Abstract

Precompressed electrical insulating board for the slots of electrical machinery is laminated from a puncture-proof temp-resistant and homogeneous insulating foil in the centre. It is covered by protective fibre mat layers, followed on the outside by fibre-reinforced laminated carriers with an epoxy resin bonding agent. These layers are joined in such a way that some of the fibre mat layer parallel to the lamination retain a mat structure free from impregnation. This produces a stiff laminate with excellent electrical properties for large electrical machines. IT has a much higher static and dynamic resistance to mechanical loads without forming any crack than the conventional laminates with fibre-resin-reinforced carrier layers.

Description

The invention relates to a laminate for the electrical insulation of electrical machines and apparatus, in particular for groove insulation, with a puncture-proof, temperature-resistant homogeneous insulating film and outer layers made of fiber-reinforced, layered carrier material and hardenable synthetic resin binders.

   The production of such a laminate is described as a process according to Swiss patent 549467.

   In order to obtain a higher dielectric strength, a relatively soft laminate made of several polyisobutylene layers, between which an additional insulating layer of slag or glass wool paper, mica, glass fabric or the like is alternately glued, has been proposed. (CH-PS 228 523). However, this laminate is less suitable for insulation that is subject to high mechanical loads. The additional insulating layers are intended to ensure increased electrical and thermal strength, but there is no improvement in the mechanical properties of the insulation. Furthermore, layered high-voltage insulation is known which consist of insulating foils with interposed porous polyester fleece layers (DT-Gbm 1 834 061).

  Again, this is not a stiff laminate, but a material that can be wrapped in the form of a tape and whose mechanical strength is not subject to any special requirements. The fleece layers should only allow the insulation to be soaked or impregnated with impregnating resin or insulating oil to remove any cavities.

   The invention is based on the object of specifying a stiff laminate with good electrical properties, particularly suitable for the slot insulation of large electric machines, which can withstand a significantly higher static and dynamic mechanical load without cracking than the known laminates with fiber-reinforced carrier material.

   According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the insulating film is arranged as an intermediate layer between the outer layers and is covered on both sides with random fiber protective layers, and the random fiber protective layers are connected to both the insulating film and the fiber-reinforced outer layers in such a way that a continuous parallel to the layering, only from Binder unimpregnated random fibers existing remainder of the random fiber structure remains.

   In the drawing, embodiments of the structure of the laminate according to the invention are shown in perspective.

   It shows:
1 shows a symmetrical structure of individual layers on both sides of the centrally arranged insulating film,
2 shows an asymmetrical structure.

   According to FIG. 1, F the centrally arranged insulating film is covered on both sides with the paper layers X, X '. Between the insulating film F covered in this way and the fiber-reinforced outer layers Z1, Z2 and Z1, Z2, a glass wool fleece layer Y, Y 'is inserted on both sides. The individual layers of the laminated material are connected in such a way that in the tangled fiber protection layers, for example paper layers X, X 'made of a temperature-resistant aromatic polyamide, a residue Rx, Rx, which is parallel to the layering and consists only of tangled fibers, remains in place.

   The symmetrical structure of individual layers of the laminated material according to FIG. 1 is therefore carried out, for example, as follows:
2 layers of fabric Z2 and Z1 made of fiberglass as outer layers are pre-impregnated with epoxy synthetic resin through the entire fabric thickness, preferably with a thickness of
0.1 mm and 0.2 mm;
1 layer of untreated glass fleece Y, for example from one
Thickness of 0.05 mm;
1 paper layer X, for example 0.3 mm thick, made of a temperature-resistant aromatic poly amide, known for example under the trade name Nomex> Type 410, which is pre-impregnated (prepreg) and calendered on both sides, only on the surface with epoxy resin;

  ;
1 centrally arranged polyhydantoin film F, for example known under the trade name Resistofol N>, preferably of a thickness of 0.1 mm.

   The arrangement of the other layers X, Y ', Z1 and Z2 is symmetrical to the plastic film F in the same design as the layers X, Y, Z, and Z2, with the total thickness of the laminate unpressed 1.4 mm or pressed 1.1 + 0.1 mm. Rx and Rx, illustrate the uninterrupted remainder of the tangled fiber structure consisting of non-impregnated random fibers.

   2 shows the asymmetrical structure of individual layers of the laminated material, in which, in addition to the plastic film F and the fiber-reinforced outer layers Z ,,, Z, or Z1 'Z,' the random fiber layers X, or X1, X2 and X, compared to the Plastic film F are arranged asymmetrically. The connection of the individual layers is similar to that in FIG. 1, with a remainder of Rx, Rx, RX2 and RXS consisting only of random fibers that is parallel to the stratification in the random fiber layers X, X1, X2 and Xs.

  The example embodiment in which no glass fleece layers are used is the following:
2 layers of fabric Z2 and Z, made of fiberglass as outer layers, are pre-impregnated with epoxy resin through the entire fabric thickness and preferably with a thickness of 0.1 mm and 0.2 mm;
1 layer of paper X, for example 0.3 mm thick.

   made of a temperature-resistant aromatic polyamide.

   for example under the trade name Nomex
Type 410 known, which is pre-impregnated on both sides, only on the surface with epoxy synthetic resin (prepreg) and calendered;
1 polyhydantoin film F, known for example under the trade name Resistofol N *, preferably 0.1 mm thick;
1 layer of paper X1, for example 0.08 mm thick, made of a temperature-resistant aromatic polyamide, known for example under the trade name Nomex Type 410, which is pre-impregnated on both sides, only on the surface with epoxy synthetic resin (prepreg) and calendered;

  ;
1 untreated paper layer X2, for example from a
Thickness of 0.15 mm, made of a temperature-resistant aromatic polyamide, known for example under the trade name Nomex Type 411;
1 paper layer Xs, for example 0.08 mm thick, made of a temperature-resistant aromatic poly amide, known for example under the trade name Nomex> Type 410, which is prepreg and calendered on both sides, only on the surface with epoxy resin;
2 layers of fabric Z1, and Z2, made of fiberglass as the outer layers are pre-impregnated with epoxy resin through the entire thickness of the fabric, preferably 0.2 mm and 0.1 mm thick.

   The total thickness of the laminate is 1.31 mm unpressed, 1.0 + 0.1 mm when pressed. Rx, Ri, R> 2 and R "3 each illustrate the continuous remainder of the random fiber structure consisting of non-impregnated random fibers.

   The isolations with the structure described above are made according to the reaction behavior of the
