Abstract
The system is used to provide an electrical signal proportional to the speed of the vehicle in which it is fitted. It comprises a continuously illuminated lamp, having a focused beam shining onto a hole drilled diametrically through a spindle. This is connected to the mileometer in the vehicle and is rotated by the same mechanism. It is placed in a plane vertical to the lamp, the beam being cut as the spindle rotates. The light activates a photoelectric cell positioned in front of the hole, the signals, digital or analogue, being converted by a high gain amplifier.
Description
La présente invention a pour objet un capteur fournissant un signal de fréquence proportionnelle à la vitesse d'un véhicule. On connaît déjà ce mode de construction. Les capteurs réalisés sont dans la plupart des cas basés sur un système électromécanique ou électromagnétique.
Les capteurs électromécaniques sont de par leur construction encombrants et lourds, tandis que les capteurs électromagnétiques sont d'un état critique dû aux courants électriques importants circulant dans les véhicules.
L'invention a pour but d'augmenter la fiabilité et de diminuer les dimensions du systéme.
Dans le capteur selon l'invention, une cellule photo-électrique fournissant un signal à un amplificateur, la cellule photo-électrique étant excitée par une lampe disposée en face de celle-ci, le faisceau de lumière étant coupé au moyen d'un axe troué, placé dans un plan perpendiculaire au faisceau émis par la lampe. L'axe étant entraîné par le câble du compteur kilométrique du véhicule.
De préférence le capteur fournira un signal de sortie digital ou analogique.
De préférence l'axe du capteur comportera au moins un trou.
De préférence le capteur sera incorporé ou extérieur aux compteurs kilométriques des véhicules.
La fig. 1 représente le schéma électronique du capteur.
Le capteur comprend une lampe 1, une cellule photo-électrique 2, et un amplificateur à grand gain 3.
REVENDICATION
Capteur fournissant un signal de fréquence proportionnelle à la vitesse d'un véhicule, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend une cellule photo-électrique fournissant un signal à un amplificateur, la cellule photo-électrique étant excitée par une lampe disposée en face de celle-ci, le faisceau de lumiére étant coupé au moyen d'un axe troué, placé dans un plan perpendiculaire au faisceau émis par la lampe, I'axe étant entraîné par le câble du compteur kilométrique du véhicule.
SOUS-REVENDICATIONS
1. Capteur selon la revendication, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte un convertisseur pour fournir un signal de sortie digital.
2. Capteur selon la revendication ou la sous-revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que l'axe comporte plusieurs trous.

Electromechanical sensors are bulky and heavy by their construction, while electromagnetic sensors are in critical condition due to the large electric currents flowing in vehicles.
The object of the invention is to increase reliability and to reduce the dimensions of the system.
In the sensor according to the invention, a photoelectric cell supplying a signal to an amplifier, the photoelectric cell being excited by a lamp arranged in front of it, the light beam being cut by means of an axis perforated, placed in a plane perpendicular to the beam emitted by the lamp. The axle being driven by the vehicle's odometer cable.
Preferably the sensor will provide a digital or analog output signal.
Preferably the axis of the sensor will include at least one hole.
Preferably the sensor will be incorporated or external to the vehicle odometers.
Fig. 1 represents the electronic diagram of the sensor.
The sensor includes a lamp 1, a photocell 2, and a high gain amplifier 3.
CLAIM
Sensor supplying a signal of frequency proportional to the speed of a vehicle, characterized in that it comprises a photoelectric cell supplying a signal to an amplifier, the photoelectric cell being excited by a lamp placed in front of that here, the beam of light being cut by means of a perforated axis, placed in a plane perpendicular to the beam emitted by the lamp, the axis being driven by the cable of the vehicle's odometer.

1. Sensor according to claim, characterized in that it comprises a converter to provide a digital output signal.
