Abstract

The tooth brush comprises two main parts, the head with the bristles (1) and a handle (2), which are joined by a hinge (3). When it is in the open position the tooth brush is made rigid by two lateral extensions on the head (4) which fit into two corresponding hollows (5) in the handle. The handle has two hollows one of which holds the tube of toothpaste (7) and the other protects the bristles (8), when the brush is closed. The brush is made in moulded plastics and the bristles can be natural or synthetic. A recess in the head (1) behind the bristles increases the storage capacity available for the tube of toothpaste.

   La présente invention a pour objet une brosse à dents pliante constituée par deux éléments joints par une articulation et pouvant se rabattre   l'un    contre l'autre pour former une boite étanche à la   poussiére,    caractérisée en ce que   l'un    des éléments constitue une tête avec sa brosse et que l'autre élément, constituant le manche, contient une réserve de matière dentifrice dans un logement prévu à cet effet et une cavité de protection de la brosse.



   L'invention a pour but d'offrir à l'utilisateur un dispositif contenant tout le nécessaire utile au brossage des dents, de dimensions réduites et efficacement hygiénique.



   Le dessin annexé représente une forme d'exécution de la brosse à dents:
 La fig. 1 représente la brosse à dents pliante en coupe dans sa position ouverte d'utilisation.



   La fig. 2 représente la brosse à dents pliante en coupe dans sa position fermée de transport ou d'inutilisation.



   L'élément brosse (1) et l'élément manche (2) sont joints par une articulation (3).



   En position ouverte, la rigidité de l'ensemble est assurée par deux bossages (4) disposés latéralement dans l'élément brosse et venant s'introduire par flexion dans deux cavités (5) prévues à cet effet dans l'élément manche.



   En position fermée, I'ergot (6) travaillant à la flexion vient assurer la fermeture de l'ensemble en se crochant à la pointe de l'élément brosse.



   Le logement (7) reçoit la réserve de   matiére    dentifrice: un tube de pâte dentifrice dans le cas présenté par les fig. I et 2 du dessin.



   La cavité (8) sert de protection aux poils de la brosse.



   Hygiène et compacité sont les avantages de ce dispositif.



   Les éléments constituant la brosse à dents pliante sont en   matiéres    plastiques moulées et les poils de la brosse sont indifféremment de provenance animale, végétale ou synthétique.



   REVENDICATION



   Brosse à dents pliante constituée par deux éléments joints par une articulation et pouvant se rabattre   l'un    contre l'autre pour former une boite étanche à la poussiére, caractérisée en ce que   l'un    des éléments constitue une tête avec sa brosse et que l'autre élément, constituant le manche, contient une réserve de matière dentifrice dans un logement prévu à cet effet et une cavité de protection de la brosse.

 

   SOUS-REVENDICATIONS
 1. Brosse à dents pliante selon la revendication, caractérisée en ce que les éléments qui la constituent sont en matières plastiques moulées.



   2. Brosse à dents pliante selon la revendication, caractérisée en ce que les poils constituant la brosse sont de provenance animale.



   3. Brosse à dents pliante selon la revendication, caractérisée en ce que les poils constituant la brosse sont de provenance végétale.



   4. Brosse à dents pliante selon la revendication, caractérisée en ce que les poils constituant la brosse sont de provenance synthétique.



   5. Brosse à dents pliante selon la revendication, caractérisée en ce que la réserve de matière dentifrice se trouve enfermée dans le dispositif lorsque celui-ci est fermé.

   The attached drawing shows an embodiment of the toothbrush:
 Fig. 1 shows the folding toothbrush in section in its open position of use.



   Fig. 2 shows the folding toothbrush in section in its closed position for transport or non-use.



   The brush element (1) and the handle element (2) are joined by a joint (3).



   In the open position, the rigidity of the assembly is ensured by two bosses (4) arranged laterally in the brush element and which are introduced by bending into two cavities (5) provided for this purpose in the handle element.



   In the closed position, the lug (6) working in flexion ensures the closure of the assembly by hooking itself to the tip of the brush element.



   The housing (7) receives the reserve of toothpaste material: a tube of toothpaste in the case shown in FIGS. I and 2 of the drawing.



   The cavity (8) serves as protection for the bristles of the brush.



   Hygiene and compactness are the advantages of this device.



   The elements constituting the folding toothbrush are made of molded plastic materials and the bristles of the brush are indifferently of animal, vegetable or synthetic origin.
