Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt gemäss Linie A-A in Fig. 1.

The main patent relates to a pneumatic auxiliary device for sucking off a running thread during manipulations on a textile machine with a large number of thread treatment points, which is characterized by at least one pipe extending over the entire length of the machine and connected to a vacuum source in an air-conducting manner, on which openings and thread suction elements at regular intervals are arranged with organs to reduce the size of the openings.
The tube opens into a container for receiving the extracted threads, which in turn is connected to a fan that can be switched on and off as required. The container can consist of a cuboid box, in the upper part of which a sieve plate is arranged as a separator.
However, this design of the container has the disadvantage that the sucked off thread material is partly remains hanging on the sieve plate and the same largely clogged, so that the suction is considerably reduced.
The invention relates to a further development of the device according to the claim of the main patent and aims to avoid the disadvantage mentioned. It is characterized in that a container with a circular cross-section is arranged between the tube and the vacuum source connected to it in an air-conducting manner for receiving the sucked threads, in the lower part of which there is a tangential to the inner circumferential circle of the container or a circle concentric to this with less Radius into the container wall opening, with the pipe connectable pipe socket and in the upper part of which a sieve plate is arranged as a separator.
The pipe socket can preferably run tangentially to a circle with a radius corresponding to approximately half the container radius existing at its point of entry into the container wall.
The inventive arrangement of the pipe socket creates a helical air flow in the container, in which the extracted threads are guided against the sieve plate and over time form a tangle that hovers below the sieve plate and gradually sinks downwards with increasing weight. A clogging of the sieve plate and the associated reduction in suction is avoided in this way.
An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing.
It shows in a purely schematic representation:
Fig. 1 is a central longitudinal section through a conical Behäl ter,
FIG. 2 shows a cross section according to line A-A in FIG. 1.
According to FIGS. 1 and 2, the container 12 for receiving the sucked threads is conical. The sieve plate 14 serving as a separator is located in the upper part of the container and 51 is the connecting pipe to the vacuum source, not shown. In the lower container part is the pipe socket 52, which runs tangentially to the circle K with half the container radius. The resulting helical air flow is indicated by the dotted line S. The ball formed from the sucked-off threads and floating below the sieve plate 14 is denoted by 53. The pipe socket 52 can be connected to the suction pipe, also not shown, by means of an optionally flexible connecting pipe, not shown.
On the underside of the container 12 is provided for the purpose of emptying with a lid 15 which can be attached to the container wall with a spring 16.
The container 12 can also be cylindrical instead of conical.
