Il existe de nombreux modèles de fronton, lesquels sont sans exception verticaux, plats, de dimension généralement importante; ces panneaux ou frontons servent généralement aux jeux de pelotes basques, chisteras, polotas, et éventuellement à l'entraînement du jeu de tennis, ou badmington. Il arrive que de simples murs servent de frontons, il en va de même en ce qui concerne le jeu de ping-pong, des joueurs approchant simplement une table d'une cloison, d'un mur ou encore d'une glace ou d'un miroir. Le but de ces diverses combinaisons étant toujours le retour de la balle vers la ou les personnes qui l'ont lancée.
Le défaut de ces panneaux ou frontons étant de retourner les balles dans une direction opposée à celle de laquelle elles ont été lancées si celle-ci n'est pas rigoureusement dans l'axe du fronton, en outre dans un jeu rapproché les rebonds sur le sol sont pour ainsi dire impossibles.
La présente invention remédie aux inconvénients des frontons plats déjà connus et ci-dessus décrits, elle concerne un fronton constitué par un panneau galbé et concave pouvant servir à tous les jeux de balles.

T), une chape (fig. s) avec vis de serrage. le panneau (fig. Q) sera muni dans sa partie basse d'une platine (R-) avec noyau rotule, laquelle est serrée par la vis de serrage. L'ensemble panneau-socle sera simplement posé sur une surface plate (V). Un filet de ping-pong ou autre filet approprié peut être tendu horizontalement sur la partie basse du panneau, dans les règles de jeu le fait de frapper le filet étant une pénalité.
Le socle (fig. 5) étant détachable du panneau, il est facile de transporter socle et panneau dans une housse, laquelle sera étudiée pour loger en même temps balles, raquettes et filet; pour le transport le socle peut être délesté.
