanical connections.
The subject of the present invention is a further development of the air conditioner according to claim of the main patent, which is characterized in that contact strips are attached to the housings of the base unit and the add-on units which have projections separated by recesses, in each of which a contact element is arranged Projections of one contact strip are offset with respect to the projections of the other contact strip, so that when the housings abut, the projections of one contact strip engage in the recesses of the other contact strip, and that for separable electrical connection between the contact strips, there is a plug-in element with contact elements arranged next to one another at a distance is
wherein the contact organs are electrically connected to one another in pairs and, when the plug-in element is placed on the interlocking contact strips, are in detachable electrical connection with the contact elements of the contact strips, so that in each case a contact element of one contact strip is electrically connected to a contact element of the other contact strip via a pair of interconnected contact elements of the plug-in element connected is.
In the following, an exemplary embodiment of the subject of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing, reference being made to the description and the drawing of the main patent.
It shows:
Fig. 1 in plan view of contact strips for the electrical connection between the structural units, and
FIG. 2 shows, in view and partially in section, a connector strip for releasably connecting the contact strips according to FIG. 1.
1 and 2, a further embodiment of a separable electrical connection between the structural units 1-5 shown and described in the main patent is shown.
The contact strips 101 and 102 shown in FIG. 1 are fastened to the opposite end faces in the area of the bottom of the lower housing parts 6U-10U of the structural units 1-5 to be connected. Each contact strip 101, 102 has a row of projections 103 and 104, in each of which a contact socket 105 or 106 is arranged. Recesses 107, 108 are present between adjacent projections 103, 104. The projections 103 of the one contact strip 101 are offset from the projections 104 of the other contact strip 102 that when the two contact strips 101, 102 are joined together, the projections 103 and 104 of one contact strip 101, 102 into the recesses 108 and 107 of the other contact strip 102, 101 intervene, as shown by the dash-dotted representation of the contact strip 102.
When the two contact strips 101, 102 intermesh in a comb-like manner in this way, the contact sockets 105, 106 lie next to one another in a row.
To establish the electrical connection, the connector strip 109 shown in FIG. 2 is now placed on the interlocking contact strips 101, 102. This connector strip 109 has projections 110 arranged in a row and at a mutual distance. A U-shaped bracket 111, which protrudes from the projections 110 with its ends 111a, 111b, runs in two adjacent projections 110. When plugging the connector strips 109 onto the contact strips 101, 102, the projections 110 with the protruding bracket ends 111a, 111b now engage in the contact sockets 105, 106 of the contact strips 101, 102, so that in each case between a contact socket 105 of the contact strip 101 and the adjacent contact socket 106 of the other contact strip 102 via the bracket 111 an electrical connection is made, as shown in FIG.
B. is shown schematically based on the sockets 105a, 106a. The electrical line 112 connected to the socket 105a is connected via the bracket 111 to the line 113 which is connected to the socket 106a. This electrical connection is separated again by removing the connector strip 109.
The connector strip 109 is conveniently attached to the lower horizontal leg of the frame-shaped connecting element 22 (Fig. 3-7 of the main patent). If two structural units 1-5 are now joined together, the two contact strips 101, 102 come into engagement with one another as shown in FIG. 1 when two lower housing parts 6U-10U are joined. As already described with reference to FIGS. 3-8 of the main patent, the connecting element 22 is now used. As soon as this is fully inserted, the projections 110 of the connector strip 109 attached to the connecting element 22 engage in the contact sockets 105, 106
of the contact strips 101, 102, so that the electrical connection described above is established.
Thus, by inserting or removing the connecting element 22, a mechanical and electrical connection or separation of the structural units takes place at the same time. Accordingly, only a single handle is required for electrical and mechanical connection and disconnection of the structural units. The contact sockets 105, 106 and the protruding contact-making ends ills, 111b can be formed in any suitable manner.
