Abstract

The plastic mounting chassis holds electronic circuit cards carrying counters for measurement or communication equipment. The chassis consists of a thin stamped shaped plate (1) in which are a number of lateral stamped slots or grooves (3). These carry the circuit cards (2). A number of protrusions (7) protect the chassis top. Slots (8) in the edges of the element allow it to be inserted in a suitable mother chassis in the appropriate measurement or communication equipment. Three cards (2) are typically carried in each element (1). There may also be an opening to admit a reading head and the grooves may narrow upwards.
