Fig. 2 eine schematische Vorderansicht einer Spüleinheit,
Fig. 4 eine schematische Vorderansicht einer Ätzeinheit, und
The invention relates to a continuous system for the etching treatment of flat objects, in particular for the production of plates with printed circuits on one or both sides, with a switch cabinet and several treatment units, the objects being conveyed on a horizontal conveyor device from one unit to the other, which conveyor device consists of two consists of parallel, multi-part support rails with conveyor shafts.
Systems for etching flat objects with interchangeable individual parts, so-called modules, are known. The construction of such individual parts is chosen so that the replacement of these individual parts or their assembly or removal to form a complete machine or system can only take place in the manufacturer's works. Machine or conveyor racks are used that have to be laboriously separated and reassembled when the individual parts are changed over.
The invention is based on the object of creating a system of the type in question which is intended to allow those who want to use the system for various work processes to carry out the replacement or installation and dismantling of the elements at the work site in the simplest possible way.
Starting from this overall task, the essential sub-task is to simplify the construction and make it lighter in terms of weight.
According to the invention, this object is essentially achieved in that each unit is designed as a modular element and has a self-supporting container serving as a console for liquid and suction means of a pump unit or for a fan, on which container a support rail element is provided on both sides Structure is attached with a spray or drying system, the structure having a hinged cover in which electrical control means are housed.
The subject of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to drawings, for example. Show it:
1 shows a schematic view of a continuous system for the etching treatment of flat objects,
2 shows a schematic front view of a flushing unit,
FIG. 3 is a schematic view of the flushing unit according to FIG. 2,
4 is a schematic front view of an etching unit, and FIG
5 shows a section of two adjacent conveyor shafts over which an O-ring is stretched.
1 shows a continuous system that is assembled from the following individual parts in sequence: a switch cabinet 1, an etching unit 2, a first rinsing unit 3, a second rinsing unit 4, a stripping unit 5 and a drying unit 6.
All units 2 to 6 are designed as modular elements, i. H. that they have the same dimensions, and are therefore interchangeable in the plant, or they can be removed from the plant depending on the changing production methods or additional units can be added in order to be adapted to the desired production.
In addition to the control means 7, which are intended to control the entire system, the switchgear cabinet 1 also contains a feed table for the flat objects to be treated, which forms part of a conveying device. The objects are conveyed from one unit to the other on this horizontal conveyor device until the finished objects are thrown out of the display at the end of the conveyor belt. The conveyor will be further described in detail.
As can be seen from FIGS. 2 and 4, each unit 2 to 6 has three individual parts which are placed directly on top of one another from bottom to top. The lower individual part, which serves as a console, is a self-supporting container 10 for liquids and suction parts of a Pwnpenaggregates 14 in the etching, rinsing and stripping units 2 to 5. In the drying unit 6, a high-pressure fan 13 is housed in the container 10, the Is part of a drying facility.
The containers 10 are transparent and have the same external dimensions for all units 2 to 6.
On the free rear part of the top of the container, drive and pump units 14 or pipes of the drying device are arranged vertically. The water and air connections are also connected to this rear side of the container 10.
Immediately on the container 10 in each unit 2 to 6 is a structure 11 which, like the container 10, is transparent to enable observation of the work processes and has the same dimensions for all units 2 to 6. The structure 11 is connected to the container 10 by means of screws, not shown, with nuts, so that it can be easily removed from the container 10. On both sides of the structure 11, two rail elements run parallel to one another, which are screwed to the structure 11 and have bearings for conveyor shafts 9. The two rail elements are longer than the structure 11 and protrude a little beyond it in the direction of the conveying axis, so that when two units are put together, the adjacent rail elements of the two units create a gap between the two units.
On each conveyor shaft 9, behind the bearing in the rear rail element, a toothed wheel is placed which is driven by means of a toothed belt, not shown, which is common to all shafts.
When assembling several units, the rail elements form continuous multi-part support rails 8 on both sides of the system, which also extend over the control cabinet 1, where they form a feed table with the corresponding conveyor shafts 9.
Each conveyor shaft 9 is provided with at equal intervals voneinan the grooves 9a (Fig. 5) in which grooves
9a each over two adjacent shafts 9 O-rings 16 are used. These O-rings 16 are made of an ethylene propylene
Material produced and have knobs 16 a, which on the
O-rings 16 are provided at equal distances from one another. The O-rings 16 are arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the conveyor track so that the O-rings following the previous O-rings are laterally offset from these in the horizontal plane.
The knobs 16a on the 0
Rings 16 and the lateral offset of the O-rings in the longitudinal direction of the conveyor track enable the undersides of the flat objects to be sprayed unhindered with etching liquid over their entire surfaces during the etching process. In addition, such a security
Arrangement a full concern of the items to be treated on the conveyor.
The structure 11 of the etching, rinsing and stripping unit 2 to
5 has upper and lower webs 18 and 19, respectively, in the
Mounting frames are attached and connected to the spray or flushing device. The upper and lower webs 18 and 19 are equipped with precision nozzles 20. Between the immovable upper and lower webs 18 and 19 with
Nozzles 20 move on the conveyor the flat ones
Objects. The upper and lower nozzles 20 are easily adjustable and can be controlled individually or together. The aggressive vapors are extracted from the structure 11 through a suction pipe 22 which is attached to the rear of the structure 11.
As can best be seen from FIG. 4, a hinged cover 12 is pivotably connected to the structure 11 of each unit 2 to 6 on a hinge. The cover 12 has the same external dimensions in all units 2 to 6.
The cover 12 contains control means 15 for the individual control of the unit, as well as a lighting means 21 and a safety device 17. The safety device 17 is a toggle switch, the contacts of which come into contact with the mercury contained in the switch when the cover 12 is opened and are thus closed, whereby the flow of liquid is interrupted.
The container 10, the structure 11 and the cover 12 of each unit 2 to 6 as well as the support rails 8 and the conveyor shafts 9 of the conveyor device are made of a plastic material. In addition to these parts, however, other parts and means, such as the fan and the pump unit, can be made entirely or partially from plastic.
In the system according to FIG. 1, the flat objects are placed on the conveying device above the control cabinet 1, after which they are gradually etched in the etching unit 2 by spraying the etching liquid on one or both sides, freed of acid in the rinsing units 3 and 4 with fresh water, stripped of alkali residues in the stripping unit 5 and dried with the air in the drying unit 6, after which they leave the system as finished parts.
To increase the output, e.g. For example, for plates with printed circuits, several etching units can be placed one behind the other, whereas, as in the chemical processing of metal moldings, some units can be left out.
The system described, which is composed of several treatment units, can create a comprehensive production line, the individual parts of which take over the function of the machine and conveyor frame, so that they can be dispensed with. The assembly of the system from the units can easily be carried out in a company depending on the desired production. Each unit has a robust construction that does not have a plastic-coated steel frame. The system described above can be used for all areas of industrial etching technology.
