Beispiel 1
Beispiel 2

**WARNUNG** Ende DESC Feld konnte Anfang CLMS uberlappen**.
It has been found that new valuable iminoisoindolinone pigments of the formula
EMI1.1
arrives in which X is halogen atoms, Y is a halogen atom, an alkoxy, cycloalkoxy, aralkoxy, aryloxy, alkylthio or arylthio group and R is an aromatic radical containing a cyclically bonded -CONH group, if one is a tri- or tetrahalogenoisoindolinone- 1 of the formula
EMI1.2
wherein V is a group of the formula
EMI1.3
where X2 is an imino or thio group and Y2 is halogen atoms, alkoxy or secondary amino groups, is condensed with an amine of the formula R-NH2, where R is an aromatic radical containing a cyclically bonded carboxamide group.
Iminoisoindolinones of the formula are preferably used as the starting material
EMI1.4
in which X and Y have the meaning given and R2 is an alkyl group containing 14 carbon atoms, and in particular those in which X and Y are chlorine atoms.
Those starting materials in which Y is a chlorine atom are known and those in which Y is an alkoxy, cycloalkoxy, aralkoxy, aryloxy, alkylthio or arylthio group can be converted into one by reacting an ammonium salt or ester of tetrachloro-o-cyanobenzoic acid hydrophilic organic solvent with a compound of the formula YMe, in which Y has the meaning given above and Me is an alkali metal atom, and, if necessary, esterifies the product obtained.
Examples of iminoisoindolinones are: 3,3-dimethoxy-4,5,6,7-tetrachloroisoindolinone 3,3-dimethoxy-4,5,6,7-tetrabromoisoindolinone 3,3-dimethoxy-4,5 , 7- trichloro-6-butoxy-isoindolinone 3,3-dimethoxy-4,5,7 trichloro-6-phenoxy-isoindolinone 3,3-dimethoxy-4,5,7-trichloro-6- (p-chlorophenoxy) - isoindolinone 3,3-dimethoxy-4,5,7- trichloro-6- (o-methylphenoxy) - isoindolinone 3,3-dimethoxy-4,5,7- trichloro-6-methylmercapto isoindolinone 3,3-dimethoxy-4, 5,7-trichloro-6-ethylmercapto-isoindolinone.
The isoindolinones mentioned are to be condensed with the amines of the formula H2N-R.
The condensation of the haloisoindolinone with the amine is carried out partly in the cold, optionally with heating of the intimately mixed components, particularly advantageously in the presence of inert, i.e. H. organic solvents not participating in the reaction.
The new dyes are valuable pigments which, in finely divided form, can be used to pigment high molecular weight organic material.
example 1
14.2 g of 3-imino-4,5,6,7-tetrachloroisoindolin-1-one and 7.8 g of 5-aminobenzimidazolone are heated to reflux temperature in 150 ml of glacial acetic acid for 1 hour. The pigment formed is filtered off while hot and washed with methanol and water.
After drying, 18.0 g of a reddish-tinged yellow pigment of the formula are obtained
EMI1.5
which in this form can be used directly for coloring paints. The dyeings produced therewith are distinguished by good fastness properties.
Example 2
17.0 g of 3,3,4,5,6,7-hexachloroisoindolin-1-one and 8.6 g of 5-amino-1-methyl-benzimidazolone are heated to 1500 in 200 ml of o-dichlorobenzene with stirring. A reddish-tinged yellow precipitate forms immediately and is filtered off after 2 hours. After washing with methanol and water, the dye is dried. 19 g of a yellow pigment of the formula are obtained
EMI1.6
that can be used directly for coloring plastics and paints. The yellow colorations achieved in this way have excellent migration and lightfastness.
Example 3
8.0 g of 3,4,6-trichloro-5-methoxy-2-cyanobenzoic acid methyl ester are stirred with 100 ml of methanol and 1.35 g of sodium methylate to form a clear solution. 4.3 g of 5-amino-1-methylbenzimidazolone are then added and the mixture is stirred for 15 hours at room temperature. The reaction mixture, from which the salt of the pigment formed precipitates, is diluted with 100 ml of o-dichlorobenzene and then acidified with 5 ml of glacial acetic acid.
The temperature is now increased to 150 ° C. while distilling off the methanol and glacial acetic acid. After 2 hours, the insoluble dye is filtered off at 100 "and washed with methanol and water. After drying, 10.8 g of a reddish yellow pigment are obtained.
In order to achieve a finely divided form of the pigment, the crude product is introduced into a solution of 100 ml of dimethylformamide, 2.7 g of sodium methylate and 20 ml of methanol with thorough stirring. The solution is poured into 500 ml of water and acidified with 10 ml of acetic acid. The precipitated pigment is filtered off, washed with water and dried at 60 ". The powder obtained in this way is suitable for coloring paints. The reddish-tinged yellow colorations achieved with it are distinguished by excellent overcoating and lightfastness.
